34 Eternal Pose

Zeus woke up the next morning with Bonney on top of him drooling on his chest and what felt like... biting? He chuckled and slowly sank through the cloud, setting Bonney down gently on the cloud.

He landed on the deck and looked around before calling a meeting.

Soon enough, all of the higher ups were in the room.

Zeus sat in the head chair and slowly said "I'm leaving. For a while this time. Could be months, or a year. Keep in contact with me, when I come back I want progress." Zeus looked at Crocodile and said "Get in touch with Tesoro's ship provider and get some ships. At least one better than this re-painted Marine garbage."

Crocodile chuckled and nodded, Zeus looked at Lucci and said "You and your team are ready for missions. It's time to start. If there's really a problem, contact Persephone. Remember, In and Out. You're not spies anymore, I will find someone else for that."

Lucci nodded and Zeus looked at Persephone and said "If you want to go on missions, do it, but I'd rather you stay to train the newbies." Persephone sighed and nodded. Zeus nodded and pulled out a piece of rolled up paper before unrolling it on the table.

The other 4 looked at the design and were confused.

Zeus coughed and said "This is what I want our main ship to look like. More storage space at the bottom along with the necessities, until we find a relatively stable base camp this will be our base of operations. I want specifically a conference room somewhere on the ship, sealed off and hidden."

Crocodile said "I've never seen a ship like this." Zeus grinned and said "That's because this is a new ship I came up with. It's called a destroyer ship. But it will be expensive..." Tesoro scoffed and said "How expensive can it be?"

Zeus smiled and said "The ship is made of metal, not wood." the 4 were stunned and simultaneously said "Impossible!" Zeus chuckled and grabbed a piece of metal before shaping it like a canoe and putting it in a bucket of water.

The metal canoe floated and Zeus explained "If the ship is less dense than the water that it's floating on, it won't sink. Anyway I explained everything on the paper with the design and drawing, just had it to the ship makers and ask them if it's possible. If it is get it, if not the get normal wood ones. Regardless if you get it or not, give the shipwrights these." he snapped his fingers and a cloud flew into the room before dropping a dozen boxes.

Zeus opened the boxes and pulled out a dial before saying "These are dials, they do anything from everyday uses to propelling air." he threw the dial back inside and closed the box before adding "There's a book describing every dial in detail. I want these in the main ship." he rubbed his chin and said "If he can do it, call me with a quote on the materials and money required. Other than the metal ship, if it HAS to be made of wood, I want it to be Adam Wood."

The four sucked a cold breath of air once again and Zeus sneered "I'm not fucking around. Even if we are an underground force we still need to be ready to be attacked, plus it can cover up the underworld business by posing as a pirate group." he rubbed his chin and muttered "Though, if I had the choice I would want Franky to work on it..."

He looked up and said "Any questions?" the four were stunned and swallowed their saliva. Tesoro looked at the boat with a fanatical expression and said "It's almost as good as the Gran Tesoro!" Zeus let out a breath and said "I'm not going to lie. Your ship is pretty good, but this one will be a monster!" Crocodile grinned and said "Let's do it then. I'm getting excited!"

Zeus chuckled and said "Go out and bring in Stella, after this I'm leaving. Oh right! If there are any rats abandoning MY organization, I expect them eliminated! That goes for all of you, when I'm not here I don't want it to be a mad house, understand?" the four nodded and grinned before leaving.

A few minutes later

Only Tesoro and Stella were in the room. Zeus looked at Tesoro and said "Show me your brands." Stella and Tesoro's faces turned ugly and Tesoro showed the giant star brand. Zeus waved his hand and said "Stella." Stella lifted her shirt and turned around.

Zeus walked over and his hand crackled with lightning before he gently pressed his palm on the brand. He took this hand back and the brand was gone, Tesoro's eyes bulged out in shock and Zeus turned to him and said "What about you star-boy?"

Tesoro was still in shock and said to Stella "Are you okay?!" Stella nodded and said excitedly "Is it gone?" Tesoro nodded and hugged Stella tightly. Zeus stepped back and walked out of the room, when he was about to leave, Tesoro said seriously "The favor.. I will repay you in the future!"

Zeus stopped and said "I don't need repayment." he turned his head and his smirk was slightly visible as he added "Just do a good job, lover boy" before he left the room. Tesoro smiled and hugged Stella happily.

Zeus wave dat the rest and said "I'm leaving. Don't disappoint me." the entire organization nodded and saluted, Zeus nodded and disappeared, they all saw a cloud fly off into the sky and when it was gone they got back to work, but they were working harder than before. Zeus gave them everything, now it was time to prove that his investment wasn't in vain. After all, if they can't do anything for themselves, they might as well dig a grave and jump into it themselves.

Crocodile immediately got to work and called the shipwrights Tesoro gave him.

Lucci started training not just the CP9 agents but the new recruits as well, giving them tips on the six powers and doing mock combat with them.

Persephone helped Lucci train them while also training herself.

Tesoro was using his connections to import a large amount of metals and seastone. Zeus told them the military secrets of seastone under the ship and Tesoro was going to surprise him with something even more extravagant.

The prisoners got into the swing of things under Trent's leader ship, there was a bump but the 4 leaders put them into their places. Trent was thankful to them and started working hard.

Tartarus started working like a well-oiled machine even without Zeus' leadership. Swarming the market and catching the attention of a certain pink feathered man, but that was months from now.

Currently, Zeus was flying through the air. He was sitting in front of , a still sleeping, Bonney with a smile on his face. He just ended a call with a drug synthesizer and came up with a recipe and placed a shipment for the first of Tartarus' drug trade. He named it Fallen Angel powder, but it was basically Cocaine from Zeus' old world, only around 100 times stronger. After all the physiques of the people in this world were 1000 times better than Earth, so in reality, the fallen Angel powder was just normal Cocaine to them, but it would kill a person from Earth with a single flake.

He called Crocodile and told him what happened and that he should be expecting a shipment to the Gran Tesoro soon. Zeus added "Label and sell in the Gran Tesoro for now. It's completely different from what's on the market, this is a big wealthy consumer drug. Do not try it yourself, that goes for anyone in Tartarus. It's highly addictive. Price it at 1 million per gram. But sell 5 grams for free to the first 5 customers." Crocodile confirmed and Zeus hung up.

He put the snail away and Bonney's arms gently wrapped around his neck from behind. Zeus smiled and turned around to see Bonney smiling with a sleepy face, he kissed her and said "Hungry?" Bonney nodded gently and kissed him again.

Zeus smiled gently and pulled out a dozen boxes before putting them in front of her. She rubbed her eyes and yawned "What's this?" Zeus caressed her soft cheek and said "I made them this morning for you."

Bonney perked up and looked at Zeus in surprise before saying "You can cook?" Zeus touched his nose and said "I dabble." Bonney gave him a look and opened the box to see dozens of different little foods, she picked up a fork and stabbed the food before putting it in her mouth.

Her eyes widened and she groaned "So goood!" Zeus smiled slightly and flew in the direction of the Eternal pose while she devoured the rest of the boxes. Zeus was a strange person, actually all his cooking experience was because of him practicing day and night for years during high-school, under the influence of a certain anime. Eventually he re-created a dish and was told it was really good, unfortunately the person he fed it to didn't have the reaction he wanted, so he stopped cooking for other people and just cooked for himself.

It wasn't the best in the world but it was still pretty good. Bonney seemed to like it at least. unfortunately her clothes didn't explode either! Zeus was aggrieved, that anime was a lie!

Bonney kept eating and burped at the end, she patted her flat stomach and sighed "I'm full.." Zeus and Bonney froze and looked at each other, Zeus stuttered "F-F-FULL?!" he touched her forehead and said anxiously "Are you okay?!" Bonney was stunned and giggled, she grabbed his hand and said excitedly "I haven't felt full for years!"

Zeus laughed proudly and said "Naturally it's because of my out of this world cooking!" he added in his mind 'Literally' and Bonney snorted before hugging him and saying "Where are we going?" Zeus held up the Eternal Pose and said "Maybe to see my dad. I don't know where this Eternal pose goes, my dad just gave it to me."

Bonney got slightly nervous and said "Your dad?" Zeus looked at her and laughed, he flicked her forehead and said "Relax. He's harmless.. Well to you anyway... I hope." Bonney only got more nervous and said "But I didn't dress up! Or shower!"

Zeus pulled her to his lap and scratched her nose as he said "Don't worry about it. You don't need to dress up." he sniffed her hair and grinned "And you smell like flowers." Bonney blushed and muttered "You're just a big pervert." Zeus laughed and flew towards the direction the Eternal Pose was pointing towards.

A few days later

Zeus and Bonney landed on the island.

Zeus looked around confused, there was nothing here only a mountain. He looked at the top of the mountain and saw something, he grabbed Bonney's hand and they walked towards the summit.

After an hour of walking

Zeus and Bonney reached the summit to see a giant gravestone with a cross and an angel statue. There was a man in a cloak looking at the grave silently. Zeus walked up to the grave and saw 'Monkey D. Lily' engraved on the stone. He teared up and took a breath before sitting down in front of the graven silently, Bonney come up and sat next to him.

The man finally opened his eyes and turned head head to see Zeus and Bonney, he was stunned and said "Zeus!?"

Zeus looked over and smiled "Hey Dad." Bonney looked over and saw Dragon and was startled, she looked at Zeus in shock before standing up and bowing slightly "H-Hello, I'm Jewelry Bonney. Nice to meet you. I'm.. I'm-" Zeus cut her off and said "She's my wife.. Er I mean girlfriend?" Bonney blushed furiously and glared at Zeus, who gave her a nervous chuckle.

Dragon was stunned before smiling widely, he took off his hood and said "Monkey D. Dragon, just call me Dad." Zeus choked on his saliva and looked at Dragon incredulously, even Bonney was a bit dumbfounded, just like that? Dragon saw their reactions and said seriously "Usually this little brat fools around with women and leaves the next morning. Seeing that he brought you here, I don't think he has any plans of leaving you."

Zeus turned green and Bonney glared at him angrily before smiling at Dragon and saying "Then thank you dad. I'll 'take good care' of him." Dragon laughed and Zeus shuddered, Dragon turned to Lily's grave and muttered "See? I told you he would bring one here..."

Zeus closed his eyes sadly and calmed down. Bonney sat down and kept silent, seeing the situation, but she wasn't going to let Zeus go that easily. As she was thinking of the various punishments, Dragon sat down in front of Zeus.

Zeus whistled and the cloud flew down and dropped 4 sake cups with a bottle of Sake.

Zeus placed one if front of Lily's grave, Dragon, himself, and Bonney. Bonney immediately grabbed the bottle and poured Lily's, then Dragon's, then Zeus', and finally her own. Dragon nodded in satisfaction, he really liked this daughter-in-law, very respectful.

Bonney held her cup with both hands and said "Toast dad!" Dragon laughed and drank from his cup, Bonney smiled and drank from hers before pouring Dragon's cup full again.

Zeus sipped from his cup as he sat cross-legged on the ground, all he was missing was a Kimono and he would look like a Yazuka boss from Wano.

Dragon nodded and left his filled cup in front of Lily's. Zeus drank his cup and Bonney filled it before he left it in front of Lily's as well, Bonney did the same.

Dragon was silent for a moment before saying "Do you know why she died?" Zeus said "Child birth." Dragon nodded and had a complicated look in his eyes as he said "The truth is that she was already seriously ill before then. She insisted on giving birth, denying any treatment on the off chance it hurt the babies."

Zeus was silent and Dragon continued "When I met her, she was the only thing in my eyes. It was a long time ago." he took a deep breath and said "When I invaded Mariejoie with Fisher Tiger." Zeus was stunned silly, he didn't know this before.

Dragon continued "At the time, she was just a slave but I fell in love with her at first sight." he closed his eyes as if recalling a fond memory, before he spoke again "After I saved her from Mariejoie, I started the Revolutionaries and she helped me. As the time passed I was fortunate enough to have her as my wife, but after we found out she was sick. I wanted to start treatment right away but she revealed that she was in fact pregnant and she wouldn't take any medicine at all."

He sighed and added "She held on with purely will power, until you were born and mere moments after she died on the same bed she gave birth in." Dragon looked down at the 4 cups and said honestly "During the pregnancy I argued with her a lot to take the medicine, we could have more kids anyway. But she vehemently denied it, to be honest with you, I hated you and your brother."

Zeus trembled and Dragon continued "How could I not? You both were the reason she left me." he sighed and shook his head as he added "Her last words to me was to take care of you both and keep you safe." Dragon trembled and looked at his hands as he said "I tried but I just couldn't every time I saw you both, It reminded me of her. I was filled with rage towards everything. The nobles, you and your brother, the world, and even... even myself. Eventually I handed you to your grandfather because I was worried that I would do something I would regret for the rest of my life."

Zeus looked down, his hat shadowing his eyes, and Dragon clenched his fists and sighed while letting them go before saying "I spent a long time thinking about you and your brother while I was building the revolutionaries into what it is today. Sometimes I would watch you and Luffy run around causing havoc in Foosha Village with those two other brats. 17 years passed and I found out that Luffy was leaving to become a pirate."

He chuckled and said "Naturally I started to watch him, following him secretly." he looked at Zeus and said "Then I saw you following him and cleaning up his messes as you went. I realized that even though I lost Lily I got two more things more precious than anything in my life." he smiled and patted Zeus' head as he said "I saw everything."

Zeus looked up with tears pooling in his eyes, Dragon smiled and said "From when they left Orange town to Loguetown." Zeus' face scrunched up and Dragon coughed and said "Well not that." Zeus turned green and Bonney pinched his waist and muttered "Bastard!" under her breath.

Dragon laughed and took his hand back before continuing "After Loguetown I saw that you continued to follow Luffy and protect him from the shadows without letting him know who you were. I was impressed by your self-control and decided to let you go off on your own. So I went back to the revolutionaries and set up spies on every Island in paradise, under the guise of looking for new recruits, well I did get new recruits, but that's besides the point. I found out about everything. Drum Island, Alabasta, Water 7, Enies Lobby, even Sabaody. After that I couldn't follow anymore, but I was satisfied with your performances."

Zeus smiled slightly and grabbed Bonney's small hand. She smiled and squeezed his hand a bit.

Dragon nodded and said "When I read the news I rushed to your Grandfather and beat him up. Eventually finding out that you were sent to Mariejoie, actually I was going to attack Mariejoie soon, but I guess I can delay it now." Zeus smiled brightly and squeezed Bonney's hand while trembling.

Dragon looked at Zeus and said "How did you escape?" Zeus pointed to Bonney and Dragon was surprised and said "You saved him?!" Bonney nodded and explained what happened to her after the war, Dragon was even more impressed and laughed as he said "What a good daughter-in-law! You tell me if he bullies you. I won't let him go!" Bonney smiled sweetly and Zeus touched his nose as he smiled wryly.

Dragon smiled happily and stood up, he cracked his neck and said "Come with me. I'm going to train you both." Zeus hesitated and said "We're not going to Tequila wolf are we?" Dragon didn't answer but asked "Why?" Zeus said seriously "All of Luffy's crew thinks I'm dead. I'm sure you know Nico Robin is there?" Dragon nodded and Zeus said "I bet their working even harder than they would have normally. I don't want to disturb them and for certain reasons I don't want Luffy to know I'm alive before I show up in front of him and reveal myself."

Dragon grinned and said "Good. We're not going to Tequila Wolf. I have a better place in mind." Zeus nodded and smiled before saying "Can I stay here for a bit?" Dragon nodded and said "Take your time." before leaving down the mountain.

Zeus sat with Bonney in silence for a bit before he stood up and said "I miss you mom." before looking at Bonney, who smiled and said "I'll stay. I want to talk to her alone for a bit." Zeus smiled and bent over before gently kissing her lips saying "Take as long as you need. I'm going to explore." before walking down the mountain in the opposite direction from Dragon.

Bonney sat in front of the grave and sighed before she said "I bet you were an amazing woman, Its a shame I never got to meet you.." a voice entered her ears saying "Who says you won't?" Bonney was stunned and looked up before gasping.

Zeus walked down the mountain and explored around it, it was strange enough that there was only a single mountain on a deserted island. He guessed that there must be something else, sure enough, there was a strange indent on the side of the mountain. He walked over and saw that it was a bunch of rocks. He moved the rocks out of the way and saw a big hole, he grinned excitedly and flew into the hole with his spirit of adventure surging.

He walked in the tunnel, channeling lightning and lighting up the tunnel. He walked in further and walked into a room, he looked around before seeing a lone skeleton with a bag next to it along with a book.

Zeus walked over and picked up the book before gasping in shock and looking at the skeleton incredulously.
