1 Growing up

On December 24, 1998, Richard and Mary Parker were walking with their children in their arms. They come to a house, walk up to it, and knock. A few seconds later, the door opens, and Ben Parker, the older brother of Richard, sees them. Ben sees their smiles and welcomes them in, where they see May Parker setting up dinner.

"Richard, Mary, it's so good to see you." May says, looking at the kids who are sleeping. "Aw, if you want, you can put them on our bed upstairs."

"Thank you, May." Richard takes both kids in his arms and takes them upstairs.

"So what brings you to Brooklin this time?" "I thought you wouldn't be coming this year?"Ben asked

"I wish it were for something good, but we have an emergency and need to talk to you both." Mary tells them to wait for Richard to come down before saying anything.

After a minute, Richard comes down, and they sit at the table with Ben and May looking at them.

"Ok, first I need to explain that Mary and I are not normal scientists." We work for a joint world agency, and things have been getting troubling recently, and after talking to our senior agent, we decided to take some actions in case an emergency happens." Richard tells them, shocking them and not knowing how to process this.

"What can we do to help?" "I don't think me and May will be able to do much." Ben states firmly that he wishes to assist his family.

"Here." Richard pulls out a big yellow envelope and hands it to Ben.

When Ben opens and takes out the papers, all the paperwork to transfer assets to them is there, and the next set is that, in case they die, their sons Peter Parker and Julian Parker are to live with them.

"How serious are things for you to do this, Richard?" "Is it worth doing all this just for an organization?" Ben gets upset and frustrated, thinking they are prepared to die.

"I know you think we can walk away, but if we did, the consequences would hurt a lot more people than it's worth." "We aren't happy with this, but there's no way out for us, not now." Mary says she is crying, and May goes over to hug her.

"While we have accepted our fate, we won't leave the boys empty-handed," Richard tells them.

After talking a bit more, Ben and May sign the papers, and Richard leaves to go to a lawyer to file everything. After a few hours, he returns with an armful of presents, and when he comes in, he sees his brother on the couch downstairs, waiting for him. After talking about old times, they fall asleep.

Christmas day

All the adults get woken up by two little balls of energy, excited for presents, after settling them down and eating breakfast. It was time to open presents. Richard got Peter a science kit for kids, and for Julian, he got him a kid's laptop where you can learn coding and other things. Knowing his boys are smart, he wants them to shine in the future.

After having a fun day with the kids, Richard gets a call, making everyone sad when he tells them he and Mary need to leave tonight. So when putting the boys to sleep, they sit with them and tell them how much they love them and are so proud to have them. Before they fall asleep, Richard tells them to remember that with great power comes great responsibility. They leave, saying goodbye to Ben and May, hugging and thanking them, with everyone crying, knowing this might be the last time they see each other.

After driving away, Ricard makes a call. "Agent Fury, we're ready and on our way, and please remember to check in on our boys."

"I know." Thank you for taking on this mission; I'll keep an eye on them." Fury tells them this.

Two weeks later, news of the deaths of Richard and Mary Parker reaches Ben and May, making them cry, especially when they talk to the boys. They lock themselves in the bathroom and cry for hours until they fall asleep, with Ben getting in and taking them to bed.

Later on, the Parker household gets a knock on the door. When Ben answered the door, two people were there.

"Yes, can I help you two?" Ben asked them

"We're not together." I'll wait for him to leave before talking to you." The man with an eyepatch tells Ben

"Hello, are you Ben Parker?" The other man says

"Yes, what can I do for you?" Ben asked

"Well, I'm a lawyer hired by Richard Parker. Can I come in and talk to you."The lawyer asked

"Yes! come in. "Do you also want to come in?" Ben asked the eye-patched man

"No, I'll wait for you two to be done out here." He tells Ben

"Ok," Ben says, showing the lawyer in and showing him how to sit at the table.

"Well, first off, I'm sorry for your loss." Now your brother hired me before to take care of the asset transfer with him, requesting everything to be sold and setting up three accounts: one for each son that can be used when they turn twelve with set limits and you in charge of managing their purchases; and one for you to take care of them and yourself. Now everything has been sold, and all personal belongings have been stored nearby. "This is the key to it, and all that's left is for you to sign here." The lawyer tells Ben, giving him the account numbers, keys, and papers to sign, and after Ben signs, he leaves with Ben, inviting the eye-patched man inside.

"Sorry about that, but things haven't been good lately," Ben says.

"I know. Let me introduce myself. I'm Nick Fury, director of the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division. Your brother and sister-in-law were both agents that worked under me when I was their senior agent. Fury tells Ben

"What do you want?" Ben asked, looking at Fury like an enemy, which Fury noticed.

"I guess Richard told you a bit, then I'll tell you why I'm here. On their last mission, where they died, it was framed to make them seem like traitors, and if I didn't know them, I would have believed it too. However, I'm still investigating what really happens, and after becoming director, I'll be doing a lot more to look into it, but right now, I'm still weak, and it'll take time. But for now, I've made sure that nothing negative will come out and ruin their image in the eyes of the public, so the kids will live as normally as they can." Fury tells Ben, and after making sure everything is good, he leaves. Looking back at the house, Fury tells himself he will keep an eye out for them and find out what happened to his agency. The people who caused this had no idea they were setting themselves up for failure.

After a few months, the boys got settled into the Parker house. Unhappy, they became more quiet and stayed together in their new room. There are bunk beds, two desks, and a large closet. On their desks, they set up their last gifts from their parents, with Peter doing science experiments and Julian learning coding and software development, making Ben realize how smart they are, so he would never stop them from learning more.

The next Christmas morning wasn't as happy because the boy didn't want to open presents because it was some of their best memories with their parents, and now it's a reminder that they're gone. After some time trying to convince them, Ben decided to take them outside to a nearby park. When they get there, it's mostly empty, with only a few families there. After getting the boys to play, they came back later with two other kids, and Julian had a bloody nose. When asked what happened, they explained that this big kid, Eugene, was picking on the other two, Mary Jane Watson and Ned Leeds. While Peter was making sure they were okay, Julian confronted Eugene and got hit in the face before taking Eugene down and putting his face into the ground before letting him go, and Eugene ran off crying.

After that day in the park, the boys have been better and are making friends with the two kids. Mary Jane lived right next to them, so they hung out a lot; Ned was a bit further away, and his parents were strict, but even so, any chance he could come to play, he would. They're very close to Peter and look up to Julian. In the end, they went to the same kindergarten and stayed as a group there. Eugene had gone there as well and made friends with kids his age. Going through sixth grade, Peter made a new friend, Harry Osborn, and added him to their group.

so four went to five. Harry turned out to be a fun person to be with and helped the group be more outgoing, so the group of nerds began going to more events, and with Harry's dad, they got to go to exclusive events. Ned was happy with everything and made the group happy with his optimism. MJ loved art and was very cynical, but she made sure we didn't do anything stupid. Peter had made great progress in learning engineering and chemistry, was close to Aunt May, learned a lot from her, and preferred to stay inside experimenting. Julian loved learning about computers and developed some flash games and software for Peter. The two helped each other learn about each other's interests.

When they were in seventh grade, things changed, and the boys got access to their bank accounts, making Ben give them the family speech. With great power comes great responsibility, and when the boy tells him what they want, they have to make good arguments to get it. In the end, Julian got a server tower installed in the basement to develop better software and a desktop to handle everything. Peter got a 3D printer and some science equipment with lots of different chemicals, which required him to get advanced safety equipment. After these big purchases, they decided to save their money, making Uncle Ben happy. Until it got harder for him to get the boy outside, aside from school and friends, he set up rules for them to remember to live life right now and work hard later on. But secretly, the boys were planning for Parker Industries to make their names known and make their parents, Uncle Ben and Aunt May, proud.

When ninth grade started, Julian met Gwen Stacy sitting outside Midtown High School. She was trying to make an introduction to herself and looked very nervous. After introducing himself and making her feel awkward, he gave her a tour of the school. When Eugene, or "Flash," made fun of Julian, Gwen approached him and said things that were so sophisticated that they were over Flash's and his goons' heads, prompting them to leave and claim they had a new nerd. After that, Julian brought her to his friends, and immediately she was accepted by Mj, who said they had needed a new girl for a long time. With the tag team of Harry and Gwen, the group became even more lively, and they were looking forward to the school year.

Okay, the first chapter of the new story Let me know what you think, and if you are happy, leave a comment, and of course, give me your power stones.
