Twin Trouble

"Oh, Mr. Anzai, or should I call you brother-in-law?" Akane said with a smirk.

"Don't you dare cross your limits. Do you want me to eliminate you from my life?" Hiroto responded angrily.

"Oh, don't be angry, Mr. Anzai. I've already given you something precious for your life, your family, and your legacy, all while betraying my sister. And this is how I get treated? Don't you think I deserve some respect for what I've done? Or do you want me to reveal your little secret to the world? Then you'd have no respect at all." Akane said, her eyes gleaming with lust as she stared at Hiroto.

"You don't know me. You don't know me well enough to threaten me out of the blue. If you did, you wouldn't have set foot in my house." Hiroto said coldly. A group of men then surrounded Akane, aiming guns at her head.

"Now, do you see what I'm capable of?" Hiroto asked with a cold expression.

"I know what you're capable of, Mr. Anzai. But you're still underestimating me. You knew enough to let me in. If you truly valued truth and its importance to society, you would have done this before." Akane said, still unflinching despite the guns pointed at her.

Hiroto then ordered the men to lower their weapons.

"Since I'm here, I'd like to meet my nephew. I want to see how big he's grown," Akane declared, heading toward the stairs without permission.

"Hiro, where are you? Come see your aunt, she's here!" Akane called out. Akie, hiding behind the curtain, watched her approach.

"Oh, here you are, Hiro. You scared to see me? Don't worry, everyone gets scared seeing me because I hold so many secrets." Akane said, glaring at Akie.

"Dad, this aunt is scary! Save me!" Akie cried, pushing Akane and running towards Hiroto. "Dad, who is she? Why is she clinging to me like a bug? Dad, save me! She glared at me like a demon!" Akie acted dramatically.

"How dare you call me a demon, you brat!" Akane yelled, approaching Akie with a raised hand.

"That's enough! Guards, throw this woman out of the house! And if you ever dare to threaten me with your fabricated claims again, I'll show you exactly how merciful I can be – or how terrifying I can become when I decide to take your life." Hiroto said, covering Akie's ears.

The guards soon escorted Akane out of the mansion. As she left, she thought, "No, no, no. No matter how much I threaten Hiroto Anzai, I can't reveal the secret I hold. If I did, that... that woman would gain everything and live like a queen. And why on earth didn't I claim to be the child's mother? I could have had all the happiness. But then again, he needed an heir, not a wife. He would've thrown money at me to keep me quiet, but he never would have accepted me."

At school, Akie ran into Hiro as he arrived.

"Hiro, you're finally here! I need to talk to you," Akie said.

"Me too. I have something serious to discuss," Hiro replied.

"Okay, let me go first. An aunt came to your house, and things got heated with your dad. I don't know the details; it seemed like adult stuff. But she was awful, and your dad got really angry. Somehow, he threw her out of the house," Akie explained.

"That's strange. An aunt also came to your place and was incredibly rude to your mom and aunt. But your Aunt Chiyo told me to stay inside, so I never saw her. Did she come to your house before?" Hiro asked, confused.

"No, nobody like that ever came to my house. But if we're talking about the same person, then it has to be connected. There's something going on with your dad and my mom too, I'm sure of it."

"I don't know," Hiro admitted. "I even asked Aunt Chiyo, but she claimed to know nothing. Maybe if we go to her together, she might help us. Seeing us together, identical like this, might jog her memory."

"Wow, scaredy-cat Hiro finally has a good idea! Who knew you were capable?" Akie teased.

"Yeah, yeah, tease all you want. But once I find out the connection between my dad and your mom, I'll figure out who's older and who's younger. Then I'll get to tease you back, just like you do to me," Hiro pouted.

"But for now, we need to see Aunt Chiyo. The sooner the better," Akie said seriously.

"But what about school? What if Dad finds out I skipped and gets worried?" Hiro panicked.

"Don't worry, nothing will happen. Come with me!" Akie said, pulling Hiro towards the back exit of the school.

"Now, I'll get a car and we'll both go home, okay?" Akie declared. He flagged down a car by waving his hand.

"But what if something goes wrong?" Hiro continued to worry.

"I told you, nothing will happen. Just come with me," Akie insisted. He got into the car and gave the driver their address.

"Hey kids, where are your parents? Are you lost?" the driver asked.

"No, we're not lost. I know my address perfectly well. Move forward, I'm in a hurry," Akie shouted impatiently. The driver started driving them to their destination.

Hiro remained worried throughout the ride. As soon as they got out in front of his house, Akie pulled him inside again. Chiyo was sitting in front of her laptop, seemingly in a meeting.

"Akie, you're home early?" Chiyo said without looking up. Then, as she raised her eyes, shock appeared on her face as she saw them.

"What on earth is happening? Am I seeing the right thing, or am I hallucinating?" Chiyo said, closing her laptop and getting up from the table to walk towards them. "Aunt, it is Hiro. He is the one who came here in my place." Akie said with a smile.
