13 CHAPTER 13
(Still the same night)
-MC Pov-
Suddenly, the Cullens reappeared.
"Yeah!!! Go get it, man!" Emmett said and ruined the mood. Rosalie slapped him on his shoulder and Alice gave him a death glare. He then said, "S-sorry."
We just laughed it off. Alice and I looked at each other again, causing the Cullens to stop what they were doing.
I encouraged myself and said, "Alice... would you be my girlfriend?" I said while holding her hands.
"YES! YES! DEFINITELY YES! A THOUSAND TIMES YES!" she replied excitedly, and we kissed again.
We parted, and the Cullens just laughed at us. Then Thea and Rosalie hugged Alice in congratulations. Emmett patted my shoulder, and Jasper just nodded and smiled.
"Well, it's already midnight. I think we should head home," Thea said, and the others nodded in agreement. Except Alice, she looked sad.
We headed outside, and I sent them off. Alice was unwilling to be parted from me and insisted on staying, but Thea managed to hold her.
"See you tomorrow, Kael," Emmett said as he and Rosalie drove off.
"Alright, c'mon Alice, we should go," Thea said.
"Nooo!!!" Alice said, but Thea dragged her into the car, and I went to her side and patted her head.
"See you tomorrow, Alice..." I said as I patted her head, and she suddenly kissed me sweetly. After that, she giggled.
"See ya, Kael," Jasper said, and then they drove off.
After that, I entered the house and cleaned everything up. Then, after showering, I went to the rooftop and sat down with a cup of tea in my hand while watching the moon. And I began to lose myself in my thoughts.
I know that my confession to Alice was rather too soon, but it is such a relief, I tell you that much. And I'm aware that if I hold my emotions any further, it will disturb my cultivation. Back when I was in Murim, many cultivators and martial artists failed to reach the next stage because of mental demons. And the reason they got mental demons was that they still had unfinished business, grudges, and pent-up emotions.
I highly doubt that I'll get mental demons in my current state right now, as I have already surpassed what humans can do, and I can still control my emotions. But Alice is different. She has been waiting for this... waiting for me... for her entire life.
*Sigh*
God...what exactly is your gift for me...at first, I thought it was the transmigration again...Then when I met Alice, I thought it was love...Now, after knowing the truth about my parents in this world, I thought it was family...Whatever it is, I will always be grateful for what you've given me all this time...Thank you.
I sip my last drop of tea and then decide to meditate, but I can't focus right now because of what happened tonight, and I can't stop thinking about Alice. So the best way is just to sleep it off, so I went to the bedroom and got a real sleep.

(The Cullen's House)
-Third Pov-
The Cullens are now in the living room and they're talking about everything that happened at Mikael's house to Carlisle and Esme.
"Alice! I'm so happy for you, my dear." Esme hugged Alice, followed by Carlisle.
"Isn't it too early for them? What if he exposes us? We can't risk it." Rosalie said in a concerned tone, and Emmett immediately tried to comfort her.
"Rose...we can't undo what has been done. Besides, Alice has been waiting for this moment her entire life." Carlisle said in a gentle tone.
"Carlisle is right, Rose. She's been waiting for him, and what if she misses her chance and he goes for another person? I know that won't happen, but there are many possibilities." Thea said in agreement and tried to comfort Rosalie too.
"Fine...I'm sorry, Alice. I'm just worried about our safety." Rosalie hugged Alice.
"It's okay, I understand your concern about us," Alice said while smiling.
"But you'll soon have to tell him who we truly are," Rosalie said again.
"I-I know...when the time is right, I'll tell him everything," Alice said.
"I'm sure Alice will be fine, and we are here to support whatever your decision is," Esme said, comforting Alice, and everyone nodded in agreement.
"And what do you guys mean by him being a part of the royal family?" Carlisle asked.
Thea then began explaining about his mother being the younger sister of The Duke of Edinburgh, then about his mother's status after marrying his father, until the assassination of his parents resulting in both of them dead.
"But he said that we should call him the way we called him before and not mind his status. I'm not even sure if his status is real because of his mother's status after she left the royal family." Emmett said, and Rosalie smacked his shoulder.
"His parents were assassinated? Then what about him?" Esme said in a concerned tone.
"I should stay by his side!" Alice said, then proceeded to walk to the door but was stopped by Thea.
"Wait, Alice, you can't act recklessly," Thea said, and everyone nodded in agreement.
"He said that he'll be fine with his 'Butler' and refused to go back with him to England," Rosalie said.
"Jasper?" Carlisle asked Jasper.
"When he heard that his parents were assassinated, I felt a slight anger coming from him, but then it's gone like they were never there before. But when he read the letter from his mother, I felt that he was sad and confused, but then like before, they're gone." Jasper explained to Carlisle.
"Then I guess we should trust him, as we already consider him as our family," Carlisle said, and everyone nodded in agreement except Alice.
"B-but I shouldn't leave him alone!" Alice said in an annoyed tone.
"I know, Alice, but you have to let him rest tonight," Esme said.
"Yes, I'm sure it's a lot for him to take in the information given to him." Carlisle said to Alice, and she just said, "Fine."
"When is he coming back from the Denali?" Emmett asked Carlisle.
"We don't know, and about his mate, we should keep our distance from her as much as possible for now," Carlisle replied, and Esme nodded.

-MC Pov-
I woke up the next day feeling refreshed. I sat on the sofa while enjoying a cup of tea after a nice shower. Then my phone suddenly rang.
*ringtone noises*
"Hello, who is this?" I answered the call and asked.
"It's Emmett," Emmett replied.
"Did you get my number from Alice?" I asked.
"Yes, we got your number and you got our numbers as well," Emmett replied.
"Alright, why do you call?" I asked.
"Me and Jasper will pick you up so hurry up," Emmett replied.
"Sure," I said and ended the call.
I prepared everything and waited at the front. After about 5 minutes, they arrived with the Jeep.
"Sup Kael." Emmett greeted me and Jasper just nodded at me.
"Sup guys." I greeted back and nodded. Then we're off to school.
(At School)
We arrived at the school, and Jasper parked the car in our usual spot. I saw Alice, Rosalie, and Thea still sitting in their car. We got out of the car together, and Alice immediately hugged me while giggling, while the others just chuckled.
"Morning, Kael," Thea greeted me, and Rosalie just nodded.
"Morning, girls," I said, and we started walking to our class.
Along the way, Alice kept clinging to me, receiving weird gazes from other students. I just chuckled and ignored them. After we were far enough, they started gossiping, but I could still hear it, of course.
After Alice reached her class, we parted ways, but she reluctantly let go of my hand. I chuckled at her, and she gave me a pouting face. It's cute, honestly. After about 5 minutes of persuading, she finally let go, and I went to my class.
I entered the class, and oh no... I'm with Bella again. But I quickly sat beside Mike, earning a surprised look from him. I just glared at him, and he went silent. The teacher entered the class and began the lesson. After only about 30 minutes, Mike excused himself to the infirmary. "What a little brat," I thought.
And of course, Bella automatically sat beside me after he left. She started asking questions again, but I ignored her for the entire class. She seemed so pissed right now, but why should I care? Should I care?
Time passed, and it was time for lunch. I walked towards the cafeteria, but I saw Alice waiting for me in front of my class. So we began walking together towards the cafeteria.
After I entered the cafeteria with Alice, the students started gossiping about us again. We looked at each other and just shrugged, then walked towards our usual spot.
We sat down, and Alice leaned on me. The Cullens just smiled at our little interaction, and the students started talking about us, confirming our relationship. So we just chuckled at that. I talked to them about Bella constantly asking me questions, and they told me to just ignore her for now. I nodded in agreement.
Time flew by, and it was time for us to go home. I went back with Jasper and Emmett again. I could see Alice pouting and Thea chuckling.
We arrived at my house and said our goodbyes. I went inside, immediately took a shower, made a cup of tea, and sat in the chair near the big glass window. Then I made a phone call to Robert.
"Yes, your majesty?" Robert immediately answered my call.
"Robert, I already consider you as my family, so please just call me Kael," I said.
"Very well, Master Kael," Robert replied.
"You... Whatever, anyway, Robert, I need your help," I said.
"What happened to you, Master Kael? Did the assassin come after you? I'll be there immediately!" Robert said in a panicked tone.
"Calm down, Robert... I'm fine and nothing happened to me," I calmed him down.
"Thank God. What can I do for you, Master Kael?" Robert said in a relieved tone.
"I need a car," I answered.
"Oh, I think I know where this is going," Robert said teasingly.
"What?" I asked.
"You want to take her on a date," Robert said while giggling.
"How do you know?" I asked in a surprised tone.
"Master Kael... I know from the way you two look at each other. You have the same look as your mother when she met your father. And I know that whoever this girl is, she truly loves you from her heart. I can see it in her eyes," Robert answered.
"Alright, Robert, stop it. Can you do it then?" I laughed a little.
"Of course, Master Kael. And what type of car do you need?" Robert asked.
"Hmm... Let's go with your taste, Robert. I'll let you pick it for me," I answered.
"Very well, it will arrive at your doorstep in a week, and before that, please hold yourself, Master Kael. Hahaha," Robert said teasingly, and I just laughed at that.
"Alright, Robert, thank you so much," I said.
"As always, Master Kael, and please be safe," Robert said.
"You too," I said, then ended the call.
I then went to the rooftop for the night exercises by repeating different sword arts that I've learned throughout my entire life in Murim, from the orthodox and the unorthodox ones. There's a lot that I've stolen, honestly, so I have to get a grasp on them again.
'Hm?'
Around midnight, I noticed a presence coming towards my house, and I knew who it was. So I quickly went down and took another shower. I left the glass door open, then I immediately pretended to sleep.
After about 10 minutes, she arrived at my room, and I could sense her presence and smell. I sensed that she was just sitting at the edge of the bed beside me, and I had to hold my laughter. So the whole night, I didn't sleep because I was holding my laughter the entire night.'
