Chapter 15

-Friday

-Parking lot, after the end of classes.

I walk down the hallway that leads to the parking lot with a very excited Fae by my side, with everyone looking at us at all times and gossiping about us.

A normal occurrence now, but even so, they still pay attention to the two of us, in the same way, they continue gossiping about the Cullens, even though they have been here for a long time.

In a small town, this is something normal to happen, as if we were celebrities to them or something like that. It could also be a reason for them to break away from the daily monotony.

When we get close to my car, which is just a few meters away from the Cullens' cars, today Bella came in her car for the first time, so I parked in a spot closer to the Cullens.

I lean against the back of the car and wave to Emmett, Jasper, and Rosalie who are chatting near their car.

Alice leans against me with her chin on my chest and speaks with a pout: "This moment is always what I least expect when the day begins."

I give her a tender smile and as I pass my right hand through her hair, I say: "Don't worry about that. Tomorrow and Sunday we will spend a lot of time together. That reminds me of something, are you coming straight to my house or should I pick you up?"

Alice's eyes light up with excitement, and she says: "Could you pick me up? I would love that! And I don't know where you live." She internally thinks, 'He also doesn't know the way to my house, so he'll have to come now to learn the route. With that, I'll make him take me to and from home today and every day from now on! That way, I can spend more time with you! I'm so smart! (✿◠‿◠)'

I respond without much thought: "Sure, but I'll need to know the location beforehand. I don't know the way to your house."

Alice says with a smile: "No problem! I'll go with you now and guide you. That way is much better."

I reply with a smile: "That's good. Ever since you mentioned the amazing architecture of your house, I got a bit curious and wanted to see it for myself." I know she wants me to take her home... she's been dropping hints about spending more time with me since yesterday, so I'm aware of her plans... and I don't see any downside to it.

The Cullens, who were conversing, shake their heads ironically upon hearing the conversation between the two, but not surprised since they overheard her plotting aloud in her room about how to get Damian to spend more time with her.

Alice throws her arms up cheerfully and says happily: "Great! Let's go already!" She jumps into the passenger seat and sticks her head out when she realizes I haven't entered yet. She says, "Let's go!" and her dimples show in her bright smile.

I get into the car and say: "Aren't you going to let your siblings know?"

Alice then realizes this and grabs her phone, writes something, and then speaks with a cute smile, "There, now they know."

I nod with a smile and start driving, passing by Bells car where she's with her friends who are looking at her newly painted car as well.

Alice says, "Wow, your work on it is incredible!"

I reply, "It's not the best I can do. I wanted to make it a beast... but my cousin attracts disasters, so my uncle and I agreed to keep it as ordinary as possible."

Alice says in a surprised tone, "That's your ordinary?! It has an amazing engine sound."

I say with a smile, "I only improved its power by about 20%, the rest I added some parts that would give it a nice sound. I even installed an adapter that can make its sound smoother, but Bella surprised me and left it at maximum... I guess she likes to show off having a strong car... maybe it's a family trait."

Alice puts her hand covered by her jacket on her mouth and giggles. She says, "I thought you were exaggerating before when you said she attracts disasters, but yesterday she managed to fall while throwing a ball and still hit the teacher's head."

That makes me laugh. It wasn't even her P.E. class. She just went there with her friends, and the ball fell near her... and when she tried to throw it back, that happened.

Alice speaks shyly after a while of chatting, "Do you think it would be a problem if we go to and from school together?"

I ask in a teasing tone, "Are you asking me to pick you up and drop you off every day?"

She pouts and replies, "Maybe. If you're okay with it, then it's a yes. I'm asking... but if it's a no, then I'm not asking."

I laugh and say, "It would be an honor to do that. So, of course, it's a yes."

She claps her little hands together and swings her legs happily, saying excitedly, "Great! You can't go back on your words, okay?!" She extends her pinky finger and wiggles it towards me.

I respond while hooking my pinky finger with hers, "I never break my word."

Alice tilts her chin up a bit and says, "Of course not, you just pinky promised!" She takes the opportunity to hold my hand while our pinky fingers are connected.

And that... results in the car moving at an average speed since she's holding my hands and I don't have another hand to shift gears.

Confused, after a few minutes while looking happily out the window and playing with my hand, she asks, "Why aren't you speeding up? I thought you liked high speed."

I point, "It's a manual car..."

She realizes and lets go of my hand, embarrassedly saying in a low voice, "Sorry, I forgot."

I shift gears and while giving a command to the Hell Charger to stabilize the car, I release the steering wheel and take her hand, placing her hand on top of mine that's on the gear shift.

I place my hand back on the steering wheel and say, "Now it won't be a problem."

Alice turns slightly and leans against the side as she watches me, and with her free hand, she starts running it through my hair, with a cute smile on her face. She squeezes my hand a bit stronger, intertwining her fingers with mine.

And when our eyes meet, a warm atmosphere forms inside the car as they enjoy this moment together.

After a while, with Alice serving as the GPS, we arrive at her house, and... it's quite nice, but I prefer my own house.

The house is built in a contemporary style, with clean lines and a modern design. It has many large windows that allow natural light to enter.

I get out of the car and open the door for Alice, who steps out with a huge smile on her face and says, "You open the door?! Can you keep doing that? It's such a cute gesture!"

I shrug as I close the door and lean against the car, replying, "My parents always had that kind of gesture. I always found it nice... so I don't see any reason not to do it." I look at the house and say, "It's a very beautiful house. Your mother did a good job."

Alice stands in front of me with her arms extended behind her, fingers interlocked. She says, "She'll be happy to know you liked her work."

I look back at Alice and ask, "By the way, we haven't set the time yet."

She speaks with a cute smile, "I picked 5 movies! So, shall we start early? How about lunchtime? That way, I can also take you to eat."

I speak with a raised eyebrow and a smile, "5 movies? That's going to take a while. It would be even more awesome if they were movies with over two hours of duration?"

Alice looks away a bit guiltily and says with a pout, "They might be..."

I say, "That's fine then. It's been a while since I watched a movie. It will be nice to watch some that you've chosen. So, it should be really good."

She raises her chin proudly, extending a hand with all five fingers raised, "I have a 5-star taste! I'm always the one who picks the movies we watch at home. So, trust me!"

Damian: "What kind of movies?"

Alice: "The first one will be Titanic!"

I say: "Really? That movie is... not very good."

Alice tilts her head a bit and says, "What do you mean? This movie is amazing. Everyone loves it."

I shake my head in disagreement, saying, "I don't like it, neither did my dad and my mom, and... my grandparents didn't like it either."

She widens her eyes and says surprised, "What? It's the most romantic movie in the world?!"

I scratch the back of my head and say, "Are you sure you want to know? I liked it too the first time I watched it, but after it ended, my parents shattered my perspective on this movie."

She thinks for a moment and says, "I... want to know, I wouldn't be able to not know."

I let out a small sigh and start to speak, "It's just that from my family's point of view, that movie is... about a woman who spent her whole life dreaming about a man she had a fling with on a boat, and this woman who spent her whole life dreaming about that man... got married and had kids, you know? Besides, she threw a jewel into the sea instead of selling it and using the money for her own family...

There are other things, but I don't remember them well since I only watched it once, and after my parents told me various facts that ruined the movie for me, I didn't feel like watching it again." (This is just a theory a friend told me, I found it quite funny and decided to use it here.)

(sound of glass shattering in Alice's mind upon hearing the story)

Alice blinks her eyes several times and says funnily, "That... sounds true, your family has a unique point of view."

I speak with a smile, "Yes, they loved analyzing movies and trying to show some point that would destroy the movie."

Two cars speed down the road toward our location. Alice says, "They're here. Do you want to come in for a bit?" She blinks her eyes and pouts.

I mess up her hair and pull her into a hug, saying, "Not today. I should go since it's getting late and Bella must have already arrived at my house."

She sniffs my shirt and lets out a sigh of contentment, saying reluctantly, "I wish I could spend more time with you."

Emmett and Rosalie get out of one of the cars, and Emmett shouts, "You're spending the weekend with him; it looks like our little sister is already addicted and wants to leave!" He bursts into laughter.

Rosalie rolls her eyes at her boyfriend and pulls him inside the house, and Jasper follows after greeting me.

I step back a bit from Alice and say, "See you tomorrow, okay? So don't be sad, and we can spend some time on a call like the past few days."

She speaks a bit sulky and with a pout, "Promise?"

Damian: "I promise," and I kiss her on the cheek.

Alice looks shocked and then a huge smile appears on her face, but she speaks, trying to pretend disappointment, "I'm not a kid; there's a better place to kiss."

I make a thoughtful humming sound and say, "Not today."

She playfully gives me a small tap, and as I start heading towards the driver's side, I say, "Maybe tomorrow."

She lets out a little laugh and says, "See you later, darling. Remember to let me know when you arrive, so I know you're okay, okay?"

Damian: "Okay!"

Alice continues to wave her hands in farewell as Damian's car drives away. She lowers her arms when the car disappears and pouts slightly.

But as she remembers she'll spend the weekend with him, her energy returns with vigor, and she starts trotting back inside the house.

When she enters the living room, everyone is looking at her provocatively. Even Edward, who arrived today, has a more normal expression instead of his usual frustrated one.

Esme: "Looks like you managed to implement the 'spend more time with Damian' plan." She chuckles and hugs me.

Alice lifts her chin proudly and says, "Of course! And now we're dating! The great Alice always succeeds."

Emmett playfully chimes in, "Does he know that?"

Alice scratches her head a little embarrassedly and responds, "Not yet, but he'll know soon!"

This prompts laughter from everyone; it's a quintessential characteristic of this high-energy girl's personality.

Esme stops laughing and asks, "What was he going to say about Titanic? I was busy and didn't hear."

This captures everyone's attention, and with a bit of hesitation, Alice begins telling everyone about the theory that dismantles everything about the movie.

When she finishes, Edward hears a sound like shattering glass in the minds of all family members, including his own.

Rosalie: "It makes sense. I already had my theories about this movie, and I always thought of the girl as a villain. She did some pretty questionable things, like introducing her lover to her fiancé. Did she think that would go smoothly?"

This statement shocks everyone into looking at Rosalie. Emmett, in a humorous tone, says, "My brother-in-law destroyed Titanic, and now my girlfriend. I think you two might get along well and become good friends. You both like cars and tearing apart the movies others enjoy."

Rosalie playfully smacks her husband and says, "Maybe you're not entirely wrong. Maybe this human isn't so bad after all. I approve of him with Alice."

Carlisle: "I must say, these are unique perspectives that have shattered the romance of my wife's favorite movie." He's embracing a saddened Esme, who's looking at a DVD in her hand with the Titanic cover.

Alice speaks in a sweet voice, "Sorry, Esme. I shouldn't have brought it up."

Esme shakes her head and replies with a smile, "No need to apologize. It's a bit frustrating, but it's a reasonable theory and I can accept it."

Just as they were about to continue, Alice's cell phone rings and she rushes off to her room while clutching her phone.

Jasper: "Weren't we going to tell her that we were going to watch that show now?"

Carlisle: "No need, let her spend her time with her partner. Soon, you'll also find your soulmate, and you'll know how incredible it is to be by her side every second." Carlisle speaks affectionately while hugging his wife, who gains a beautiful smile on her face and embraces her husband tightly.

The same scene unfolds with Emmett and Rosalie, who even share a kiss. Jasper and Edward exchange glances and shake their heads in frustration, both wishing for a girlfriend instead of witnessing the couples being romantic in front of them.

Both think:

Jasper: I envy Alice, I haven't even found mine yet.

Edward: I envy Alice, I can't wait to get closer to Bella... maybe I can prove this, maybe Isabella won't see me as a monster?

-----------------------------------------------

So, I'm going to say something about yesterday's "hi" chapter, I know that many may not have understood something well when I say that it is just an "idea" or a "plan" that I have or had, it does not mean that I will use it, I write this fanfic with the best option that comes to my mind at that moment if I am inspired by something I will use it.

But there are times when I'm not writing that I write some "ideals" separately, things that I could use in my fanfic.

So don't worry, I won't use everything I think, there are many things that I had thought about and that should be in the previous chapters, but I didn't put it, because I didn't think it was good or that it would make sense.

About the romance between MC and Alice ... I know that some may find it fast ... but I don't care, I write what I feel I should write, I think I'm doing it the right way given Alice and MC's situation.

"I wasn't born to please everyone, who doesn't like it, fuck it" - words said by my 8-year-old cousin who was rebelling because he couldn't eat pizza...

I don't want you to fuck off, ok? I just thought it was funny.

So sometimes I can talk about ideas, and if I talk about them you can be sure that the chance of it being realized is low because I don't want to contain spoilers.

I found out I have readers! WTF how is it possible for a woman to read this shit? lmao
