Chapter 17): Light'em Up!!

[A/N: Sorry I got writers block which didn't allow me to write much for this Fic, but now that it is unblocked I will be writing for it all week. Soon I will also be posting it on my Buy/meacoffee/flaminglines but that is not immediate.]

The drive to the bonfire was tenser then they usually were with one another in a car, honestly Ryan didn't like the atmosphere at all but he also knew that he was part of the reason it was there, he should have kissed her earlier. That would have solved everything and put an end to her even having thoughts about him liking Rosalie, but he was still playing it safe.

On the inside whatever the wolf inside him was feeling it wasn't pleasant, no his chest felt tight as though his wolf was disapproving of his timid nature, instead it was growling, practically chomping at him to fix this.

The two pulled up to the bonfire with the fire bright and angry in the middle of the beach, the parking spaces were full to the point that some people even parked along the beach, which he needed to do. Teens laughed as they chased one another or danced around to the music, music which was loud enough that he could hear the lyrics clearly from where they were.

Leah moved to get out but Ryan reached across grabbing her arm before she could move, "Ryan what..."

He didn't let her finish as his lips met her, his whole world exploding in on itself as they connected, a soft whimper left her mouth but it was smothered as their lips moved. He cradled her head in his palm, she leaned across bringing them closer together, they got lost into the kiss nothing around them mattering anymore.

Ryan hated that he waited for this, she fit perfectly in his arms and he never wanted her to leave them again, he groaned drawing her across the seats and into his lap. She released a moan as she settled on him, she was just small enough that she fit perfectly into his chest, the steering wheel behind her not a problem.

Her hands roamed his hair as they started kissing more intensely, it went on for a good twenty minutes without them noticing, eventually they had to pull back for air. Leah rested her forehead on his own, their breaths mingled as they panted heavily lips swollen from the passionate kiss.

"Ryan.." she panted eyes searching his own, "What does that kiss mean?"

Ryan searched her eyes then leaned forward kissing her lips lightly again, "I was answering your question to how I felt about Rosalie. She means nothing to me, she isn't you after all. But we can't be anything."

Leah smiled brightly at the beginning but frowned and tried to move from his lap hearing the rest, "Let me go." She said sounded choked up when he wouldn't release her hips.

"Calm down, we can't date right now. I want to ask your father's permission first, unlike how I might appear and act, your parents opinion matter to me. I want them to be okay with it too." Ryan explained while pulling her back into him and laying lightly kisses on her neck making her let out little moans.

"Really?" She asked surprised.

Brushing some hair out of her face he nodded, "Really. You're parents like me, and I don't think they will deny us but I want to make sure, because I want them to continue liking me."

Leah smiled brightly swooping down and connecting their lips again, her hands held his hair tightly pulling it along, he groaned into her kiss biting her lip some when she tried to be more aggressive.

*Bang!*

The both startled Leah hitting the horn as they both looked over at the window, standing there was an excited Seth who had a smile so bright not even the bonfire was that bright. "HELL YES!!!" He shouted looking at their positions, plus he caught them kissing.

Meredith was right there with him barking at the window in excitement, maybe from seeing him but also she might have been happy to about seeing the two of them kissing one another, he couldn't tell.

Leah blushed and buried her head in his neck, she was actually acting shyly when any other time she would have growled and attacked her brother, he found her cute, "Hey Seth, hi Meredith." Ryan said smiling.

"Dude, you were just making out with my sister and all you can say is 'Hey', no man I am going to need more then that." Seth said as he opened the door allowing Leah to slip out and as she did hit her brother in the arm.

Ryan chuckled and stood, "Are you okay with this? Because if you aren't then I will understand."

Seth shook his head, "Are you kidding man?! This is the best thing that could have happened, Sam has nothing on you. You and Leah should have been together the moment you met, it was obvious you liked one another after all."

Leah who was messing with Meredith spring up hands on her hips as she glared at her brother trying to be intimidating, "What do you mean I liked him!? I was obviously crushing on Sam when Ryan first came to town!!"

Seth rolled his eyes not dazed by his sister at all, "Of course you liked Ryan, the moment I saw the two of you together I knew that."

"Why you..." Leah pounced at him causing Seth to laugh running away, "Seth! Get back here!"

Ryan watched as she ran after her brother, Meredith barked at them before she walked over to him, Ryan instinctively felt his eyes flash a bright glowing red, Meredith's own flashing a golden right after. "Hey girl, have you been having fun with the Clearwater family? Huh girl, yes they have, you love them too don't you, such a good girl."

Meredith felt close to him, if he had to guess she had joined his pack which is why he was surprised at what happened next, "Yes they are great Alpha, I love the older female she gives good cuddles. And the playful boy is funny with the girl he is trying to mate. While the father is also a good man, he gives me plenty of fish when he hunts." a gruff feminine voice sounded out in his head

Ryan blinked then blinked again, the voice spoke again as he kept staring at Meredith who was watching him. "Are you trying to mate the best one? Is that why her smell is all over you, is she marking you?" Meredith asked confusedly at him.

That helped him make a little more sense of what was happening at least, "Umm I guess I am trying to mate her. It is slow right now." He answered feeling still a little shocked at being able to understand his dog, who he thinks is his new Beta.

Meredith tilted her dog head but her voice sounded as if she would be nodding, "I see you are claiming her to mate her. I approve alpha, work hard, I now must go get my mate French Fries."

Meredith gave him one last bark before trotting off towards the party, he didn't know what to say to any of that, he just shook his head and got his dip out the back. Maybe he was smoking to much weed sending him into a coma high, this could all just be a dream, but he knew it wasn't true because he has felt pain before in this life.

Sighing he carried the chips along with the dip down to the table, Leah had caught her brother and was at the moment messing up his hair in a headlock, there was the tomboy in her. He only smiled while shaking his head, he liked that about her, it was her real self and she didn't hide it from him made him all the more attracted to her.

That kiss was honestly the best of both his lives, he had never felt anything like it before, and he was hoping that he would have a lot more of those kisses too. Seth might have interrupted what would have been another hot make out, but he was fine with it, he knew or really hoped that he would get a lot more of those later.

He thought though about what Seth said earlier a small smile on his lips as he adjusted his dip, he couldn't help but it think about what had happened the first time they had met, it was purely coincidence. As the light danced across Leah as she let Seth go his mind wandered to that day, looking at her now he smiled when their eyes met.
