POV- Anna Morningstar

Anna looked at her son having fun in the VR system she got him for his birthday. She was happy that Nyx was acting his age for once and playing video games. Anna was in her office watching her son's stream making sure that people behaved in there. She was happy that Rose, her future daughter-in-law, made her Mod in all Nyx's streams. Nyx was so much like his father. He didn't care about what others thought or wanted to deal with people.

Growing up Nyx never asked for toys or anything like that. She always spoiled him. If Nyx ever looked at something twice, she would buy it for him. She wondered if Nyx had mental problems or if something medical wrong with him. When he was younger, she took him to a doctor. But, the doctors wanted to give him medication. He had many mental problems. She was not going to give her baby medication because he is different. She loved her child the way he was and would never want him to change.

She remembered when Nyx first got interested in books and wanted her to teach him how to read. He was so cute back then. He wanted to read history and fantasy books. She was happy that he had Rose. She always supported him and never allowed anyone to bully him in school. She was afraid that he would always be alone in school and have no friends to support him. Rose was like her mother, so open-minded and full of support. She was also like Sky always stood up for what was right no matter what. 

She looked back at the stream seeing so many people like her son and some people hating his class. She felt tempted to call and have people investigate every negative comment. She shook her head at the thought she was being too overprotective as always. She wondered what Zero would think about their son each day. She missed her husband each day and wished the war never happened. After all, he would be home.

She walked out of her office for a moment. The stream was about to get busy. Her son was going to summon his first creature in the game soon. She walked towards her room and went into her closet. She grabbed an old box from the closet and opened it. She found old pictures of the Sky and Emma with her husband Zero and her in them. She looked at the most recent picture of her being pregnant and him standing next to her holding her. She smiled. He looked like Nyx but with beautiful red eyes. They always pierced her heart. 

"Well Honey he looks like you and acts like you but he has both of our kind eyes. You would love to see how our little night sky is doing. It has been 18 years of peace and happiness with our little miracle all because of you. He has a girlfriend now and is very happy. He has someone to support him with all the love you want him to have. He always seems cold, like you. But, he has a big heart, like us. I wish you could see him…"

Anna looked at the picture with tears in her eyes. She missed her husband with all her heart. How he always looked so calm and supported her. How he always patted her head and hugged her whenever she was sad. How his hand would be all on her shoulder always comforting her. Then for a moment she felt a hand on her shoulder and looked behind her. Yet, all that was behind her was nothing. But she smiled at the touch she felt on her shoulder. 

A man dressed in a military uniform with black hair and red eyes. He was standing in front of Anna with a calm expression." I know you worry about me going to war. Yet, know even if I don't make it and something bad happens I will always be with you. Our Little Night Sky is our love, and as long as he is here, I will always be here with you in spirit. I love you, Anna. I will try my best and come home. But, just in case I am not gonna say goodbye to you, only see you later". He walked up to her and kissed one last time, put her hand on her belly and walked away. 

Anna smiled at the memory of the last time she saw her husband. She never remarried because she would only love two people in this world that much. Her late husband and her son carried both their love. She put the pictures back in the old box and saw something else in the box she hated but was proud to see. General Morningstar got a medal of honour. He ended a war that would have caused nuclear armageddon. Many countries were at war for stupid reasons. She hated this medal with a passion. It felt like the government just gave her husband a medal for being a sacrifice. When he was recognized as the Hero of the New Age, she felt proud and sad.

She was proud of her husband for taking a bullet for Sky who she saw as a brother and could never say she would not miss him. Emma felt guilt ever since Zero's death at first and so did Sky. Sky felt that he should have never gone to fight with her husband since he thought he would be alive. Yet, she thought otherwise. Zero would give his life to someone he saw as family. He trusted Sky to take care of her and Nyx.

She walked back into her office. She went back to watching the chat and looking at Nyx's accounts. Rose had given her access to them, which she was happy about. Her son would not even want to deal with advertising or making merch of his summons. She already made a Patreon for him about his streaming. She was already making plans to create merch for each of his summons.

Then she saw the cutest puppy on her son's stream called Snow. She was already calling about merch and getting Rose and her a plushie. Now she wanted to maybe play and get in her son's class. But, she wanted to watch him play and have fun, not make him worry about her in the game. He was always such a sweetheart taking care of his mommy and never complaining at all. She was lucky to have a son like Nyx in her life. 

She switched to watching the stream on her phone. Then, she went downstairs to make them both food and dessert. They always binge-watched shows together and ate dinner. Also, they both loved sweets so she made sure to get some ice cream cake and apple pie. So she messaged her little night that it was time to watch some shows and eat some dinner. Then, after she finished making dinner, she saw her son finally getting off. This stream chat needs to behave though they are getting a bit too much.

"NYX HURRY UP WE NEED TO START WATCHING ONE PIECE! I HEARD IT IS THE BEST PIRATE SERIES EVER!"

She looked at the series online and saw that there were 3000 episodes to watch. This was going to be fun to watch. She always loved anime. Back before the war she used to binge-watch it. She saw her son coming downstairs with a smile on his face."Finally, you are done, let's see what this show is all about."
