A radio channel

Texas.

Dell Diamond Stadium.

This place was a large stadium within the city of Texas, there were some very drastic changes in this large stadium a year after the end of the world began.

After the fall of civilization, the stadium served as the main refuge for Madison and his group, who transformed it into a small community of survivors. Over time, they created some makeshift farms for livestock and growing food, tents around the pentagon where the survivors slept, a greenhouse, a dining hall, and a drinking fountain.

If Airon were in this place, he would think it was adequate and they worked much faster than his group on farming. And even though there were no more than forty people in this place, they managed to make something functional that met all the needs of the people in this shelter.

Also because of the small number of people, this place was chosen as a breakthrough unlike other communities.

At the main gate of the stadium, there were only two guards and that was already considered a lot if you think about the amount of people living in this place.

The patrolling speed and frequency of these two people are very uncoordinated, with at least two thirds of the intersection area, there are many areas that cannot be detected, but this is not too much for them who have not been trained to fulfill this kind of job.

In the box of a VIP room in the stadium, there was a room in which a young woman slept. This room consists of a bed, lamps, and a bedside table.

Right next to the bedside table, there was a radio with a series of numbers that reminded the owner of a very special voice channel.

Ever since she had been forced almost without being given a chance to be the leader of Bloke Jaw Ranch, and though she prospered, she found it very stifling that her decisions depended on the lives of so many people.

In her dreams lately, she had been remembering that very disinterested conversation with a completely unknown man a short time before the military base before Bloke Jaw Ranch was overrun by walkers.

She remembers it, that cold and disinterested tone for what was about to happen next, as if every single word they exchanged had no special purpose other than to kill time. From that point on, she knew that everyone in the world was trying to survive and just when she was about to ask some more questions, she lost communication with that person suddenly and until then she had not been able to talk to that man again.

Hearing the noises outside, the girl named Alicia Clark slowly opened her eyes and immediately sat up in bed looking dreamily at the open space in front of her room.

"It's been a little less than half a year already..."

She raised her head slightly and then saw the radio on the bedside table, not understanding such thoughts she has with someone who is possibly already dead.

Alicia can still remember Airon's words clearly, but the irony of it all is how is he supposed to manage to find her if there are millions of walkers and infinite possibilities that someone of the two or both of them will die by then.

As all these things were going through her mind, she shifted and after her senses awakened, she noticed the people working outside in the shelter.

Alice sighed and then murmured with relief, "At least we've been able to survive in this place for all that time, today is all that really matters."

She then left her room and walked towards the box in search of what needed to be done, as planned, they needed to go out and get supplies as it wasn't good that the stockpile would be depleted for now.

Even if this shelter has crops, they are not enough to satisfy the appetite of all these people and to solve this problem, they need to go out and bring resources back.

Alicia slowly approached a balcony where the whole shelter and the outside could be seen easily, with a slight smile she saw her brother and said, "You got up earlier than usual today..."

"And you slept more than usual..." Whispering softly, Nick's expression was not very dignified, this was the first time since he came to this place that he saw his sister a little different, he knew she had been through a lot and this quiet place is serving her well apparently.

But this time they had to go out for resources again, so he can't help but worry a little about what might happen.

"What are you doing in this place? You seem to be very distracted, is it due to another bad dream?"

Slowly withdrawing his thoughts, Nick turned around and looked at Alicia, who was standing to the side. After all, he had made up his mind to take care of her and his family, which was now the most important thing to him.

"It's nothing important..."

Hearing Nick's question, Alicia smiled slightly and decided not to answer, then pulled out the radio at her waist and looked at the voice channel noted on the back of it.

Nick saw Alicia's movements, so he frowned. He had heard from his sister that there was a repudiation in Atlanta, by words of a complete stranger they had been expanding and securing adequate shelter for many people.

"You don't seem to have gotten that imaginary shelter out of your head, do you really think it's possible they could sustain a shelter in a city? Even the military couldn't do it, life in this place is much better than anywhere."

Knowing what her brother meant, Alicia sighed and said, "If this radio ever gets played, maybe that same person has accomplished great things."

Nick smiled and then pointed out, "First we need to plant more crops and then we'll keep thinking about that shelter your friend mentioned to you over the radio."

"The harvesting party will leave much earlier this time so we'll have time to get back before dark." Alicia didn't pay much attention to Airon either when it came to keeping a clear mind.

There were people and a shelter to take care of, she knew that if she got distracted by other things that were almost impossible to happen they would not advance her or her family in this place.

Knowing how dangerous a resource gathering expedition could become, Alicia would have to meet with the others and carefully discuss how to act next.

At this moment, a meeting was being held to discuss how the expedition should proceed. In a corner of the room, Alicia held a knife and silently looked at everyone while her thoughts continued to dwell on what would happen in the future.

If the opportunity ever arose to meet that person who spoke selflessly with her, she would definitely want to know a little more about him.

"It will all be decided by the future..." Alicia Clark thought with a small smile.
