TVD: The Tribrid Legacy

Following my death, I was convinced that my story had reached its final chapter – game over, if you will. Yet, fate had something truly extraordinary in reserve for me. I was granted a second chance, a rebirth that felt like a cosmic reset button had been pressed. I found myself in a new existence, taking on the role of Bonnie Bennett's older brother. Kevin Williamson Julie Plec, and L. J. Smith. All rights belong to them, except my original Characters.

Chapter 2.3

Waking with a stiff neck, Orion mused to himself, "Breaking necks can be entertaining, but experiencing it isn't."

"Kol, you scoundrel!" Orion exclaimed, springing out of bed and into the living room. "Ah, look who's awake," Kol commented casually. Without warning, Orion unleashed a powerful aneurysm spell on Kol, sending him to the floor. Locking eyes with Kol, Orion warned, "You ever snap my neck again, and you will suffer. Got it?" He intensified the spell, prompting Kol to yell in agreement. Orion released the spell and surveyed the room, meeting the gazes of the Mikaelsons. Freya broke the tension. "You're hot when you're mad."

The tension in the room lingered as Orion's eyes darted between the Mikaelsons, assessing their reactions. Elijah maintained his stoic demeanor, Klaus observed with a hint of amusement, and Rebekah rolled her eyes at the drama.

Kol, still recovering from the magical assault, let out a chuckle. "You've got a flair for the dramatic, mate. But, duly noted—no more neck-snapping theatrics, at least for today."

"As entertaining as it is to witness our sister try to flirt Orion, there's a pressing matter at hand - you need to learn control," Klaus asserted with a hint of impatience.

"I am in control, but those people were beyond rude—outright racist. They hurled words at me that I couldn't tolerate, so I responded kindly. I ripped out their spines and hearts. For others, I drained them dry and satisfied my hunger. They begged and pleaded, but all I heard were their taunts. I've got some anger issues, as do all werewolves. Before I turned, I could control it, but now everything is heightened. My anger, annoyance, apathy—all these emotions vying for control," Orion explained.

Orion's admission hung in the air, the weight of his words settling in the room. The Mikaelsons exchanged glances, a mixture of understanding and concern etched on their faces.

Elijah, ever the diplomat, spoke with a measured tone. "Controlling one's emotions is a challenge we all face, but it is imperative for us to maintain a semblance of humanity despite our supernatural nature. Reacting impulsively only exposes us to unnecessary risks."

Orion nodded, acknowledging the wisdom in Elijah's words. "I know, Elijah, and I'm working on it. It's just hard when every emotion is intensified. It's like a constant battle within me."

"My emotions and I often find ourselves at odds, especially when the world becomes overwhelming—smells, sights, sounds, and more. You, Elijah, were in my position once, and it took you a couple of centuries to figure it out. So, don't tell me my emotions control me. I'd rather let them have their moments than lock them away," Orion declared before swiftly leaving the Mikaelson mansion, disappearing into the night and returning to his abode.

Upon entering his house, a familiar scent greeted Orion. "Grams," he muttered, finding her in the kitchen, brewing tea. "Why didn't you tell me you were here?" Orion inquired.

"Well, baby, you were dead for a few weeks and lost control," Grams replied matter-of-factly. Orion paused for a moment. "Let me guess, Bonnie told you what I did?"

"Yep. Sit down, drink this tea, and tell me how you feel," Grams instructed

Orion took a seat, the scent of the brewing tea wafting through the air, a comforting familiarity amidst the chaos. Grams handed him a cup, her gaze penetrating yet warm.

"Bonnie told me about the struggles you've been facing," Grams began, her tone gentle. "But hearing it from her and seeing the images she showed me are two different things. How are you really feeling, Orion?"

He sipped the tea, its soothing warmth offering a momentary respite. "It's overwhelming, Grams. Every emotion, every sense—it's like they're on overdrive. I want to control it, but it's a constant battle."

And so, Orion opened up to Grams, sharing his emotions and recounting everything that had transpired during her absence. He spoke of the struggles and the confrontations.

Feeling like he needed a breather from the whole Mystic Falls drama, Orion decided to pack up and ship Bonnie and Grams back to Greece for a bit. Methodically packing his belongings, he ensured Bonnie and Grams were sent back to Greece under protective measures. The warnings from Gaia lingered in his mind — the knowledge that adversaries were on the horizon. Despite his status as a tribrid, Orion needed allies, and what better allies than the hybrids he turns himself into? As he was about to enter his car he saw a tuft of blond hair.

"What are you doing here, Freya?" Orion inquired, his raised eyebrow signaling his curiosity.

With a kind yet assertive smile, Freya replied, "I heard about your plans to leave, and I thought it would be prudent for me to join you. Someone must look after your well-being on this journey."

"And why do you think I need your supervision?" Orion asked, a hint of skepticism in his tone.

Freya replied in a gentle yet assertive tone, "Orion, remember I'm not just good at magic, but I'm also great with strategies. And let's be honest, it might get a bit dull without me around," she added, giving him a playful smile.

Freya settled into the passenger seat, making herself comfortable. She then turned to Orion with a playful impatience in her eyes and urged, "Come on, Orion, let's get moving already."

Orion, amused by her eagerness, grinned and started the car. "All right, all right, we're off," he replied, shifting the car into gear. The engine hummed as they began their journey, the road stretching.

Curious, Freya turned to Orion and asked, "So, where exactly are we headed?"

Orion glanced over briefly and replied, "We're going to the woods in Connecticut. I have some hybrids to turn there."

- Mine was The Originals. It has a better plot than Legacies and focuses on the Mikalesons; we learn more about them, which I loved.

_ But I also need a proofreader to double-check chapters, so if you are down, put your discord here, and I'll add you.
