4 Chapter 3

As Henry slowly came to a room he didn't recognize, a persistent headache throbbed in his head. He groaned, recalling Rebekah's swift decision to knock him unconscious. Vengeance was on his mind, but for the moment, he knew he had to deal with the pounding headache first.

Rummaging through his bag, he found some aspirin and downed them with a sip of water. The headache gradually began to ease, allowing him to gather his thoughts and consider his next moves with a clear mind.

Henry wasted no time after alleviating his headache. He left the room and found Elijah, Rebekah, Klaus, and Hayley gathered for breakfast. Klaus's smirk and comment about his awakening irritated him to the core. Without hesitation, Henry used his magic to make Klaus choke, ignoring Elijah's plea to stop.

Elijah looked at Henry and urged him, "Stop."

But Henry was resolute. He looked at Elijah defiantly and retorted, "You're not in charge of me, and don't tell me what to do. Got it?" Only then did he release Klaus from his magical grip, Snapping Elijah's neck.

But Henry wasn't finished. In a swift and assertive move, he grabbed Rebekah by the back of her head, getting a firm grip on her hair, and forcefully smashed her face onto the table, hearing a painful crunch.

"Think twice before messing with me," he warned as he snapped her neck with a cold determination. Then, addressing the rest of the table, he stated firmly, "There we go. Don't knock me out; we won't have a problem." His actions made it clear that he wouldn't be pushed around.

Hayley rushed to Rebekah's side, her voice filled with anger as she confronted Henry. "Why did you do that?" she yelled at him.

Henry's response was unwavering. "Are you deaf or dumb?" he retorted. "She knocked me out, and they," he pointed at Klaus and Elijah, "brought me here against my will. Also, I'm not one to be trifled with, so think twice before messing with me. I don't care if you're pregnant."

Seething angrily, Klaus grabbed Henry by the collar and delivered a stern warning. "You do not attack and threaten my family or the woman pregnant with your sibling."

Henry's response was nonchalant and callous. "I don't consider that thing growing inside the werewolf slut my sibling," he replied

Henry merely smiled in response. "Don't worry. If you all stay out of my way, we won't have a problem."

With that, Henry siphoned Klaus painfully, causing him to collapse. He snapped Klaus's neck, leaving Hayley alone with their unconscious bodies.

"I'm heading out. I'll be back by the end of tonight," he informed Hayley before exiting, leaving behind a chaotic scene.

—------------

Henry, determined to keep a low profile and avoid unwanted confrontations, cast an invisibility and a protection spell on himself. He knew that using his magic could draw unwanted attention from Marcel and his allies, and he had no intention of putting himself in harm's way.

Henry wandered through the Quarter, trying to pass the time and keep a low profile. Boredom eventually led him to venture into the bayou, where he stumbled upon an injured wolf. As he approached, he noticed a faint glow in the wolf's eyes, indicating that it was a werewolf.

"Strange, you're not supposed to sense me," Henry remarked, making himself visible to the wary wolf. He crouched to meet the wolf's gaze, filled with caution and a hint of aggression.

Henry carefully examined the wolf's injuries but realized they were too severe. He decided to try an experiment. Using a sharp rock, he cut his palm, allowing his blood to pool. He immobilized the wolf with a touch of magic and fed it to him, attempting to make his first hybrid.

However, despite the blood healing the wolf's body, it ultimately succumbed to its injuries and died.

As the life left the wolf's body, it shifted back into human form, revealing a young man who appeared to be in his 17ish.

After about 15 minutes, Henry gave him a few minutes to adjust as he gasped awake. "Welcome to the world of the undead," Henry said casually.

"I'm a vampire," the young man asked, confused.

"No, darling, you're a hybrid," Henry corrected, "You are not a vampire burned by the sun, nor a werewolf beholden to the moon – a hybrid.

"Now, you've got two choices," Henry said, maintaining a relaxed tone. "And what's your name?" he asked.

The man replied, "Liam Paxton."

"Well, Liam," Henry continued, "you've got two options: either don't drink my blood and live your amazing hybrid life, or dont and die and end up on the other side; choice is on you."

Liam contemplated Henry's words, the weight of his new reality sinking in. After a moment of reflection, he made his decision. "I want to live," he declared with determination.

"Why did you end up here injured?" Henry asked concern etched across his face.

His eyes filled with memories of the night, Liam hesitated momentarily before responding. "My pack lived on the edge of the quarter," he began, his voice tinged with fear and determination. "We got attacked by vampires. I managed to fight a couple off and run, but I was too injured."

Liam's eyes were determined. "And I want revenge. Those vampires won't get away with what they did to my pack."

Henry nodded in approval, understanding Liam's desire for revenge and a new lease on life. He extended his wrist and allowed Liam to drink some of his blood, sealing the transition.

While doing so, Henry whispered a spell under his breath, ensuring Liam's loyalty and unbreakable sire bond. "Fidelem manere, nullas sire lineas praevari cationem," the enchanted quietly, ensuring that Laim couldn't break his sire bond.

With the bond sealed and Laim's transformation complete, Henry helped him to his feet. "Welcome to your new life," Henry said, offering Liam a reassuring smile. "But remember, as a hybrid, you'll need to learn to control your new abilities. It won't be easy, but I'll help you to the best of my ability."

Liam nodded, determined to seek revenge on those who attacked him, still burning in his eyes. "Thank you for saving me," he said to Henry.

Henry shrugged it off with a casual grin. "No problem. Just pay it forward someday when you have the chance."

"Let's go to my place. You need to be clean, and I have a couple of things to give you," Henry said, casting an invisibility spell on him and Liam.

—--------

Henry had sneaked Liam back into the house while everyone was gone, allowing him to shower and attend to his needs. During this time, Henry decided to familiarize himself with the house. While exploring, I entered the basement and found a silver dagger. Recognizing the potential usefulness of such a weapon, he took it as a precaution in case he found himself in a hostile situation with Elijah or Rebekah.

Henry returned to his room, silver dagger in hand, and skillfully cloaked it using his magical abilities. He was determined to keep it hidden from Klaus or any of his siblings who might enter the room.

Additionally, he cast a spell on a necklace, imbuing it with the power to conceal Liam's hybrid status and grant him better control over his bloodlust. It was a precautionary measure to ensure their safety. He also doesn't want it to bite him back in the ass.

Liam emerged from the restroom, fully dressed in the clothes Henry had provided. Henry laid down some ground rules for surviving in New Orleans as they settled in. He made it clear: no harming children, and when it came to feeding, the method of choice was "snatch, eat, erase." The aim was to avoid killing and leaving behind bodies that must be dealt with.

Henry continued to explain the rules to Liam, emphasizing the importance of discretion and minimizing their impact on the human population.

"We need to blend in, Liam," he said. "The last thing we want is to draw unnecessary attention or make enemies in this town."

Liam nodded, understanding the necessity of these rules for their survival.

Henry's curiosity improved, and he couldn't help but ask Liam, "So, explain to me why I found you near death?"

Liam hesitated for a moment before deciding to share his story. "I was part of a pack near the quarter," he began. "We got word that a group of vampires had moved into our territory. We confronted them, but it turned into a brutal fight. I was outnumbered and nearly killed. That's when you found me."

"Oh, interesting. Is there a specific number of vampires you want dead or just one?" Henry asked

Liam pondered the question for a moment. "I don't have a specific number in mind," he replied. "But those vampires who attacked my pack and nearly killed me are on my list. I want them dead."

Henry understood Liam's desire for vengeance, as he had harbored similar feelings towards those who wronged him. "We'll have to be careful," Henry warned.

As Henry and Liam discussed their plans for dealing with the vampires who had attacked Liam's pack, their discussion was abruptly interrupted by the sound of the front door downstairs opening. Henry's heightened senses immediately went on high alert, signaling the return of his "family."

Henry looked at Liam with a sense of urgency. "My family is back," he said in a hushed tone. "We need to be careful and stay out of sight. They don't know you're here, and it's better to keep it that way for now."

Liam nodded in understanding, and the two of them quickly moved to a concealed spot in the room,

  —----------------

"Hello, Father, Aunt,Uncle, and werewolf slut" Henry said with a smirk and sarcastic tone.

Henry's words sliced through the tense atmosphere in the living room like a blade. The Mikaelsons turned to see him standing at the top of the staircase, his smirk and biting tone making it clear he had no intention of being polite.

With his infamous short fuse, Klaus was the first to respond, his anger flaring. " What is it you want, Boy?"

Elijah stepped forward, attempting to maintain some semblance of civility. " This isn't the time for insults."

Rebekah exchanged a surprised glance with Hayley, clearly taken aback by Henry's audacity. Though irritated by the insult, Hayley remained silent for the moment, keeping her composure.

"I have a deal to make with you," Henry said

As they gathered in the Living room,  Niklaus couldn't resist commenting, "You've got some nerve," he said, his voice low and menacing. "But go on, entertain us. What kind of deal are you proposing?"

Henry nodded in acknowledgment of their presence, his tone more serious now. "I've been thinking, and we can help each other. You want to know about the teenage witch Marcel is hiding, and I hear she erased Rebekah's memories of her."

As Henry walked downstairs, Rebekah attacked him for what he did to her at breakfast.

Unfazed by Rebekah's attack, Henry merely responded with a smirk and a sarcastic tone, "Careful, Aunty Bex. You wouldn't want to harm your only nephew, would you?" His words dripped with a mix of sarcasm and mockery.

As Rebekah's anger boiled over,. "You're just like him, a bloody asshole!" she shouted, her voice filled with anger.

Henry, unfazed by her attack, responded with a smirk. "I know I am, but you attacked me again,, so "Ossox," chanted calmly, invoking his magic. In her furious charge, Rebekah suddenly fell to the floor with a broken neck., silenced by Henry's spell.

With Rebekah incapacitated, Henry calmly addressed the rest of the Mikaelson family. "I told her, and I told you: attack me, and you end up with a broken neck."

His tone was even, and his gaze shifted from one family member to another, making it clear that he wouldn't tolerate any further aggression.

—-----------

Henry laid out his proposal to the Mikaelsons. "I heard that Marcel had his witch erase Rebekah's memory of her location. In exchange for Esther's grimoire, I'll remove the spell on Rebekah, allowing her to remember the location of the witch Marcel is desperately trying to hide."

He fixed his gaze on Niklaus, awaiting his response. "So, what do you say? Take it or leave it."

Niklaus exchanged a contemplative look with his siblings, and a tense silence hung in the room. After a moment, Niklaus finally spoke, his tone measured. "You're offering quite the deal, Henry. But what guarantee do we have that you'll hold up your end of the bargain? And how did you hear of this anyway?"

Henry leaned back in his chair, his expression calm. "Witches talk, and I happened to overhear a couple of Marcel's inner vampires who couldn't keep their mouths shut. What you can learn is amazing if you're in the right place at the right time."

Henry didn't flinch at the question. "I'll keep my word, but once the spell is removed that's blocking Rebekah's memory, I expect you to hand over Esther's grimoire. It's a mutual exchange of trust."

Elijah, always the diplomat, intervened, "Let's not make any hasty decisions. We need time to consider the implications of this offer."

Henry nodded. "Take your time, but remember, the offer won't last long. You have till tonight to decide, or you know.."
