The originals

It's been two months since I have arrived back In my fathers empire, he has been keeping his rein over his people in this time while I have been training. By keeping his rein I really mean killing every shaman that played a part in the failed attempt on his life, he even killed their families, friends, and animals it was a nice touch.

About a week ago I astral projected to the forest with the help of Arban, they are doing surprisingly well over there, Elaine even told me the forest will always welcome me, it was a nice gesture but, it's not like they could keep me out of it.

Currently, I stood on the training ground I was surrounded by soldiers each had a bow with an arrow knocked back pointing at me, I'm trying to train the senses I have been feeling.

I looked around and closed my eyes, *swoooosh* I could hear the arrows soar through the air, I dodged some solely based on my hearing but, there were some I could just feel like I knew where they were and how to dodge them.

*shick* I opened my eyes to see an arrow in my chest, I pulled it out and saw the wound instantly heal.

I nodded again and they knocked back more arrows. The training continued for hours.

After my training, I went back to my room, I needed to drink and strategize, I will live forever as it seems and I need to make long-term goals, my first goal of unifying the mystical world will take years to complete so I have to find the best representatives I can. Ezra will be part of the council Elaine as well, father will be the council member for the berserkers, I for the humans, Ezra for the wolves, Elaine for the fairies, and Han for the sorcerers though the overall living situation in the forest would have to differ.

As I was planning, I listened to the soft melodic sound of a flute being played, I missed this music during my travels I missed this and the training grounds the most.

Gazing out of my window I saw the moon was at its peak, I decided to close the book I was writing in and head to bed, taking one last glance at the page I was working on about demons I finally snapped the book shut and laid down for the night.

As Taban was planning his way to the top, The Mikaelsons were heading in his direction, Rebekah, Elijah, Niklaus, and Kol Mikaelson the original vampires also known as the strongest vampires and the original family. Kol was very nervous as he and his family approached Asia, he might have been too convincing about how amazing Asia was his whole family wanted to go and he couldn't lie and say he didn't want to after he just told them how Asia was his favorite place.

He tried as long as he could to drag the trip our but his family was too brash and pulled him along, pulled him to his worst nightmare.

Kol could swear he could still hear the laughs of the two Khans lingering around him like a curse, he didn't know why they instilled such deep fear into him when he has killed so many.

He would later realize it was because he couldn't fathom two beings that weren't Demons or later known as Vampires being able to commit such acts with boisterous laughter and glee as they did it.

Niklaus turned to his siblings and said, "Shall we visit this Mongol empire? It seems fun maybe we can find a good meal,"

Instant dread filled Kol but before he could respond Rebekah said with a pleasant smile, "that would be great brother,"

Elijah smiled at the sibling's comradery and replied, "I agree,"

They turned to look at Kol as he said, "maybe not that area, I didn't visit it last time but I heard some things about the emperor there," he tried to change their minds by saying this but it had the adverse effect

"Eh? Maybe we can help out the people then," Niklaus said with a devilish smirk

More dread than ever filled Kol, he knew Niklaus really meant they will kill and feed on his people to draw the emperor out and then kill him but, that won't work on that monster.

Kol went to say more but his siblings already sped off in the direction of the Mongol Empire, he rolled his eyes and thought, 'yeah no one listen to me I will mind my own business and maybe have some fun'

-Taban pov -

I looked at the head of the table, father sat there eating with no care in the world while I sat here trying not to kill one of my siblings, I never had a family dinner before but I don't think siblings shooting me glares while probably plotting my death is apart of them.

A servant filled my drink once more, I took a large swig of it and began to eat once more ignoring the looks of my siblings. I noticed when I took the drink some type of poison was in it, it was pathetic actually how stupid some people are.

"Servant," I called out before he could leave

I saw him freeze in his place, he slowly turned around to face me, "yes sir?" he asked amicably

"Who ordered you to serve me that drink?" I asked while making a hand motion to beckon him closer

He slowly approached me he looked nervous and scared, "don't worry, I won't kill you it is not your fault just tell me," I said gently

He seemed to relax before saying, "I don't know young master, I just saw my last pitcher was empty and grabbed another,"

I could hear his heart beating faster and faster, "oh is that so?" I asked gently

"Yes young master I'm sorry I couldn't be of more use," he replied

"Oh it's fine," I replied with a smile before launching my hand forward and plunging it into his chest *shickkk* I pulled out his heart blood poured onto the ground and some got onto the table, and even my food

The servant's eyes shown with disbelief as he collapsed onto the ground, I turned back to the table heart in hand.

Chucking a bit I said, "haha, you know Tolui you are rather stupid, I can heal instantly yet you try to poison me? The Khan bloodline failed with you," at the same time I threw the heart onto his plate and began to eat again

I don't know how I knew it was him but I did I could feel it.

"The bloodline failed with me! You are a human, you don't deserve to sit at this table and eat our food!" he yelled at me

I smiled at him and replied, "a berserker and yet you can't compare to me a human? Pathetic Tolui truly pathetic, I should kill you now but, seeing as we are family I will give you a warning, Stay. Out. Of. My. Way." I said coldly at the end

Surprisingly he backed off, and the rest of my family seemed to move a little ways away from me, that's odd my words weren't that scary.

They looked at me like I was a monster, I even saw one of the servants trip over himself while trying to get away from me.

I shrugged my shoulders and began to eat again, they were acting strange but, that won't stop me from eating my food.

Soon dinner finished and everyone left the room, only father and I stayed. Father looked at me with a gaze I couldn't quite pin.

He said blandly, "why didn't you kill him?"

I looked at him and replied calmly, "why kill him in close quarters when I can kill him in front of many more?"

He seemed to understand what I meant and nodded, "what was that you did just now?" he asked with his left brow slightly risen which means he actually wants to know and isn't just asking for the sake of it

"That's what I also want to know, I just said a few words, and everyone acted like I was a monster," I replied taking another gulp from my poisoned drink

His brows settled down and he said, "figure it out, it could be a valuable weapon to have in the future,"

"Well, what did I do?" I asked

"I'm not sure but, it was almost as if I was in a pool of scorching hot but ice cold blood drowning with no escape while a monster with your eyes watched me," he said which surprised me because he actually talked that much

Funnily enough, he described a horrifying experience like it was the weather, and when it happened he didn't even flinch, I guess there is still a lot I need to catch up on.

[four day's later]

I was awoken by a knock on my door then said door being rudely opened. Amun walked in and indifferently gazed at me.

"Some Demons are in the capital," he said with a wide smile

"Oh? Well let's have some fun,"

"Afraid it would just be you," Amun replied with a sad gaze

"Why?" I asked confused

"Your father said he wants this situation to play out," Amun replied with a complicated gaze

Situation? So it's more complicated than it seems, and has something to do with me. Interesting.

-end-

A/N: they never address it in the show (at least from what I remember) but I am going on the core principle that only white oak can kill the originals, so decapitation and their hearts being pulled out will not kill them.
