27 Death is just the Beginning....

Taban turned back to look at the group before him, a smile etched onto his face. His eyes were predatory as he looked at his remaining captives.

"It's annoying you know? If I kill you all the whole vampire race would be killed off as well," Taban said with a wistful tone

"Then don't kill us, simple as that," Klaus said with a cheeky smile

"Hm, maybe I will spare you, maybe not," Taban said walking calmly toward them

"Please just let me go! I didn't do anything," Elena pleaded

"Let us go! We didn't do anything!" Caroline corrected

Sheriff Forbes just stayed silent like she was trying to come up with a plea bargain, she seriously was out of her depth.

Taban ignored them and approached the Originals, bending down right in front of Klaus he smiled and said, "Pick one, pick a sibling for me to kill,"

Klaus spat on his face and replied, "no," his tone was like a low growl

"Pick one Klaus, pick one, and ill spare the rest," Taban said wiping off the spit on his face

"NO!" Klaus growled vamping out his fangs elongated and the veins around his eyes became visible

Like an arrow leaving a bow Taban's hands shot out and gripped Klaus's mouth opening it wide, Taban fixed his grip rapidly so only one hand was keeping Klaus's jaw open. His other hand reached into the Hybrids moth and grabbed a fang, "I learned a pain worse than vervain is defanging a vampire," Taban spoke cruelly while yanking his hand *cacha!* Klaus's top left fang was ripped from his mouth

"GAHHH!" Klaus howled in pain his voice was muffled by Taban's hand

Taban moved to the next fang, "ready to choose?" he asked with what sounded like hope that Kalus would deny him

"Huck youuu," Klaus replied

"Suit yourself," Taban replied before tearing out another fang

"GAHHHHH!" Klaus screamed in pain

"Stop it! Stop it!" Rebekah screamed at Taban

"Taban I implore you to stop this madness!" Elijah added his voice sounded desperate

"He won't choose Taban, stop!" Kol yelled in anger and frustration he felt hopeless, powerless, and pathetic

"No, he will choose!" Taban growled and pulled yet again

"GAHHHH!" Klaus screamed in pure agony

"Last one Klaus choose," Taban said once more

"ME!" Klaus growled

"Sorry, not an option that pesky sire bond is still in effect," Taban replied with an easy-going smile

"Why Taban? We killed your friend but isn't this too much?" Elijah said with sadness

Taban swiftly tore out Klaus's last fang and dropped him to the ground, "too much? Elijah, you have killed thousands just because they threatened your family, you actually killed one of mine, and you ask if this is too much? The hypocrisy you show is truly something I would expect of your family." Taban said shaking his head

*clap!* "well since Klaus won't choose even if I torture him let's try a different method," Taban said clapping his hands together

Suddenly a man was in front of the group, he wore a very nice suit and a Monocle. He grinned at all of the captives.

"Greetings I am Jack, you may know me as Jack the ripper," He announced himself with grace

"Jack," Rebekah said softly

"Rebekah, it's a pleasure to see you again. Remember when you turned me and then left me? You said you loved me then discarded me," Jack said calmly his gaze was steady as he looked upon his sire

"Now you are vulnerable and weak," Jack added then sped forward

*shickkkk* the sound of flesh being cut riveted throughout the air

"Ahhh!" Rebekah screamed in pain a large gash was cut across her stomach

"See this? A blade forged with the sole purpose of causing the most amount of pain, I even coated it in extremely potent Vervain," Jack said as he appreciated his own blade

Rebekah went to speak but was cut off by Jack slashing her stomach once more, this cut ran perfectly between her ribs, "AHHHHH!" she screamed in pain

"Niklaus will you still not choose?" I asked with a small smile

"I refuse," Klaus said as he looked at the floor his mouth continued to drip with blood

Taking out a Syringe Jack proceeded to tap it twice for good measure, "now this is going to be painful, this first one will be pure concentrated vervain and I will inject it into your bloodstream, the pain will cause your body to shut down, that is what this next syringe is for it will keep you awake," he said with a twisted smile

"Rebekah for what it's worth I still hold feelings for you," Jack said in a sad tone

"Then why? If you still love me why are you doing this?!" Rebekah said through gritted teeth

"Feelings of hatred that is~" Jack added in a sing-song tone while injecting the Vervain

*shooom* "AHHHHHHHHHAAAA!" Rebekah screamed and thrashed in pain

Holding her down Jack then injected the next syringe that would keep her awake.

"Still not choosing?" Taban asked wiggling his brows

"P-lease j-ust choose!" Rebekah said in pain

"Yeah choose her she is the one that wants you to," Kol said

"How can you ask this of me!" Klaus roared in anger

"Nik just choose me," Rebekah panted

"No, now and forever remember! NOW AND FOREVER!" Klaus yelled in fury tears were streaming down his face

"*scoff* not like that ever included me," Kol said softly but everyone could hear him

Bad move on his part.

"Yeah, you're right, kill Kol, please just get it over with," Klaus said looking away from his family

"What? WHAT! YOU BASTARD!" Kol yelled as he thrashed about

"Klaus how could you?" Elijah said in disbelief

"Nik?" Rebekah said softly as if she didn't just beg him to choose

"Well only if you say so... Not my choice," Taban said waving his hand as if he had nothing to do with this whole thing

He walked over to Kol and took out a white oak stake, in one swift move Taban drove the stake into Kol's heart, then Kol began to turn into dust just as he was about to die forever he heard Taban say, "remember Kol death is just the beginning of your nightmare," his tone was cold but intense

I'm sorry for the short as fuck chapter, I literally scrwed myself over, this ff was a creative outlet to get me out of my writer's block for my other stories. And now I'm torn because I love writing this story but I'm putting it in a prime position for an ending. I was so caught up in Taban's badassery I didn't notice the whole ending all main characters' part 💀. Yes, I planned for the future of the story but I kinda got lost in the moment, and now realize for them to escape heavy plot armor will be needed. My concern is it might get boring. Had a whole plotline with Dhalia planned but I got to lost in the sauce as some might say.

So I'm going to leave it up to my readers.

1. kill all Originals and end the story with a time skip to the future (sire bond broken)

2. Leave all originals alive but Kol and Finn, then do the originals plot. (I feel like this might be out if character for the mc. A time skip will be involved)

3. Option 2 but he leaves world then comes back for the originals

4 option one and he leaves world.

And if an off-world option is chosen know it will only be one world. I won't have him continuously hop worlds.
