21 Psychology 103 Finals

I arrived at the grill on my car and on my way I saw some decorations outside the place and it seemed odd to me. I got out of my car and went inside the place. The place was filled and I looked around and found Bonnie in the corner sitting by herself in the booth. A waitress came and it was Wendy, "A beer and a cheesy nachos. I'll be over there." She nodded and I walked to the booth.

She looked up and saw me and I asked, "Took you long enough." I sat down and she looked at me and then to the sides and leaned over and said in a hush tone, "Why didn't you tell me?"

I squinted and she rolled her eyes and said, "That… you're you know… a vampire?"

I nodded and hummed, "You didn't tell me that you were a witch?" She looked at me seriously and I said, "I didn't want to ruin my chances with you… In all honesty I find you very comforting."

She banged her hand on the table gently and said, "Stop that… this is serious."

"I am."

"Why?" She questioned and looked at me so seriously. "Why me?"

I shrugged my shoulders and she looked at me like I was crazy and said, "I need a better answer than ugh." she mokingly shrugged her shoulders.

I sighed and looked at her she still doesn't understand this even though its so simple, "Bonnie, there isn't a whole scheme in my head as to why I did what I did. And I understand that it's hard for you to believe since your grams might have filled your head with the stereotypes of vampires and Im not saying that those aren't true."

She lost me way ahead and I leaned in and said, "Instead of asking me why? Have you asked yourself?"

She looked confused and I looked at her pressuring her to answer, "You looked good… I was attracted to you and there were these dreams that I had about you."

I tilted my head and she suddenly stopped to look at me and said, "Not those dreams… Not entirely." Even though she thought she said that last part very subtly I still heard it and it did made me smile a little.

"I want to make sense of this. None of it makes any sense. Why did you come to me? Why did you talked to me? What was all that?"

I scratched my head as it was getting a little difficult and annoying to explain everything to her and I said, "Listen Bonnie… I understand if you don't want to pursue this… and I understand it I do. But there wasn't any hidden meaning behind why I chose you. I mean why wouldn't I?" She was looking at me stunned and I said, "It was just luck, chance or fate, but the point is… we aren't as special as we think. So instead of asking and questioning why? You should have asked why not?"

She looked disbelieved and I think I kinda pooched the landing on the last bit and said, "Fine… so, here is my other question: why are you here?"

"Why is everyone so obsessed about that? Can't they be happy that I'm here?"

"When a guy named Witch Eater rolls into town… No."

I looked at her and she looked pissed off somehow and I don't think it was an appropriate response and I said, "You kill a few witches and you get marked for life."

"You killed people?"

She looked shocked and I looked at her unbothered, "Yeah, but they weren't technically people."

"You murdered innocent people?"

"They weren't entirely innocent… They killed people from my coven and started a war with me. If you can't beat me, then don't fuck with me. It's easy as that."

She looked at me absolutely horrified and I said, "Look, you are new to this world Bonnie and I understand that what I'm saying sounds absolutely ridiculous to you. But the truth is there are far more people like me and a few that are more dangerous than me. Kill, maim and torture is nothing to them."

I tried to comfort her but she wasn't ready for it and said, "I can't believe you… this can't be true."

"It is Bonnie and I could have lied and kept it from you. But you are important… you are a witch of this town and that means that you'll have to protect it's people from monsters like me…"

"What?"

"Yes, this town is far more important than you realise… there are people that are in deep slumber waiting to be awoken… and that's why I want you to know, that I want to have a good relationship with you."

"What?"

"Can you say something else it's getting a bit repetitive." She didn't look entertained and I said, "I'm going to stay here for a while and I can assure you that while I'm here no one in this town would be hurt by my family… in exchange I hope we can cooperate with each other?"

"What do you mean?"

I sighed and rubbed my face and said, "What I mean is I'll help control my brothers in exchange you help me with some stuff."

She squinted and looked at me "What kind of stuff?"

I looked around and said, "You know Vicki?"

Her eyes widened and I nodded, "She's been turned and I would need a daylight ring for her."

She looked at me and said, "What's a daylight ring?"

"Your grandma didn't give you the witch's recipe book?"

"No… we didn't get to that part. I wanted to talk to you so I kinda snuck out."

I smiled and said, "Well, not to worry I can get you the recipe for the ring… so we have a deal?"

She looked at me for a good minute and shook her head, "I came here to get the truth and after knowing what you are… I can't help you."

I sighed and nodded, "Fair… I'll get it from somewhere else." I got up and said, "It would have been nice to work with you Bonnie, but it seems this is as far as we go."

I reached out to her with my hand and she reluctantly shook it and I said, "I hope you do better than Emily… cause I would hate it if I have to do what I'm known for." I left with a smile leaving her distraught.

Hey guys I hope you liked the chapter; this was supposed to come out yesterday but I kinda fell asleep. That's also the reason why it's kinda small as well. But the next chapter will be bigger Im still trying to figure out how to make Vicki escape so if anyone can give some suggestions, I'd love it. Thanks guys and I'll see you in the next chapter.
