chapter 1- The Gods

( 'XXXX' when a person is thinking; "XXXX" when a person is talking out loud)

3rd person POV

In a room stood a woman and a man around the age of 40 they had moderate facial features the women had red hair and the man had black hair

"honey, how are we going to tell him about this, we don't know how he'll act"

"I know, I know but we can't keep it a secret forever he'll eventually find out so it's better to tell him now"

in the women's hand were adoption papers, behind the door of the room stood our main character he had been listening to the conversation for a while he did not expect this, while he was crying, he was thinking about how they offered him everything when they had not a lot of money, they had happy moments they laughed together and cried together

'so what I may not be their biological son but they had offered me a good and happy life that's enough for me'

"but dear what if he asks where did we find him what do we say, he may want to find his real parents, we can't just tell him that we forgot how"

"yes, your right every time we tried to remember we get a headache, the doctors don't even know why"

"we'll just have to tell him he was-"

the door of the room was opening slowly

"mom, dad it's alright I already know"

"Cain what do you-"

"mom it's okay I still love you guys and still think of you like family"

"Cain"

muffled sound"mom dad what are you-"

in a room stood three people hugging each other

this was all happening before they had decided to go on a trip after the end of a pandemic as they hadn't left this house in a long time

in a car where three people talked and laughed started parking, the people that got out of the car were a boy around the age of fifteen and what seemed like his parents, the boy always had good senses and when he heard the sound of a car speeding up and drifting he looked in its direction he saw it coming towards them and pushed his parents out of the way, he jumped to dodge the oncoming car and when he turned around he saw a really expensive car on fire, while the driver inside was unconscious

cain clicked his tongue "tsk, annoying"

after that, he started running towards the car while everybody away from it, people were screaming and running

cain's mom screamed as she saw him run"cain what are you doing stop"

he picked up the driver and inside saw bottles of alcohol as he felt the heat intensify he threw the driver out he then glanced at the back seat and saw a baby, clicking his tongue again he saw his father dragging the unconscious man back, he grabbed the basket and as the car was about to explode he knew that if he couldn't make it he would at least have this child live he quickly strapped the child to the basket, he looked at him mom and when she stared in to his eyes she knew what that meant he threw the basket towards his father who had finished getting the man to safety and shouted

"dad take care of mom"

"NOOOO CAIN"

he murmured"I love you and thank you for everything "

and after that, the car exploded with cain next to it

and on the 23rd of February 2021,15-year-old Cain Black passed away as a hero who saved two lives and died because of a drunkard

When Cain woke up he felt nothing and when he tried to focus

"it's not that I feel nothing no, it's that I feel everything"

and when he did he felt an unbearable amount of pain he had never felt anything like this.

a few hours later

"why isn't it stopping what the hell is this pain"

cain thought that as time went on it would stop but It didn't it only increased instead

after some time cain didn't know how much time passed but it felt like years, he had stopped screaming from exhaustion, he was hungry and thirsty he didn't know where he was, and then the space he was in suddenly turned white and all the pain disappeared he started looking around and saw two people sitting next to each other they were both looking at cain with a bit of a surprised face

"Who are you and where am i" cain said

the women spoke she was really beautiful she had yellow colored hair hazel eyes and god-like facial features

"I did not expect him to arrive this early"

then the man next to her who had black hair and black eyes and chiseled face aswell said

"hmm, indeed"

cain shouted with an angry and confused tone

"WHO ARE YOU AND WHERE AM I"

he was mad that the people in front of him did not answer his question

"now now no need to shout"the man said

"I think you already know where we are I mean you used to watch and read about this, I think it was anime that's what they called it"

"oi oi oi oi, no way don't tell me-"

"yes indeed" said the woman in a calm voice

"But why me there are other people, I know I wanted this before but my parents I can't leave them"

'i know they can't do anything but i want to be with my parents i miss them, besides knowing them they'll be sad all the time and blame it on themselves '

"calm down boy I know you're worried about your parents but don't be, look "

after that, the man waved his hand, and in front of cain was a screen with his parents after the incident, it first showed them in a courtroom with the driver of the car he turned out to be a billionaire and had 80% of his money given to his parents and it turned out he had killed his wife and took there daughter who was the girl cain saved, it was decided by Cain's parents to adopt this girl that cain saved, it showed them growing up together and living happily, cain was relieved when he saw this and the footage ended there cain looked back at them and said

"why am i here and are you god?"

the woman spoke" we'll get to that later and yes"

" so you are gonna force me to reincarnate in another world?"

"no" said the man

"so why am i here i think god would not meet with anybody"

"Listen boy" the women said "we are going to give you a couple of options

first: reincarnation with your memories that includes any world except your previous one

second: reincarnation without your memories on any world

third: become a God"

"w-what, wait what do you mean become a god"

"I would explain it to you but are you ready to find out the truth about your existence it will surprise you I am warning you"

"y-yes"

"good"

the man started speaking

"before the start of the universe, there were two omnipotent beings, as time passed on they had spent more and more time with each other, after creating many planets and universes they started to fall in love, witch each other" the man said as he looked at the woman who smiled back" after that they had a child and that was you" the man said pointing at cain

'wait wait wait I'm the son of god'

"But why was I on earth not with you if that was the case" cain asked in a confused tone

"knowledge, if you were to any of the previous options you need to have knowledge" said the man

"wait i don't know what to say to this this"

"..."

"so now what do i do"

"i recommend the latter" said the man

Cain POV

'my name is Cain black no I don't even anymore I am currently in a room with two omnipotent bei- no my biological parents and they're asking me to become a god, of course, anyone would say yes to this but I don't want to take responsibility of people's lives and I don't know anything about management

"don't worry we never said anything about managing or taking care of planets we are already doing that"

"wait you can read my mind"

"of course I'm god and your mother as well" said my biological mother while giggling

"wait if I become a god what I am going to do, am I omnipotent and I almost forgot where was i before coming here?"

"anything you want, yes and that was transferring your body to your real one"

"wait what anything and now that you mention it I'm a bit taller"

"can i have a mirror"

"yes" the women said as she waved her hand

in front of me was a mirror there stood a man at 6"1 in height, a chiseled face, clear skin, silver hair and indigo colored eyes

"wait this is me why do I look so good"

"these are your true features" said the woman

"then why did I not have them on earth"

"Because these features are not common there as well as your power"

"my power, oh wait I forgot I'm a god"

"umm, m-mom, d-dad can I-i know your n-names"

"hahahahahah of course" said dad laughing while my mother was giggling next to him

"my name is artos" said my dad

"and mine is marka" said mom
