"I already said noo my ex is at that party,, I don't wanna go!" I snapped back on her
"You so lame,, finee lets just go to shu's party,, I heard he's stuff lit asl!" My bestie said rolling her eyes
"Mmm sure ig" I said while sipping on my boba tea. We continued to walk around the mall,, just window shopping. Were just poor college students living in the city,, I hate it. Just looking but not touching it. I would look so good in those dresses. "Girl, look over there you see that?" she said while pointing at some cute boy. I looked to see what she was talking about when this book caught my attention. Something about this book just attracted me to it. Was it the cover art or was I just weird or something?

I walked over to get a closer look and grabbed It to bring to the cashier without even looking at the price. "That's all,, sweetie?" The older man said while looking at me. "Yes sir."
"The totals 49.87"
That much for a book! I took out my wallet to hand out 2 twenty dollars bills. Damn short 10 dollars… I sighed. I guess I was loud enough for this man behind me to notice "I'll pay the rest for that,, that book is really good! You have good taste!" He said while handing the money. "Oh my such a nice young man!" the cashier said while taking the money he handed.
"Thank you so much you don't know how much this means to me" I said while bowing. "No problem, I read it before it's really good,, I just wanted someone else to join the experience" He said while smiling.
I bowed again confused then turned to walk over to my friend. "You wanna go home? I really wanna read this book" I said while holding my book excitedly. "Damn girl I didn't know you read?"
"So, yes or no?" I said "Eh sure I was starting to get bored just walking around." I hugged her goodbye and left.

The book got me hooked. I pulled an all-nighter just reading the whole book. Our main character empress ling really should've knocked some sense into the noble consort. She really did all that for the emperor,, just for him not to even care for her. I couldn't even feel bad for her. She was lucky she got a quick death by her son.
Anyways enough of my hate speech lemme just say I love empress ling but she was too soft-hearted I would've already killed the noble consort as soon as she said some slick stuff.
It's already morning and I have a party at 9pm. I'll just have a quick nap.

"AYEE GO HUA HUA GO HUA HUA GO!!" The group screamed as I danced with my friends. I was always the life of the party. "Girl look ain't that your ex" My friend pointed as i stopped dancing. I looked over to see him coming over to me. I panicked , not knowing what to do. I just stood there. "Why haven't you been answering my phone calls??" He shouted gettin all up in my face "You think you're better than me just because you got into uni huh?"
"I don't gotta tell you nothing,, I blocked you so many times but you stay calling me on different phones!" I shouted. 'Just leave me alone you creep" As soon as those words came from my mouth I felt a sudden push from my chest.
I fell into the pool not knowing how to swim. But thankfully a boy from nearby jumped in to help. I didn't feel the same after that and asked my friend to just drive me home.

I laid in my bed just looking up to my dark popcorn ceiling,, It's been years since we last dated, ever since he made my life a living hell. Making me lose my job, having my family turn on me, just doing some weird stuff to me.But, why should I care for them? I'll just live whether they like it or not. I sighed and turned to sleep on my side facing the wall. My head started to get dizzy but I ignored it.

"Why couldn't you love me the way you loved father.."
I opened my eyes in shock. It was cold and dark with only a candle being my only source of heat. I tried to look around before getting up in fear of bumping into something . But, that quickly ended with me not seeing anything. I got up from my straw bed picking up the candle and began to stretch my arm out to feel my surroundings. There was nothing but the cold air hitting my hand. "Just what is this??"
I tried to go back to my straw bed and looked up just to see some purple light glowing on top of my head. It has some words written on it. My neck ached as I tried to read it and the options. "Welcome you've now entered the story "Turning the wheel of fate". "We'll now continue in 10 seconds."
"What the hell is with this dream? Continue what?" I shouted. The room began to spin making me and the candle fall.
5..4..3..2..1
"WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME!!!!"A loud voice exclaimed. The lights suddenly lit up showing an all white room with only a big wheel in it. "WELCOME TO THE WHEEL OF FATE!" "YOU HEAR HAVE BEEN SELECTED TO SURVIVE THIS STORY" She screeched.
"Huh?" I said in a confused matter
"YOU HEARD ME! YOU-" she paused suddenly, clearly her voice and spoke in a softer manner. "You've been selected to survive this story, this wheel will decide your path. Will you have a care-free easy life or a hard one with you already on your deathbed…"
"I don't get it. What kind of dream is this?" I said while pinching myself I don't want this.
"A dream?? You wish. Anyways, let's begin the show!" she said while pulling a handle making the wheel spin.
While spinning I noticed how the characters look like the book l just read. I don't wanna go to that story, I just know I'll die. I just stared at it hoping to not get noble consort hua.
The wheel spun slower meaning it was about to end. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes hoping not to get her. I don't wanna die. The room got quiet telling me the wheel stopped. I opened my eyes..
"AH HELL NAHH" I shouted "Do a re-do please." I begged after seeing noble consort hua picture selected.
"No can-do,, I wish you luck just remember if you die in this world you die in your world. The voice said while fading away.
The room began pitch white and in a matter of seconds became dark again. The moonlight quickly added light to this dark room. I began to look around again to see some young lady, most preferably in her 20's up at the window staring at the same window where the light came from.
I got up my legs wobbly to walk over to her. "My lady!" She said while running over to me. "The emperor isn't coming to forgive you tonight either. It's best to go back to bed." She said while guiding me back to my soft bed. "I don't care, what is this place?"
"It's your palace, my lady?" she answered in a confused matter
"So, I'm not in the cold palace yet?" I mumbled "Umm so what crime did I commit this time miss?"
"Miss?! Have you lost your mind while the emperor has not visited?!" She said in a shocked manner. "Guards guards the lady has gone crazy please allow us to see the emperor!" she said while running to banging on the front door. "SHH what is wrong with you I'm not crazy" I said to console her.
"Look I'm fine alright just tell me what's going on?" I said while holding her shoulders making her face me
'S-S-so they said you poisoned lady su's food,, s-s-so umm they put you in house arrest for a week" she said while sniffling. God she's annoying she must be luō sÌ.
"Jeez just how will I survive this thing" I sigh
"?"
"Alright so what's the plan to get outta this one?" I said while looking at her.
