158 It's New Years after all!

New Years spent with the Lius was a strange affair.

They were orderly and strict, forcing everyone to sit at specific spots and wait for the food to be served. Yuan Xuelan wasn't even able to sit next to his beloved, who was at a spot next to the Sect Leader.

Awkwardness was abound, and even worse, he was stuck beside the big She-Wolf General who ate like a bandit with little table manners. Yuan Xuelan was counting his breaths, forcing down his complaints in order to win Liu Fumao's favor. 

Even if he wasn't really sure if it was working, he still had to try. If only Nan Chang was around to help him out…

'You're trying to win his favor, not trying to get into his pants!' Huo Tang chided and even if Yuan Xuelan found her annoying, he had to agree that it was true.

But still…he couldn't just idle around.
