56 47_Did I scare you?

"They are already gone for quite a long time", Kai said while he was looking at his watch. "Do you think she was murdered by that blue-haired guy?", Eira asked curiously. "Of course not!", Ryuu replied full of confidence, "You only think like that because you haven't seen her in full action yet! Aren't I right?" Lucius who heard his question confirmed it with a powerful nod. Showing how much, he agreed that Lin would come out successful without being beaten by anyone.

Leo and Jaylen who appeared after Lin left decided to stay quiet because they didn't see it happen, so they (mostly Leo) weren't totally convinced. At the same time, they believed that at least half should be true because if it weren't there wouldn't be rumors, to begin with.

Leo was quiet outside, but inside he was ready to explode. He knew that Lin explained that everything was real and all, but please. If someone told you that a 1m50 girl beat a boy who is 1m72. Would you believe it? Leo didn't. And he wasn't the only one. Kai didn't believe it either, he thought that Narcys went easy on her because she's a girl. Only the simple-minded Eira believed it completely. Even the always quiet Jaylen had doubts about the said event.

The thing making it more unbelievable for Leo was that the one getting beaten was not just a 1m72 tall boy but his childhood friend Narcys who can make people hate him with one sentence! It was believable to catch him off guard, but him not fighting back was just impossible to imagine.

Even after he met Lin during the lunch break, he thought that the only way to truly believe that it's true is to hang more around her. Wouldn't he learn more about her and the same time maybe see her even in action?

While Leo was thinking this he felt so proud that his nose would've grown taller till it reached the sky if he had that kinda power. So, while trying to keep a poker face and failing extremely at that, he was trying to lessen the exploding feeling of being a genius.

Everyone was doing their own thing when someone suddenly jumped on Erebus's back.

"Boo!"

The one who jumped one Erebus was the one and only Lin. The girl noticed that no one noticed her arrival and planned something in her naughty brain. She even performed it perfectly. No one noticed and everyone was caught off guard as she wanted. Not to mention that nobody could see her because of her small built in comparison with Erebus.

"Where you scared?", Lin asked with a wide grin on her cheeky face while still hanging on Erebus's back.

"Hahahahaha!", Lin began to laugh very hard when she saw everyone's expression, "You guys faces are priceless." She said while still laughing.

Leo got so scared that he literally jumped on Jaylen who was trying his hardest to not let Leo fall as still out of it. He went pale from too much shock. A poor Jaylen who was also scared, but not as scared as his friend he was carrying was trying to lessen his trembling body.

Eira had a little less reaction compared to Leo. She jumped in the air from fright and afterward she began to tremble for a while, while Kai only closed his eyes from shock.

Ryuu who was standing beside Erebus was so shocked that he took a step back and tripped over a backpack and was currently laying on the floor. And it seemed that he wasn't planning to get up.

Lucius who stood at the other side of Erebus also jumped up from shock and his already pale face became paler, but color once again returned when she saw the perpetrator.

"Hahahahaha!", the girl was still laughing when the rest was trying to process what just happened in the one minute that passed.

"You scared the hell out of me!", said Leo while climbing of his friend, "I can still hear my heart beating, and I'm sure it won't stop for a while!"

"Isn't that good that it's beating because won't you die if it doesn't.", Kai replied calmly after he relaxed a bit.

"You! You get what I mean!", was the only reply he could get out of his mouth.

"Are you okay?", Lin asked Erebus, "I can hear your heartbeat from here. Where you so scared?" The reason why she asked this was of course because he was so quiet. He didn't even complain and most of all like she said his heartbeat went crazy. Because of this, she knew she scared him, but it was kind of scary that he didn't say anything and just stood like a statue. Even thought he fainted while standing.

"Are you okay?", Lucius asked when he noticed Lin's concern, but Erebus still didn't answer. He stood upright and didn't even tremble. He looked in front of him, but his eyes weren't focused on anything.

Even knowing that she shouldn't do what she was about to do, she still did it: "Wake up!", Lin screamed in his ear while shaking him with her still hanging on him.

Everybody now noticed that something was wrong because of her loud screaming.

"Erebus!", Lin shouted once again.

"Stop shaking me!", Erebus shouted back after his lost soul came back.

Lin who listened to Erebus stopped shaking him but wasn't planning to come down. "You should thank me!", Lin said smugly, "Without me, you could have died!"

"And because of who would I have died?", Erebus asked back while glaring at Lin.

She almost forgot that she was the reason, but who was Lin to admit the crime. "Yeah, who?", she asked stupidly.

"Yeah, who?", the group asked back.

"Hehe…Of course, it wasn't me…"

But naturally, nobody believed the little girl who was trying hard to stay clean.

A/N: Hey dear readers! I know I disappeared suddenly without a warning and I'm really sorry about that. But I didn't had time to write about my circumstances, so I do hope you'll forgive your poor Author!

So, the reason why I disappeared was that I felt mentally tired from school, from life, etc. I just wanted to stop doing things, so I kind of did things half-heartedly and you can see it in some of my school subjects. I tried writing, but I didn't like it. I never really like my chapters, but this time was even worse. I wrote this one on the twelfth of February. And it was only like 500 words. I stopped writing because I didn't really want to give you guys something as worse as that, so I rested. Today I wanted to write again, and it went smoother than it did three weeks ago. I'm really happy about that!

I'm gonna work a student job on Saturday, I think. I'm still not sure but it is a possibility. I need money, you know. I'm broke as I don't know what. That is why I won't be able to update weekly anymore. I decided to just write when I want to. This includes my other novels. I'll write what I want to write. But I'll definitely finish this and the other stories.

I already have an ending in my head, but I really don't know how I'll reach there. LOL

That's right! I'm planning to put a new character in the story! I know it's not new or something like that, but I'm wondering which name you guys think will suit her!

It's a girl from Lucius her class. I'm still not sure when I'll put her in the story, but she will definitely appear!

She has short brown hair. The hairstyle looks kind of like the wolf cut. She has blue, green eyes. It's actually blue, but how nearer it comes to the pupil how greener it becomes! She has kind of droopy eyes; you can also name it downturned eyes! She wears golden, round glasses because without them she can't even see how many fingers you have. She is pale but her cheeks have a rosy color. He doesn't like things like skirts and dresses because she doesn't like her legs. But it's beautiful! So, I'm thinking to make her wear pants in school instead of skirts like the rest of the girls. Her height is around 1m63.

I know that there is a lot of details, but the reason is that she is modeled as my best friend. I don't want to give the same name because of privacy. Says me who uses her in my novel LOL. This is a secret between us, okay?

Do tell me if you have a name you'll think suits her. I'm all ears!

If you liked the details of how someone looked, I can write an extra chapter introducing everyone with their looks. I can imagine it because I'm the Author, but I do hope you'll be able to. So, don't hesitate to ask!

I still need to say my thanks to my reader WeirdPandaPerson! Thank you for the 42 power stones the last month! (I'm not sure if I counted wrong, but it was a lot.) You are definitely one of the reasons why I feel like writing.

I write to myself to begin with. But I share my stories and I started to write for every reader who read this. I hope that they like it, I hope they won't be disappointed is what goes through my head. And through for example power stones I feel appreciated. I know that there are readers, but at those moments I know once again why I started writing. Yes, it started for me but ended for others.

I hope you show support for me. I don't need power stones. But I appreciate at least a comment. To show that someone is reading this. I'm a silent reader too, but now I try to sometimes comment to show my support for the Authors because I can't do anything else.
