49 44_I love you

A/N: This is for last week power stones. It's a thank you gift! I received 5 power stones in total. I know it isn't a lot but I find it enough to know that there are people who really appreciate my novel. So thanks Drapho and Corninha_69_106_! That doesn't mean I'll write an extra chapter each time there are a lot of power stones. I'll only do it when I have time.

I wish you guys a nice reading time!

"Ugh…", the door opened, and a boy fell on his bed. The sun still shined, but he already was exhausted that he wanted to sleep right at this moment.

"I forgot my bag.", he murmured to himself. "I'll ask Luke to get it for me."

The boy who was exhausted was Narcys. After he walked out of the classroom, he heard people murmur about what happened in their class. Everyone was looking at him, and this made him angrier than he already was. Narcys really wanted to punch everyone who talked about it but decided against it.

[That will be so much work.]

In the end, he decided to just go home, but he forgot his bag. Of course, he won't go take it because he knew that that girl would be in the class.

[I think I'll go crazy if I see her again.]

Narcys thought that he met the person who has the thickest skin that will ever exist in humankind. Just thinking about how she said so much nonsense without a pause made him frown from displeasure.

*SIGH*

[What will she say next time?]

Without realizing it, he fell asleep. The sun wasn't even under, but the boy was deep asleep, and no one could wake him up from his slumber.

.

.

.

He sat on the grass while leaning on a big tree. He seemed to be deep asleep, but at the same time, it also felt that he was just taking a short rest.

"Hey!"

The wind gently touches his hair, they swayed together with the wind and made a serene scene. But his appreciation for everything was ruined by the voice.

"Are you sleeping?", the voice asked.

"Not anymore.", he said with obvious irritation in his voice.

"That's good then! I'm lost and wanted to ask for direction!"

He opened his eyes slowly. Even though he doesn't want to help the other person; he had a feeling that they won't leave him alone if he doesn't help them.

"Why ask me, there are other people you could ask."

[That weren't sleeping.], he added in his mind.

"Of course, it's because you're handsome!"

He only felt shocked at how the person was so straightforward. He only could shuffle his hair in disarray to show his displeasure from that person's reasoning.

"Are you serious?!", he said with anger in his voice.

He looked straight to the person that stood before him. There were two people. One stood closer while the other stood a bit further. He could tell at a glance who disturbed his resting time.

"What beautiful eyes.", said the one who disturbed his sleep.

"Excuse me?", he didn't know what to say to the person. First, they disturbed his sleep, and then they began to talk nonsense.

"Your eyes are really beautiful."

He looked closer at the person who complimented his eyes. Somehow he couldn't see her face because it was covered by a black smudge only her mouth could be seen, but he could tell it was a woman by her voice and clothes.

"It's really beautiful.", she said once again.

He couldn't see her face but somehow he felt warmth spread in his body. He knew that that smile she showed him would always be engraved in his mind. The smile was just too beautiful to ever forget.

"Thank you.", he said still a bit shocked.

*GIGGES*

She giggles softly. Her giggles were soft and sweet. He felt intoxicated and a bit sad.

[Why am I sad?]

"You're welcome! My name is ______! What is your name?"

"My name is ______."

This was their first meeting. It wasn't anything special, but it wasn't something they could easily forget.

.

.

.

"_____! I knew I could find you here! You're always sleeping under this tree."

.

.

.

"This is your child? He is so cute!"

.

.

.

"I want to become someone that will go down history! Just wait I'll definitely achieve it!"

.

.

.

"Since when did our friend group expand so much!"

.

.

.

"I'll give you a mind-blowing surname! Let me think for a while."

.

.

.

"He died! He died… It's because I couldn't help him…"

.

.

.

"I love you, _____!"

.

.

.

"I don't mind that you have a child! I really love you!"

.

.

.

"I love you!"

.

.

.

"I really do love you!"

.

.

.

"Why don't you trust me?"

.

.

.

"I'm sorry for all the time that I bothered you…"

On their usual spot was the once green place trampled by the people. In the middle of everyone was a woman. The woman was hanged on a cross. Her hands, feet were tied hard. She couldn't move and could only accept her fate.

Her once clean feet were now scrapped because she had walked the whole way on her bare feet. Even now her feet couldn't rest and needed to stand on the crude wood under her feet.

The people stood around her watching angrily at her. Some had a torch on their hands and were ready to throw it on the large amount of wood.

The one who took the lead was a woman. She was around the same age as the one who was being hanged.

"Witch!", she screamed.

_____ wasn't scared. She only looked sad and seemed to already accept her cruel fate.

"No!", he cried. "Don't do this! She isn't a witch!"

He looked broken at the scene he saw. Not only he protested, but their friends did also. But it didn't help, it only made them act faster.

"They are under her spell! We need to release them from her evil! Put the stake on fire!"

One by one the torch fell on the stake. Her friends couldn't help her, but the woman didn't seem to mind at all. She smiled at the crowd and shouted above the noise.

"It's okay! I'm okay! Please don't blame yourself!"

She turned her face to him and silently mouthed seven words. He watched attentively and deciphered her words.

"I'm sorry", she mouthed: "and I love you."

He could only cry while watching this scene. He was held down by others and couldn't even get closer to her. He felt that the world really was mean. They once again stole someone he had dear.

"Don't go…", he whispered quietly.

"Please, don't leave me…"

.

.

.

He was now sitting in their secret hideout. Only he and she knew about it. They found it accidentally and since then they hung here out when they wanted to be alone. It held precious memories for him, but he couldn't stand being here any longer. He felt that he would go crazy.

Before he could walk away and never come back again, he saw a book that shouldn't be here. He never saw it before, and now after her death, it suddenly appeared.

He walked to it and opened it. On the first page, there was something written in neat handwriting.

"To Lucky"

She was the only one who called him that. He always hated that nickname. He thought it was more a name for a pet, but right at this moment, he missed the nickname the most.

With trembling fingers, he turned over the page. The more he read, the more he broke down. He cried once again.

He never cried a lot in his life. But she was one of the reasons why he now wanted to cry each day, each hour, each minute, and each second.

He walked to the mirror in their secret place. She always liked to look at herself. She would say how beautiful she was and how she looked amazing. Now before the mirror wasn't the owner, but her first crush.

He looked at his face. Light brown and light blue eyes looked back at him. The eyes she always complimented were now full of tears.

In the mirror, you could see Narcys. They looked the same, but this version was older and more mature. He was built stronger and taller.

Narcys's face showed his sadness and grieving. His always cold face couldn't help but break down.

"I miss you…"

.

.

.

Narcys suddenly woke up with a fright. He had dreamt about something heavy and somehow he was crying. His dreams were vague, but he could feel something pierce his heart, it was crying out for someone.

"Who are you?", he asked quietly to nobody.
