An Unexpected Invitation

"Violet! I haven't seen you in a couple of days, it can't be that you found a boyfriend and you haven't told me, right?" Playfully Mia said to Violet.

"I am not changing boyfriend every 2 days unlike some girl I know." As Violet retaliated with her words, Mia was taken aback without knowing how to combat her. "Well, from what you have told me, you're still pretty pure."

"Geez, Violet what are you talking about?" laughed Mia.

Upon entering the mall, Mia and Violet went shopping for some clothes and played on the arcade. "Mia! How are you so good at air hockey?!" Violet is a very competitive person when she goes up against Mia. "You know my that my older brother is the city's air hockey champion. He trained me."

During lunch time, Violet noticed a familiar figure on the KFC near the Subway. Noticing this, Mia grinned. "I'll be back soon Violet." With a somewhat sinister smile Mia approached the young man standing at the KFC. "Excuse me, my friend over seems to need help can you come and help us?" Not knowing what he was getting into, the young man accepted easily.

When he finally saw the girl standing in front of him, he took both of her hand and asked. "Excuse me miss, you are the lady that helped me and my father when we had an accident, right? Well, I've been trying to get in contact with you since the day we met in the park." said the young man eagerly.

"Uh..... Violet? Is this your hidden boyfriend?" Upon hearing Mia's question, Violet's and Noah's faces flushed into a bright red. "No no no no! He isn't my boyfriend you've got it all wrong. I just helped him and his dad during an accident." Violet said as the young man nodded violently.

"My father and my mother asked me to get in contact with her and her mother, and ask them if they are willing to have dinner with us to show our gratitude for saving us..." The young man was very shy at this moment. "Miss may I know your name?"

"My name is Violet, Kaname Violet..." said Violet shyly as she looked at the man in front of her. "Violet... What beautiful name." said the man and upon noticing it, he instantly turned red once again. "M-my name is Noah, Price Noah. Here is my phone number, please call me to set up the date for the meeting." With that said, Noah swiftly wrote his phone number on a piece of paper and handed it to Violet and left the two girls behind.

At this moment, Mia was very interested in what sor of relationship these two fellows would get into. "Soooo. Your boyfriend seems like a nice guy."

"HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIENDS, MIA CUT IT OUT!"

As time went by the two girls parted ways and went home by themselves. When violet got home, she found herself looking at the piece of paper with a bunch of numbers on, 8543 XXXX.

"Mom! I met the young man that we helped on the accident some time ago."

"Oh? what did he say? Tell me, tell me."

"He told me that his parents want to have dinner with you and me as a way to thank us."

"Did he give you something to contact any of them?"

"Yeah, he gave me his phone number. Here."

Violet passed the piece of paper to her mom and quickly dialed the number on her phone. While the phone was ringing Violet's mother asked for the name of the man and then someone picked up on the other side of the phone line.

"Hello? Who is this?"

"Hello, may I know if this is the phone number of young master Price? I'm Violets mother, she already filled me in on the details and I would like to know when will you be free."

Violet's mother was a very straight forward women.

On the other side of the line, Noah was very nervous. He was expecting the call for the entire day.

"Yes, I am Noah. I can call my father if you wish to set the date and time for the dinner."

After some time Noah's father picked up the phone and quickly set the date for the dinner, it was going to happen in 2 days at 7:00 pm in the New Moon's Wish restaurant. This is high life restaurant a lot of aristocratic families come to eat at this place and this surprised Violet's mother because as a single mother and as a teacher, she couldn't afford to eat at these places with her daughter. And so she happily agreed with the Price's invitation.

The next morning on the way to school. Violet decided to walk to school with Mia and notice a long line of black luxury vehicles parked in front of the school gates. "Look Violet. Some big young master must've transferred to our school today. I wonder if he is from one of the Three Big Families." Violet didn't give it much thought and walked straight past the gate into the school.

Inside the school. Violet had to run some errands for the librarian. On the way out of the library, Violet was quickly walking and when she got out the doorway, she hit someone and fell. Before she was going to hit the floor someone caught her. When Violet looked at the person holding her, she instantly turned red. "Noah?"

"Violet?"

"Hey girl, you better watch out when you're walking." A really annoyed voice sounded near the two of them and what they could see was a group of punks. "Boss, maybe we should take the girl with us and make her "apologize" to us" One of the shortest punks said sinisterly with a wide grin on his face. Noah on the other had already landed his fist on the punk's face causing him to fall on the ground bleeding from his nose.

"Keep your eyes of her. You guys are just bullies, if I ever see any of you near her. I will make sure that you will wish you were dead"

Violet was dumbfounded by the turn of events today and seeing this young man protect her made her heart beat faster.
