300 Zhou Jie was Curious

Gu Xin Ye stood up and held her breath as she watched the old man walk into the room. She held the hem of her skirt tightly, hoping that it would help her with her anxiousness. 

It seemed that it was a little too late to put on her glasses.

A warm and large palm suddenly held hers. 

Gu Xin Ye raised her head and saw that Qin Zhan was looking at her with an assuring smile on his face. Gu Xin Ye was still anxious, but Qin Zhan's presence might help her a little bit.

Holding Gu Xin Ye's hand in his, Qin Zhan led Gu Xin Ye to his grandfather. "Grandfather."

"Hmm..." Zhou Jie nodded. He glanced at Gu Xin Ye, silently assessing her. His lips pursed into a thin line as he realized that Gu Xin Ye looked quite familiar. 

"Grandfather, let me introduce you," Qin Zhan spoke. "This is my girlfriend, Gu Xin Ye."

Gu Xin Ye felt the heat rush to her face at the introduction.
