Qin Zhan let out a laugh. 

It seemed that his girlfriend was being a bit clingy today. He liked it when Gu Xin Ye took the initiative to get close to him. However, he was worried that she was still traumatized by what happened. 

Each time that he moved to fetch ingredients, Gu Xin Ye would be moving with him as well.

Qin Zhan pursed his lips to a thin line. He stood in front of the stove and continued to cook slowly to allow Gu Xin Ye to hug him for as long as she wanted to.

The couple stayed that way in silence for a long time. 

Gu Xin Ye finally released her embrace once Qin Zhan turned off the fire. She watched as Qin Zhan grabbed a plate and poured the ingredients into the plate.

Turning around, Qin Zhan reached for a pair of chopsticks and clipped a piece of meat and potato. "Would you like to try? Is it to your liking?"

Gu Xin Ye opened her mouth, wanting to take a bite.
