2 Fun times

"Disgusting," Sukuna said aloud as he spit out some of the leftover food the dead Sukuna left in his home.

The previous Sukuna was an orphan who had somehow won the lottery and gotten a rather large sum of money which he used to buy himself a small apartment in a nice side of town, it was by no means grand but it was enough for him, he wasn't a man who needed much to get by.

Currently, Sukuna found himself in an odd situation. He had awakened in a body that had the same name as him, he sensed no cursed energy or sorcerers despite the fact that he was in their home turf, Japan, his cursed energy was gone and replaced by a stronger and more potent energy, he sensed something odd within his soul, and to top it off, he sensed his soul was different than before.

'Then there was the particular circle that those women appeared in, it wasn't any sorcery I recognize.' Sukuna said to himself as he entered the bathroom connected to his bedroom, this house was clearly his now that the fake Sukuna was dead.

Upon entering the bathroom, Sukuna found himself looking in the body mirror in the nude, he wanted to see each and every peculiarity his body had, and to do that he needed to examine himself as he was now.

For the next ten or so minutes Sukuna looked over himself until he felt that he no longer needed to do so, he found things noteworthy that he would need to fix to truly have the perfect physical body that he always felt necessary.

'My hair is a bit long,' Sukuna said inwardly before using dismantle rapidly around his head to trim his hair to how he liked it.

"Tsk." Sukuna sucked his teeth as he saw his dismantles leaving large gashes on the walls of the bathroom, he had tried to keep them small, weak, and controlled but to no avail, his basic abilities were stronger than before so he would need to relearn how to control them, although he doubted it would take long with his talent and experience.

Done with his trims, Sukuna ran his hands through his abyss-black hair before getting into the shower and cleaning off all of the blood that was on him; usually, it was other people's blood but in this case, it was his own.

As Sukuna showered he found himself cackling, he was alive and this time it was in a permanent body, not a borrowed one he got with the incarnation method, he was truly alive, and while he didn't remember how he had gotten here life was life; though, he would find out more about the specifics later.

Sometime later Sukuna got out of the shower and approached the wardrobe where he then threw on an all-black outfit, nothing stunningly beautiful but Sukuna didn't care about that, he simply needed clothing and the previous Sukuna happened to have clothing taste quite similar to his home.

Finished bathing and clothing himself, Sukuna ran his fingers through his abyss-black hair and pushed it back before walking toward his bed and sitting cross-legged with a single goal in mind, enter his mindscape.

The mindscape was different per person, some people had nothing pure mindscapes filled with flowers and all types of greenery, these types of people would be more pure than others with a love for nature, this shows how a mindscape represents an individual and will always be unique to them.

Moments after sitting down Sukuna accomplished his goal of entering his mindscape, after all, he had plenty of practice with this type of thing so there wasn't much trouble in doing so.

Upon entering his mindscape, Sukuna expected to see the same place he was in when Yuji met him but while things were still similar, there were also differences. Sukuna's mindscape was a rather negative one; everything was dimly lit with a malevolent red glow, the floor was a neverending shallow puddle of crimson red blood, and at the center of the mindscape was a throne of all sorts of bones but these things were the same from before.

The differences from Sukuna's mindscape were rather obvious to him at a glance. To start off, the top of his mindscape which was previously a bone and fleshy circular ceiling was now nowhere to be seen, instead, there was a sky full of red clouds passing by quickly.

The second difference was similar to the ceiling, the walls of his mindscape were gone, instead, his mindscape simply continued in all directions; there was no end in sight. All that was in sight to Sukuna was his throne, the clouds in the sky, and the neverending blood on the ground which he stood on top of.

The last difference was the existence of four doors, one to his left, one to his right, one in front of him, and another behind him, all of which had a different feeling that demanded Sukuna be careful of them.

"My throne doesn't seem all that high with the sky present," Sukuna said aloud as he looked at his throne which looked far smaller without the ceiling in place, it was as if his power wasn't all that he believed it to be but it also made his feel that he could go further, become stronger.

Sukuna was The Cursed King and a King sat at the peak but that wasn't the case in his mindscape any longer, here he was clearly very far from the peak. Previously his throne was nearly touching the ceiling but here he was much closer to the ground than the sky and while at first, it made Sukuna furrow his brow, after a second thought he understood the underlying meaning.

"So this is where this foreign energy is coming from..." Sukuna said as he walked toward the door on his left and arrived a few moments later, from its sides, the door was oozing a deep red energy that felt very similar to the cursed energy he once had but it also felt much stronger than his cursed energy ever was.

The door had a medieval look to it; its dark, weathered wood bearing the scars of time. Thick iron bands, rusted and twisted, wrap around it like shackles, hinting at a violent past. At its center, a large, ornate iron knocker shaped like a grotesque gargoyle snarls menacingly. Carved into the wood are intricate, sinister symbols that seem to writhe and twist in the flickering torchlight, casting eerie shadows.

Reaching out, Sukuna attempted to open the door but was met with a grim reality, he couldn't make it budge in the slightest, no matter how much power he exerted, the door wouldn't budge.

"Interesting." Sukuna grinned amused that he couldn't do something as simple as open a door despite it clearly being a special door.

Quickly Sukuna made his way around to every door which took him a few moments since all of them were spread out rather far but something worth taking note of was that he couldn't open any of them, not a single one of the doors budged.

Understanding that opening the door wasn't an option, Sukuna made his way around his mindscape trying to reach his limits but eventually after what felt like hours he came to the understanding that there were no limits in place, or at least not that he had found after such a long time of sprinting at his fastest speed.

'Let's focus on doing what I came here to do.' Sukuna said inwardly knowing he had gotten sidetracked but rightfully so, one's mindscape didn't change, ever, this was something he was certain of yet here he was with a different mindscape which in turn proved him wrong.

Now standing completely still Sukuna began training, not to develop new abilities or grow in power but to regain his masterful control which he was proud of. Perfect control of one's abilities even if extremely weak was something Sukuna deemed as a requirement for anyone who aspired for greatness so he himself could never willingly allow himself to have his own abilities out of control so to him, this training was desperately needed.

In the mindscape time passed slower than it did in the real world, for example, an hour in the real world was two hours in the mindscape so this was the ideal training area for people who trained their souls which did have crossover benefits for the body such as control which was what Sukuna was training for currently.

Once again, hours passed within Sukuna's mindscape but unlike before his time wasn't spent running, this time he was improving himself, and while doing so Sukuna knew that the similarities between Cursed Energy and the new energy he was using made it much easier to adapt and adjust to the new power his moves had.

"Kehehe!" Sukuna laughed with a malicious grin on his face as he sent out a full-powered dismantle that was triple the size of his previous full-powered one, it was amazing that by only using a different energy source he was able to grow in power.

'It's stronger and more versatile but still feels similar to Cursed Energy.' Sukuna said as continued throwing around dismantles like a happy child, it was quite rare to see Sukuna like this but for those who knew, increasing his power did make Sukuna happy, in fact, it was one of the few things that made him genuinely feel the emotion happiness.

For a while longer Sukuna trained before returning to his physical body where he instantly sent out a small slash at the edge of the window curtain. Immendiantly as his find swiped through the air, the edge of the curtain disconnected with the rest of the curtain.

'Good.' Sukuna said satisfied with the amount of control he regained during his training session, he still had room for improvement but at least he wouldn't be destroying things when he didn't intend to now.

Getting up from bed Sukuna made his way to the kitchen wishing to drink something, he wasn't thirsty perse but he wanted to try some of the beverages that people of the current era had; during the Heian Era, he mostly had tea and when he was using the body of others he didn't have much time to try out different types of beverages and foods, so now, he did wish to try some things.

"Bubble Tea," Sukuna said as he held a cup of Bubble Tea which the previous Sukuna had bought for himself.

Grabbing one of the metal straws from the utensil drawer, Sukuna soon could be seen pushing the straw into the designated sealed straw area before taking a sip of the tea with a critical expression on his face.

'Odd but not bad.' Sukuna said as he continued drinking from the Bubble Tea which tasted nothing like the tea he had back in the day, it was obvious how the times had changed things as it always did.

A few minutes later, Sukuna with a cup in hand could be seen leaving his apartment with the intention of going to the grocery store. With it already being around 9:00 A.M. the store was open though Sukuna would end up doing more than grabbing a few groceries.

As Sukuna made his way to the grocery store close to his apartment he found himself thinking about the people close to the dead Sukuna, they all were particular in their own ways.

'Perhaps I'll kill them to thank the kid for the body.' Sukuna said inwardly as he chuckled knowing that although the previous Sukuna was hurt by their betrayal he didn't have any ill feelings toward Akeno and Rias, to say the boy was a wimp when it regarded some of the women at his school was an understatement.

'Though I quite like the short black-haired one.' Sukuna said to himself, the girl was intelligent, more so than the others the previous Sukuna was close with.

"Heh, how would you feel if I stole the women you loved brat?" Sukuna said aloud with a smirk as he walked down an empty road and while he knew the dead Sukuna couldn't hear him or retort, he still found the thought amusing.

"I knew that woman couldn't finish a job thoroughly." A middle-aged man with short black hair and dark blue eyes said.

The man wore a pale gray trench coat over a white dress shirt with a matching ascot, black pants, shoes, a pair of black gloves, and a black fedora; and to add the finishing touches, there were feathered black wings on the mans back.

"Oh?" Sukuna said with an arched brow as the sounds reverberating through the environment disappeared and the atmosphere took a more purple glow as compared to the bright blue sky that was once present.

'Is this a curtain?' Sukuna questioned inwardly but moments later understood that it wasn't.

'No, this is a barrier but not a curtain... how interesting.' Sukuna said inwardly.

"How are you alive?" The man with wings questioned as he descended to the ground a few feet away from Sukuna.

"Hm..." Sukuna hummed lowly not truly answering the man as he walked toward him with a malicious grin appearing on his face, a grin that sent chills down the spine of the fallen angel who had lived for hundreds of years feeling as if he was an apex predator.
