"This wasn't part of the plan." A booming voice said as he looked at the floating soul of Ryomen Sukuna who had died earlier than planned.

"Indeed, but how could we have predicted he would do that?" Another voice said as his Omni-Sense scanned for the reality closest to theirs.

"That's the problem █████, we didn't predict it, we couldn't see it, and that shouldn't be possible in our own reality." The first voice said with an odd tone, this was a first for him.

"I understand that but still, we both know fate works in ways beyond us." The second voice retorted, if they, eleventh-dimensional beings couldn't have predicted this outcome then that only meant one thing, a being of a much higher dimension than them had planned this.

"What do you want to do with him?" The second voice said wanting to change the subject but also knowing that the boy, Sukuna, could no longer reside in their reality.

"We'll reincarnate him." The first voice replied promptly knowing that neither erasure nor revival was an option.

"Hmm... A good idea but to where?" The second voice questioned, this was the same idea he had thought of.

"One of the outer realities will due." The first voice said with certainty in his tone while the holder of the second voice looked at him as if he was an idiot.

"What? The outer realities are-" The first voice said with confusion before the second voice interrupted and continued his sentence.

"Extremely powerful, the weakest beings out there can sneeze away galaxies... how do you expect the boy to survive there?" The second voice said before relating a huff and continuing.

"Let's send him to Draconic Deus." The second voice suggested.

"Hm... I suppose that will do." The first voice said in agreement but before he could get the reincarnation process going, the second voice made another move.

"Some gifts are reasonable right?" The second voice questioned playfully.

"Kiss ass." The first voice said knowing what the second voice was trying to get at but it was important to note that he didn't deny him.

"I'll take that as a yes." The second voice said with amusement clear in his tone before continuing.

"I'll give him The Ten Thousand Demon Core and a perfect soul." The second voice said knowing.

"Now, what will you do for him?" The second voice asked the first with a smirk knowing his brother and what he would most likely do.

"I'll make him a singularity." The first voice replied deciding that was all he would do, but that alone was plenty.

"Hoho~, you're even more of a kiss-ass than me brother!" The second voice said before bursting into a fit of booming laughter that threatened to destroy everything around them.

"Shut up, you're breaking our things." The first voice said as he shook his head with a controlled huff.

"What of his memories? Shall we let him keep them or perhaps will we erase them completely?" The first asked after the second voice quieted down.

"I say we let him keep them but have them as well as his gifts awaken at either the age of twenty or if something traumatic happens." The second replied.

"Mhm." The first voice hummed in agreement and a few moments later, the altercations were finished.

"Done?" The first voice asked wanting to get a move on.

"I am." The second voice confirmed.

"Alright, how does this look?" The first voice said before a panel of sorts appeared in front of the first voice.

Gift #1: The Ten Thousand Demon Core

Gift #2: Perfect Soul

Gift #3: Existence Status - Singularity

"This will do." The second voice replied.

"Very well." The first voice said before waving his hand, finalizing all changes, and initiating Sukuna's reincarnation.

-- With Ryomen Sukuna: Years later --

'So this is how I die... because of that woman.' Sukuna said inwardly as he lay in a large puddle of his own blood while Issei Hyoudou, who had also been stabbed by the woman with black wings, was a few feet away from him.

With a hazy mind, Sukuna lay motionless as he stared up at the night sky, his head laying flush against the ground, his eyes slowly dimming from the loss of blood, his body slowly losing all control and embracing the cold feeling of death.

It was a coincidence, Sukuna's being here. He was late to leave school today and even after leaving he had to stop by the store to buy some groceries which in turn made him stay out even later and by the time he was on his way home for the night, it was already nighttime.

He walked through many quiet areas but he made one mistake upon choosing to take a shortcut through the park and while he only did it to save time if he had taken his regular route none of this would've happened.

As he walked through the park, mid-way through Sukuna saw a fountain where two people were speaking however, Sukuna had never been a nosy person so he avoided their side of the fountain and opted to walk on the other side but as he made his way past it, he heard something strange.

"Will you die for me, Ise?" A feminine voice said before Sukuna heard a pained groan from the place where the two people were.

Looking to his left Sukuna was met with the image of a woman in a skimpy all-black outfit with feathered black wings decorating her back but while that was noteworthy the thing that truly took Sukuna's attention was the shining spear the woman had plunged into the gut of Issei Hyoudou, a known pervert at his school.

Instantly Sukuna's eyes widened as he took in the sight of blatant murder, it was something he had never seen or wanted to see but before another thought could appear in his mind, the woman turned toward him with a sadistic smile on her face and flapped her wings but once and before he could even move, the woman had plunged her spear into his heart.

It was painful, far more painful than anything Sukuna had ever felt but the burning sensation made it all the worse. Sukuna felt as if he was being burned alive from the inside out and there was nothing he could do about it but stand frozen as the woman laughed at his pain until finally, she kicked him off of her spear and in the process broke his spine as well as a few other bones.

"You're definitely one of the most handsome men I've ever seen but at the end of the day you're merely a human, you'll never be like Azazel-Sama~." The woman said with a crazed expression on her face while Sukuna couldn't understand why he was being compared to someone he didn't even know.

"Well, this was fun but I have some business to attend to so bye~!" The woman said before flying into the sky leaving Sukuna and Issei bleeding out on the ground.

'I'm sorry guys... It appears like I won't be able to keep my promise.' Sukuna said inwardly as he felt himself fading, it was odd but he knew this was the feeling of impending death, it was almost as if he had been here before.

Feeling as if he would never see his closest people ever again Sukuna continued gazing at the lovely night sky above him but that's when something odd happened, some kind of magical circle appeared beside Issei, and with it came two people, Rias Gremory and Akeno Himejima, two of the people he cared deeply for in particular.

'...How did they...' Sukuna said inwardly as he saw the two women who were looking down at Issei.

"Do you wish to live?" Rias asked Issei with a smile on her face before Issei reached his hand out toward her weakly but no words came from his mouth, though it didn't matter his fate was sealed.

"I'll take that as a yes, from now onward, you belong to me, Issei Hyoudou," Rias said before a crimson pawn piece from a chess set appeared in her hand but before she could push it into Issei's chest, she froze and along with her was Akeno.

"S-Sukuna?" Akeno stuttered with wide eyes before running toward him and dropping to his side.

"Why are you here..? You weren't supposed to..." Akeno said with sadness clear in her eyes, she looked devastated.

"President, we-," Akeno said before being cut off by Rias.

"I... Can't, Issei required eight pawn pieces and Sukuna has no sacred gear..." Rias said as she looked at Sukuna with her fist balled as her emotions surged internally. When she was about to give Issei one of her pawn pieces earlier, she could sense that it would take all of her pieces instead of one or two as she anticipated.

Rias had a choice to make, save one of her closest friends with no sacred gear who wouldn't be able to escape her marriage against Riser, or, abandon her friend and save the man who would take all eight pawn pieces and would help her escape from her forced marriage with Riser.

Both Akeno and Rias fell silent after they spoke those words for each of them knew the significance of them and they also knew that they were abandoning someone who had always been there for them, someone who they had almost...

"You're great even in death... Sukuna." Akeno said as tears dropped from her eyes while she held Sukuna's face gently while looking at him trying to memorize each detail of his face, his eyes had fallen shut moments ago so she wasn't even aware he had seen them arrive.

For a few more moments Akeno stared at Sukuna before placing a kiss on his forehead, standing up, and hiding her face from Rias who knew she was about to lose herself due to her emotions.

"I can't watch him die," Akeno said before teleporting back to the ORC Room leaving only Issei, Sukuna, and Rias.

"...I'm sorry Sukuna... I have to do this, please understand." Rias said as she tried to hold herself together, she was close to breaking down like Akeno but she had to keep her cool facade, she was the Gremory House Heir.

Like Akeno, Rias kneeled down and placed a gentle kiss on Sukuna's forehead before pulling away, but unlike Akeno, Rias stopped midway and stared at Sukuna closely before leaning down once more and slowly kissing his lips as if trying to remember him by something.

"I'm sorry," Rias said once more before leaving Sukuna's side and going back toward Issei and pulling out the pawn piece again.

"Please... I don't want to regret this any more than I already am." Rias said hoping Issei would help her as she gritted her teeth and forced the pawn piece into Issei's chest before grabbing him and teleporting away, but now before giving Sukuna one last look.

Now all alone Sukuna reeled in his shock, he was weak, far too weak to even move a muscle let alone speak but despite that, his dying self still heard and understood everything... they had chosen a random man over him, the person who had always been there for them through thick and thin.

The feeling of betrayal etched itself into the dying Sukuna as his already extremely weak breaths lessened until finally, after a lot of physical and emotional pain, Sukuna, the young man from Draconic Dues died.

Soon the night reached its peak, the full moon dimly lit the park and in turn created an ethereal glow shine from the dead young man, just like Akeno had said, Sukuna looked perfect at this moment, his blood even furthered that fact.

Unbeknownst to the world, if Rias Gremory had used her pawns on Ryomen Sukuna, she would have enslaved a catastrophic being and prevented the deaths of many beings be they Humans, Vampires, Devils, Angels, Fallen Angels, Gods, Yokai, Dragons, Grim Reapers, and the like, but that was for everyone to know at a later time, for now, the focus of the world was on the rapidly healing chest of Sukuna.

It was almost unheard of to see a man healing after his death but despite that, it was happening right now as well as a few other things. Soon all of Sukuna's wounds healed perfectly but that's not where his physical changes ended.

Sukuna's body began to go through a metamorphosis of sorts; bathed in the glow of moonlight, his body began to undergo a profound transformation. It started subtly, with his muscles beginning to twitch, bulge, twist, and elongate horrendously.

Sukuna's skin took on a luminescent quality, shimmering with an otherworldly sheen. his bones shifted and cracked, reshaping themselves into a new, more formidable form. Slowly black tattoos unique to one being appeared throughout his body and his usual grey eyes which were hidden under his eyelids transformed into a bright crimson red.

"Hm..." A melodic hum sounded through the dark environment as the real Ryomen Sukuna awoke from his slumber with the memories of the dead Sukuna to assist him in his new life.

"Heh"
