Signed contract

"I died?" I wondered when I saw the darkness that extended in all directions, not a hint of light could be seen.

"Exactly." A voice answered me, and the space in front of me trembled, revealing a ball of light. When I looked at that ball, I felt a peace in my spirit. I wondered if this was the God I had heard about all my life.

"I think you have a lot of questions, don't you? Well, it's not like I have so much time or interest to answer you." he heard the same voice he had spoken before and for some reason the peace of mind he felt diminished with each word spoken by the ball of light.

"You know, right? I am a superior entity and ..." the voice was bragging for at least an hour, it seemed to be a machine with an immense vocabulary, specially made to irritate me. I tried to speak a few times, but since the ball started to speak I haven't been able to make the slightest sound, in fact, I don't know if I ever made a sound since apparently I'm dead and I don't have a body.

"Well, I think you already understood your place, right? Let's get to it, you died like I said earlier but it wasn't a normal death, maybe you don't remember since it was a sudden death, so I'll help you remember. " the ball of light emitted a glow and a burst of light flew towards me, penetrating my body.

An image started to form in my mind.

"Wait, isn't this my home ?!" as the images passed, he realized that these should be his memories. So far, he hasn't found anything out of the ordinary, as he always went to school, came home, and was at that moment watching some funny videos on the internet.

A very normal day, he remembered all these parts, until he found something new, which did not appear in his memories.

"What?" in front of my computer, a screen suddenly appeared, apparently floating in the air, there was a question.

"What do you think about living in a different world?"

I was quite scared initially.

"What the fuck is this advanced technology?" this was my first reaction, which later became disbelief, I started looking for someone to troll me, but I found nothing.

"You have 60 seconds to answer that question." a robotic voice echoed in my room, which made me think that maybe it was no troll.

"It shouldn't be a problem to answer that." Fuck this shit, I pressed the screen and accepted.

Nothing.

Exactly, nothing happened. I thought I was crazy, but my answer soon came, a very loud horn sound and the last piece of memory I saw was the wall in my room being destroyed by a truck.

The image disappeared from his mind, and he returned to the dark place, the light that was in him returned to the ball. Realizing that the light was returning to her, the ball spoke.

"Now you must know what happened, correct?" I nodded my head, as I couldn't answer verbally.

"So I will be brief, you signed the contract and now you will be sent to a different world, good luck!" the last part was very strange, even if the ball tried to give me a feeling of enthusiasm or something, it felt like there was a touch of pity in that voice.

After he said that, the ball just started to be covered by the void again, I sighed with relief when I realized that I was able to "speak" again until I realized that I would be left adrift by this entity in a world I did not know.

"WAIT, WHERE ARE MY CHEATS ??" in a moment of anger I screamed as loudly as I could, but the ball of light was already out of that place and darkness covered me again.

In a distant place ...

A ball of light hovered over a medieval castle and only a sound of laughter was audible throughout the castle. The animals, who lived in a large forest around the castle, became very afraid and fled to dens and caves, while some beings who guarded the castle bow respectfully towards the sound of laughter.

"HAHAHA" the ball of light disappeared in a black mist and an old man with a long white beard took her place.

"A contract with a special soul? What's more, a soul so new? This is simply winning the lottery!" he spoke loudly as he entered the castle.

Inside, there was a great hall and in the middle of that hall, there was a throne decorated with some golden bones, around the throne, some beings were waiting for the sovereign's return.

"Welcome back, Lord Demon God!" all beings bowed towards the old man, who passed by and sat on his throne. Then he took a glass of drink that one of his servants brought and started drinking while thinking what kind of help he would give to that soul.
