35 Ishtar

'And then I saw him, the most perfect being, it's not just my perception or appreciation but his whole self excludes perfection.'

Ishtar was strolling in a busy street of Orario when she saw him coincidentally like fate, with a mask and a goddess by his side.

She didn't know who the goddess is nor did she care because as a goddess of love and beauty she knows how lovely the man is and she already had her eye on him.

Silently she slipped off to the place of their destination as she overheard their conversation.

Ishtar still has time for the day to enjoy herself before the main course so she commanded her child to keep an eye on them.

'Ahh, I can't wait to taste him.'

The whole day she observes him when they arrive at the coliseum, the whole time she waits until she can see his face until he does.

It was when the goddess which she recognized as Hephaestus fed him with her hand, he removed his mask to receive it, and Ishtar almost voices a cry.

'Yes he is mine, I don't care I don't care I'll just charm him to be mine, yes Hephaestus can find somebody else.'

Openly she played with herself while looking at him imagining herself atop his body even with her child in the vicinity

Thankfully they were in a room dedicated to god and goddess who would like to watch the monsterphilia or else anyone who will see her will be mesmerized and be charmed.

After waiting for too long she ordered some of the highest-ranked members of her family to invite him for a drink, it is all she needs to claim her for herself.

But unexpectedly Phryne the frog-like child of hers ambushed him without warning, something that she was grateful for as she can see the intent in the kid's eyes to kill everyone if not for Phryne's restraints.

Even Tammuz or Aisha couldn't possibly fight him if he was given a chance.

"No, he is not here as he left exactly an hour ago."

Hephaestus is talking to a member of the Goibniu Familia that was tasked to ask for David's location.

Goibnui was alarmed when he didn't get back even an hour already as he had orders to finish, even his clones were gone without a word.

So immediately he asked his child to contact Hephaestus as maybe they got entangled with each other but the possibility is nil.

"Ask everyone to search for him, look especially to the alleyway!"

Hephaestus ordered everyone, she remembered him left at one when he dropped him back home.

She had a bad feeling about this as she remembers how Freya eyed her lover earlier.

'Please be safe David.'

After a few moments of nervously waiting, one of her children brings back an intricate umbrella that was found near their Familia and she was positive that this belongs to him.

"Someone call Tsubaki to come immediately!"

In an extravagant place, a long table was filled to the brim with different delicacies, everything looked lustrous and had a touch of a romantic atmosphere.

David was restrained while being hand-fed by Ishtar, she can never be too careful as even in close proximity she can't read what he is thinking.

"Please let me go goddess Ishtar. I know that there must be a misunderstanding."

Ishtar was amused at his pleading, she knows that he knows what she wants but he still wants to deny it.

"You don't have to worry David, I'm just here to drink with you, nothing else."

Seductively she offers him a drink while showing every part of her ravishing body, she even removes her upper clothes to reveal an alluring twin of beauties.

"Don't you think that it's your turn to open up to me?"

Ishtar was amazed at his willpower to restrain himself, even while sitting on his lap she didn't feel any reaction from him, but her patient is slowly wearing; she has been waiting for a whole day and his response is only a blank stare at her pair.

Bit by bit Ishtar tried to pry his mask off, she wanted to have at least a glimpse of it and be mesmerized again and after easily removing it, she kissed him passionately, tasting his lips and eating his tongue while slowly removing his clothes and hers.

With great difficulty, she tried to undress him but he was not cooperating, after breaking the kiss she saw him coldly staring at her.

"Don't try my patience goddess, I allowed you to take me here for a drink even after assaulting me, I am trying to hold back but everything has a limit."

Ishtar was shocked as even after all this time he is still not charmed, she thought that David is already at her gasp because of his silence but it seems she was greatly mistaken.

"What! How have you not been charmed yet?!"

Ishtar was confused because this never happened before, a human would be easily captivated just by looking at her body but it seems his blank look is just his reaction to her.

"Show his back to me!"

She watches as Tammuz pushes the chair where David has been tied, resulting in his face smacking on the floor.

'Tsk* thankfully he didn't bite my tongue when I kissed him or else I'll be a laughing stock in heaven.'

"Why are you wearing a bandage on your body? Are you injured or Hephaestus is just too stupid to hide your Falna."

Ishtar thought that David is a member of the Hephaestus Familia, she didn't have much time to investigate and was already too blinded by lust for him.

"Hey don't touch that or I'll f****** kill you."

Tammuz was frozen in place when he tried to take his necklace off to remove the bandage on his body, he didn't know why but it seems he would really die if he tried to.

'Finally a reaction.'

Ishtar is looking for a means to have her way with him and his reaction to his necklace is terrifying as even without any intent she was alarmed by the pressure in the surroundings.

"Oho is this important to you?"

Walking towards him with her devastating naked body, she approached David with his face on the floor, Ishtar now had an idea why he hesitated to attack her.

'It seems he knows that if I die and be sent to Tekai I can capture his soul and even obliterate it, very smart for Hephaestus to warn him but too bad I'll take his first time in exchange.'

Even with her skin crawling in trepidation her excitement overcame it with the idea of finally making love with him, abruptly she yanked the necklace off his neck.

As a Divine Artifact, the main item to create it is the cursed tear of Hephaestus, even if the gem is indestructible the cord to hold it is not.

A clunking sound echoed in the room before the gem rolled between Ishtar's legs, looking up David saw the goddess step on it and then squat near his face.

"Eat it."

With a twisted face, Ishtar motioned him to pleasure her with his mouth but suddenly her head burst like a watermelon.

David uttered a string of colorful words while his face was on the floor meanwhile Tammuz was stiffened while looking at her goddess's headless body before it disappeared in a light.

He saw firsthand how a young man in spandex killed Ishtar with a punch. Blood and gore splashed on his face before the man smiled at him with a pose.

"Dynamic Entry!"

Still in shock, he unconsciously watched as he untied David and helped him to his feet.

"Sorry for that but I had to do it myself or else the mission doesn't count! But it looks like you need my help so you're welcome!"

After his apology, the young man in spandex jumps from the high floor before shouting and disappearing in the night, Tammuz stumbles on the floor trying to catch him but he knows that no one can survive a jump from that height.

"YOUTH!"

Helpless he looks back at David that was fixing his clothes, he wants to confront him but it seems he doesn't know anything, especially how he didn't even ask the guy in the spandex to take him with him.

"This place is littered with Ishtar members so I recommend you to stay or else I would have to use force to make you."

Tammuz doesn't know what to do but pressures him to stay, her goddess just died and that news alone would warrant anyone's death.

"Make me"

Killing a god is a sin, that's what Hephaestus told me, there has never been an instance where a mortal killed a god however if that happened his soul would be punished.

That's why he had to wait if the situation would escalate and his mind to be full. His clone is made from his soul and part of his mind so when his clone killed goddess Ishtar, nothing would be related to him as he even erased his clone's soul to be safe.

He doesn't know what a god can do but he can never be careful so eliminating everything is the only way that he can be sure.

Looking at Tammuz in front of him he had to avoid killing him as he was the only witness to the event however everyone would pay, especially that frog face.

While clutching the Tears of the goddess he outstretched his right arm with his hands open while his other hand is behind him.

Summoning Lee proved to be hard as his base form is already strong. Thankfully David just leveled up yesterday and Lee doesn't use ninjutsu and genjutsu or else he won't be able to call him.

He also didn't have his umbrella with him so Rock Lee is the perfect candidate.

'I have to make a ruckus here so everyone would know that I didn't kill Ishtar.'

With a kick he stomps the ground which reverberates the floor, he is only level 3 but his hidden stat would already qualify him as a level 4 if not for that frog face ambush and immediate restrain then he could still fight them, unfortunately, he was trapped.

When everyone was alerted he rushed to attack Tammuz enough just to incapacitate him so that he could explain the situation to his fellow members.

He doesn't know if the man doesn't use a weapon but he can't see anything on him, with a consecutive punch he dislocated both of his arms and shoulder before kicking him towards the door which burst open after his comrades came.

He can barely react, with Lee's mastery of Taijutsu, David is confident that no one can beat him in pure hand-to-hand combat.

Looking at the people who rush inside he waits until Tammuz explains the situation, some were delighted while others didn't care but most of them are enraged because of their beloved goddess' demise.

"Move out! I don't care about that beach but it seems she leaves a wonderful gift! Bwahaha!"

Finally, the frog woman arrives.
