First Day

There's something important that I notice when I completed my daily exercise, I no longer need it.

With my skill Correxion constantly adjusting myself for perfection, I don't need to work out anymore to maintain my perfect shape, I don't even think that I would get older...

'Did I just achieve immortality?'

I look sadly at the still moon up in the morning sky, it's still dark when I went towards goddess Hephaestus Manor, but everyone is already awake.

On my way I felt an intense stare upon me, I just ignored it, but it's very creepy.

After arriving I waited for a few minutes before knocking at the door, the appointed time of our training is 6 in the morning and there are still a few minutes before then.

Suddenly I saw goddess Hephaestus walking toward me from one of the hallways.

I can't help but stare at her perfect beauty, I don't know if it's an inherited characteristic of all gods (except for mine) but I can see no flaw in her, except for her Eyepatch that almost covers half of her face.

I remembered that it was a curse, so horrible that anyone would run after seeing it, but I found it ridiculous, I mean come on if you exist in the age of the internet what are the worsts you haven't seen yet, I don't want to start with the 'cups' but I'm pretty confident that it was just a BS.

She greeted me with a smile, I can't help but respect her punctuality as she arrives exactly at the time.

Hephaestus asked in amusement when she notices how he appreciates her the entire time and instead of being offended, she was amused by it.

She even wondered what would his reaction be if he ever saw her cursed eye, when she saw him scoff at her Eyepatch.

She somehow felt an urge to show it to him but decided against it.

'I don't know what's wrong with me lately, but maybe it's because of our conversation yesterday.'

She inwardly shakes her head.

"Good morning to you too goddess Hephaestus, I never felt so well after a night of rest, and I'm extremely thankful for your care"

Hephaestus smiled at his extremely rigid greeting, especially how cute he is when expressing his gratitude.

"You're a guest of our Familia and even if it's temporary, I am your teacher for a month so just call me by my name"

She jokingly replied to calm him, but he just bowed respectfully.

'I wonder if Goibniu locked this kid his whole life just to forge'

She thought while inviting him inside her office and guiding him in her smithy.

Hephaestus urges him to make a knife to test his skill in forging and gauge his talent.

Before he starts he tied his hair in a bun and then secures his white Shitahi and black Kosode on his back showing his delicate arm and dainty neck in the process.

Hephaestus can only smile wryly at how refined his movement is, it looks like he's going to prepare a tea ceremony rather than forge a weapon.

Lastly, he secures his umbrella on his back, which is intriguing to her, even as a goddess of forging she couldn't see anything special on it except for its exquisite appearance.

'Maybe it's a gift from someone important to him'

With his hair tied and focused expression, she can discern the passion in his eyes, even her presence as the goddess of forging is ignored by him, a quality of a skilled blacksmith.

There's something I want to confirm, Correxion can perfect any mistakes, so I want to test it in forging.

I also want to use it as an extension of my body, like how they use chakra to enhance their weapon in Naruto world.

If I can use it with my hammer then maybe I can mold the metal better than I was before.

My problem is the goddess with me, I would never underestimate anyone, particularly a goddess of forging, I'll wait for her to leave after being bored watching me doing my usual work.

It's my first time activating Correxion while forging and after confirming it I would require only less than half of the normal time to forge this knife.

Normally a blacksmith would only need 8-10 hours, but I would need an almost full day to perfectly finish this one, but now I can finish it in 4-5 hours.

Let's wait for goddess Hephaestus to leave, and maybe I can finish this in record time.

I could already complete this, but I have yet to try my theory, goddess Hephaestus is thoroughly staring at me.

I don't know if I did something wrong, but it seems I'm taking too much time.

Furthermore, I don't know if my god mentions this to her, but I can't just suddenly improve and finish this faster than I normally can.

Finally, I normally take a whole day for something like this, but I could have finished this in 4 hours after using Correxion.

I look at goddess Hephaestus with a smile but stop at my track after seeing her expression.

'Why is she smiling even after wasting her whole day waiting for a simple knife?'

He thought when he saw her walking out of the door.

'It seems I failed'
