I gulped, biting my lower lip while staring into Hugo's pair of devious eyes. Even doing nothing, I could feel his outline. It was huge, averting my eyes away. 

"Was this how you should wake up someone?" I murmured, unable to look into his eyes. "I'm scared, Hugh."

His deep exhale blew past my hair as he hung his head low until his forehead was touching my temple. I felt tickling when his deep and hot breaths caressed my ear. 

"Fine," he muttered as he cocked his head back. "I guess it's just me and my feelings."

Hugo was about to push himself away, but I clung onto the neckline of his blouse on instinct. He raised his brows, gazing at me wide-eyed.
