Trip to Japan (5)

Ishida pulled over in front of a villa in the city. Lucas looked up at the traditional Japanese house which had a large roof with deep eaves. The walls were shaped to look like bamboo sticks and a scenic garden lay in front of it. He got out of the car and headed towards the gate where several guards stood.

Lucas flashed a red card at one of the guards who studied it before nodding.

"You may enter," he said, stepping aside. Lucas calmly glided along the pebbled walkway leading to the main house. The guards at the front of the house stepped aside to let him through. A butler in a blue yukata came forward to bow in front of him.

"Master Jeremy is waiting for you at the patio," he said in a cool tone. Lucas merely nodded and headed straight for the patio at the opposite end of the house. Jeremy sat on a mat and unsurprisingly, there was another man there: Darryl.
