Clueless Mafia

Lillian was impatiently waiting in her room, wondering what Lucas was doing in the kitchen. The staff were on their weekly leave and it was just the two of them in the main mansion. Only the guards were outside, watching over the house.

"What is he doing?" she wondered as she patted Princess Peanut. The dog was yelping happily, wagging her tail. Lillian carried her in her arms and cuddled the dog.

"Princess Peanut, is he lighting the kitchen on fire?" She sighed. "Does that mafia even know how to cook?"

"Woof!" Peanut barked.

"I have no idea what you said but you're right," Lillian nodded. She sighed and checked the clock. Her stomach was rumbling with hunger which was strange. Lillian was not a picky eater nor did she eat a lot but lately, her appetite was unpredictable. She felt hungry at odd times and it was only 7 PM.

"When is he going to be done?" She moaned. I should go and check, she decided.
