Chapter 513: Isn't She Attending?

The Baldwin Perfume's new product release conference was imminently approaching, yet, there were no confirmed reports of Monica Baldwin's scheduled appearance.

After resolving the VIP invitation list leak incident, Monica once again seemed to vanish. Her appearances grew scarce even as the acting CEO. The Baldwin employees rarely caught sight of her.

Three o'clock in the afternoon, at Crown Star Hotel where Baldwin's conference was about to commence, guests were still milling into the restrooms specifically prepared by Baldwin. Monica's own presence, however, was conspicuously missing.

In one of the restrooms, Amelia Baldwin had already changed into her dress and sat in front of the dressing table. Standing by her side were Asher Landon and a makeup artist. With scrutinizing gazes, they inspected Amelia meticulously.

"Mr. Landon, it's done." The makeup artist placed down her tools and stepped back next to Asher Landon.
