Chapter 15 The First Embarrassing Fool

"Oh... don't want to marry? Well then, let's not..." Monica Baldwin shrugged it off with a laugh, "Let's talk about it once you're not as busy."

In turn, this seemed to fluster Nathaniel Hanson. He reached out to hold onto Monica's shoulders, glaring at her, "Don't you love me anymore?"

"What about you? Do you love me?" Monica gently slipped away from his grasp, because she had promised Victor Chadwick not to have any physical contact with others.

Nathaniel was momentarily taken aback, too flustered to speak. He had never really had any feelings for Monica; more often than not, their interactions had been utilitarian. Slowly, he released his grip: "Why are you talking about love at this point? You're about to become my wife — can't you think more about me? After all the difficulty, Arianne finally got the chance to be nominated for the Top Ten of the Year. Monica, I'm just upset that you're not understanding."
