11 Chapter -11
Jatin and Dhruva went straight to the headquarters as per her order. Pythons were occupied with their usual chores of training and some went for their patrolling while another part went to receive reports from pythons working in the outskirts of Hiranga. Meanwhile sub generals of both cobra and pythons were submitting their report, Dhruva was suddenly notified and he went to receive it. About noon, Amanya arrived at the headquarters.
"Meeting with upper peers now." She informed Dhruva and Jatin.
"We will arrange it right now, commander."
Within seconds the meeting hall of Serpent Quarters was occupied by its Generals and sub generals. Amanya was standing in the dais and when all arrived she started the discussion.
"Now since all are here let me inform today's agenda;
The Decade Mekong conference.
You all should know by now that I have decided as a protest the serpents won't take part in this conference. First of all let me ask any objection?"
A silence followed. Whatever happens they will blindly follow their commander so an objection veers on impossible.
"Thank you. So I will continue.
Firstly, Even though we won't take part it doesn't mean we can shrink from our responsibility. Since the hawks will be busy in Lexicon one fourth of pythons will help in security and fill the places of hawks. The next one fourth should go to the outskirts of Hiranga, especially borders, Lexicon and backup the hawks. The next one fourth should go to the capital city and report anything unusual. The remaining one fourth should be in headquarters and should always prepare for the worst. Jatin can arrange it accordingly and report back the arrangement of each battalion. It should be done within one day.
If nothing else disperse."
Jatin and Dhruva stayed while others rushed to finish their assigned tasks.
"Amanya report.
Cobras have reported that everything is fine. They have been drenched in accordance with our instructions." Dhruv reported.
Days passed. Hiranga was as busy as a beaver. Hawks were engaged in Lexicon while Serpents were increasing their spying all over Mekong. On the other side Amai was curious about Hiranga and its so- called Serpents. To quench their curiosity and to reduce the influence of cobra in Amai; this conference is the first step. Other countries also joined with almost the same goal.
Within one month Hawks were able to change Lexicon, from hell to heaven. They made the barren land into a replica of Hiranga, a replica of its prosperity. Now all the preparation has come to an end not only for Hiranga but for the entire Mekong. Other countries and its representatives are in their final lap to reach Hiranga. Tomorrow is the d day. It's a dream come true for others; to enter Hiranga.
