Chapter 51

Kenji slowly opened the window, that's when he heard some men running.

He heard a guard talk in the transmitter "All men at sector 2A should be on high alert. Captured an intruder."

Kenji sighed and said "These idiots sure know how to get into trouble."

Kenji did want to ignore them and leave the place, but he had a guilt and also, he felt that saving them would increase his marks in the test.

So, he decided to save the others after he saves Sakura. He opened the window and slowly entered the room.

Sakura noticed Kenji and said "Kenji, save me. They lost their minds."

Kenji then immediately knocked them out. Sakura them immediately jumped into his embrace with teary eyes.

Kenji patted her head and said "I know you were scared, but we have to leave."

She didn't say anything, nor leave him. Kenji smiled and jumped out with her. He took her to the room where others were waiting.

Sara came to him and said "I didn't know they even targeted kids. They are just cold hearted."

Kenji stopped her and said "You will understand the situation shortly. For now, you have to leave this place."

Kenji then separated from Sakura and made a circle with ice. He then said "Now, what should I do to make the portal?" and the portal opened.

"Did he make that question a password or something?" Kenji wondered.

He entered the portal and Psywalk welcomed him "Welcome Kenji, you sure brought a huge amount of people with you. Still, you are the first person to bring someone with you."

They were in a Hall, which Kenji deduced that it was some Hall in the school. Kenji asked "Couldn't you use it to take us directly to Mexico? It would have saved you guys time and money."

Mole hop said "I am not public transport. Don't think of me as a mode of transportation." in an angry tone.

There were around 12 people in the Hall besides Psywalk and Mole hop.

Kenji asked Psywalk "So, I can bring them here right?" and to his surprise, Psywalk refused.

Kenji asked why and he replied "We don't know if all of them are innocent, some of them could be spies.

And also, they are from Mexico. What will they do here in America. Without passports, they will be put in jail."

Kenji sighed and said "Then at least help me take them to a safe place in Mexico, I will take care from there."

Mole hop glared at Kenji but still agreed and said "Make another portal in the base. I will connect it to the building you started your test."

Kenji thanked him and returned to the base. He said to Sakura "Go through the portal and you will reach R.S high school."

"What about you?" She asked.

"I still have work to do here." Kenji said, looking at the women behind Sara.

Sakura hugged him and said "Return back safely."

She then left through the portal. Kenji then turned to Sara and said "Now, you guys go through this portal." pointing to a portal beside the one he made earlier.

Sara nodded without questioning and entered the portal. She was surprised to see that she was in a different place.

The other women followed her and entered the portal.

Sara looked at the portal and asked Kenji "Are you not coming?"

"I will, but I still have work in the base. It seems like around 10 idiots were captured. I will go get them before they start investigating them." Kenji said and left the room.

Sara smiled and said in his head "If only everyone were like you."

She didn't know that if there appeared another Kenji in the world, hell would break loose.

Kenji then walked to a guard and looked straight into his eyes. Ripples appeared on his eyes and the guard immediately had an expressionless face.

Kenji asked "Where are the kids you guys captured?"

The guard replied with an expressionless tone "The third room in the basement."

He then said "Now, go back to doing your usual thing." and the guard continued patrolling.

Kenji made sure that no one noticed his eyes. He then went to the basement. It was easy with his current skill and when he reached the thrid room, he saw the kids trying to make a circle with their nails.

Which was a foolish idea. The walls were reinforced with steel and it was impossible to make a circle with their nails.

Their hands were bleeding. Kenji couldn't see it any longer and broke the steel door with a punch.

The candidates looked at him and were not happy seeing him. A kid with blue hair, sitting at the corner said "Another fool bites the dust."

Exactly when he finished saying that, a man from. behind shouted "Hands up"

"So, it was an ambush. No wonder I got here so easily. I was careless again. Why don't I learn from ky mistakes. I could have used my heat sense. Well, no use crying over spilt milk.

Since I am discovered and Psywalk said that these idiots are the only candidates left in the base, I guess a little commotion wouldn't hurt." Kenji said and raised his hands.

He slowly turned and when he turned, he immediately raised a ice wall before him. He then made a circle made of ice.

The portal, this time, opened immediately and Psywalk said "Hop in fast."

The kids walked into the portal. The guards started shooting the ice wall. By the time all the kids were inside the portal, they manager to break the wall.

Kenji immediately raised another wall, but in that small time gap, some bullets went past the wall and two bullets hit him.

One hit his thigh and other, his abdomen. With the other layer of ice protecting him, he immediately froze the place and hopped into the portal.

Mole hop immediately closed the portal and looked at Kenji. He said "You actually managed to pull it off kid."

Since Kenji froze his wounds, they weren't visible to anyone. All they thought was that the ice appeared when he used his quirk.

Kenji then asked "Take me to the under construction building."

Mole hop galred and said "Didn't I tell you, I am. not...." but Kenji shouted "Fast"

Everyone in the room looked at Kenji. Mole hop was also a little terrified of Kenji.

He opened the the portal and Kenji walked through it.

Sara was waiting for Kenji and when he appeared, she ran to him and asked "Are you done saving them? Are you hurt?"

Kenji ruffled her hair and walked to the women. He said to them "You are all free now. If you have a family and want to go there, I can help you get there.

As for those who don't know where to go, I know people who can help you find a job here."

Kenji spoke to Andrew after he spoke to Psywalk and asked him to arrange someone to help them.

Kenji then walked to Sara and said "I called some people to help you guys. You should be safe with them."

Kenji then started walking towards the portal. Sara wanted to say something, but he was already near the portal.

As he got closer to the portal, he felt his consciousness fading and his body becoming weaker. Then, before he could enter the portal, he. collapsed.

Sakura from the school and Sara, ran towards him to check what happened.
