98 Chapter 98: Day one II

"Are you sure that's all you're having? You know, you'll need more nutrients to recover faster." Serena commented as she watched Annalys only having soup for lunch.

"I was thinking of limiting my food intake because I would just be lying here for at least 2 weeks. That aside, I had a heavy breakfast." Annalys explained.

Serena nodded as she continued to eat. She understood that Annalys must be concerned about gaining weight, which was a normal thought process especially for ladies. "I see. So long as you don't skip meals. Anyhow, what did you want to talk about?" she asked. 

Annalys grinned, her eyes turning to crescents as her cheeks turned pink. "Serena, you have no idea how happy I am right now. His grace, ehem… Charlton, really seems to reciprocate my feelings this time. I can't believe how kind and chivalrous he is, and… ah! I can't even believe this is happening to me. Tell, me, am I dreaming?" she asked joyfully.
