Chapter 118: Revelation IV

When Serena arrived at the evening soiree hosted by duke Ligeti, it was already 8 in the evening. The MC wanted to announce her presence, but she declined for she heard the music inside still playing and aside from that, she wanted to catch Charlton by surprise. 

She entered the ballroom and heard the song 'can't help falling in love' being sang and felt nostalgic. Was Charlton feeling the same? She wondered. She looked around the room, and there she saw him. It seems that he was watching and listening to whoever was singing intently.

She looked at who was singing and recognized the lady as duke Ligeti's granddaughter, lady Larissa. Although they did not interact much given that the younger lady just debuted, she still recognized her because, well, there's not a long of blonde hair blue-eyed ladies around. Anyhow, her version of the song was truly an orgasmic delight to the ears.
