Time

His jaw clenched hard and she could see it she tried majority of the things but he was still unrelenting. Why, why must this happen now she could unfortunately feel his sincerity, honesty and more he was pure, faithful and she could for some reason sense and see it but why her?, why was this happening to her he would suffer terribly.

"As if one would stand there and let you"

"Shall one take that as a yes?"

"If you can see that I do, then why me?" She spoke with a stern voice as she could feel the power emanating from him. "Know this Prince that you will hurt, you will ache because expecting hurts, think what will you gain from this if you are so pure go to someone else otherwise you will regret it" there was a hidden message, a distinct raw pain that her eyes were trying to show him, he saw way to clearly but the minute it forcefully appeared she had suppressed it. It was like it was never there what was that?

What she did not realise was that she was just adding fuel to his current fire, it started off with a spark which turned to a slowly lighting fire and now when the fire is burning she is adding fuel, no he thought it's way too late now. In fact it was late from the minute she had taken a step within that maze.

"I shall take my leave, 2 days that is all one gives for I shall hear the final answer before midnight that falls on the last day."

Aurora had deliberately left her decision for the last day. Josephine was aware of what the duke had said but did not want to speak with Aurora just yet. Knowing her she would want to give Aurora some time to think however this lead to the second day and she only had hours left before midnight.

Josephine knew and could always tell Aurora was very distant her body was present, she was elsewhere. Josephine only wanted what was best for her child and when she thought of the duke she believed that he was god sent. The lord had everything planned for his beings that too a certain time in life. Josephine understood that the lord would never give it before time nor after whatever was in your destiny would happen when the time came. .

So Josephine decided she would go and talk to Aurora soon, she would have too. Aurora was sitting on her window seat staring outside of the window. She was thinking over and over about what he said

She looked into the light filled sky. Is this what was planned in her life and destiny that she did not even have a choice.

Josephine knocked on Auroras door.

"Come in"

"Is everything well aunt?, how are you?"

"Indeed it is"

Josephine went and sat next to Aurora. She was looking intently at Aurora examining her and then turned to look outside. Aurora could feel her aunts eyes on her. She knew why her aunt came to talk to her.
