The visit

Aurora had just started to make her way to the stable not realising that her aunt was in the middle of a conversation with someone.

"It is very unexpected of a visit specifically such a place in the early hours of the morning, is everything well?" Josephine spoke whilst she sat with this someone.

True the time was only 5:30 in the morning and someone had come this early that to the duke.

Josephine wondered if everything was ok she had met with the duke once before since it was for business purposes however this was quite unexpected.

Jason had a calm aura as usual "indeed it is for I have come today with a proposal which required one to come early I hope you don't mind"

Josephine nodded in understanding the duke mentioned early so it must be a really important proposal "I understand duke, but you needn't come here by yourself and that to this early. We could have had a prior date and met up at our usual meeting point."

Jason could tell that Josephine was worried since even him, himself could not control his restlessness. He just wanted to get this proposal across as soon as possible. That is the reason why he came early, it was as if his body was in control and he was just forced to move along.

Josephine thought that one the reasons why the duke could have come is because of an urgency in the business which she did not have any awareness about so she listened carefully.

"Lady Josephine there is nothing to be worried about. If I may I am here with a different type of proposal." He could see that Josephine was listening thoroughly and gave her full attention to what was being said.

"I would like to ask for your daughters hand in Marriage" the duke sat visually composed but he felt unexplainable on the inside the minute he uttered those words.

Josephine coughed on her saliva "…. ,I beg you a pardon" she was left utterly stunned she wouldn't imagine what came out of this dukes mouth she was sure that she would be dreaming but at the same time she knew this was so real.

"I do not understand could you care to elaborate?"

So this was the proposal he was talking about all along?

"I have come today to seek your blessings and to give a proposal in marriage for the hand of your daughter, I thought that's..."

"I apologise prince Jason, is this some kind of joke from my understanding you have never met my Aurora, she has only heard of the duke but never met him so why out of all the princess and other women would you ask personally for Auroras hand?"

Jason knew that he would have to explain he could tell just by looking at Josephine how much she loved her niece,since he could tell that there bond was more than aunt and niece. That was one of the reasons why he chose to come early so he could explain and not make it seem like he was some random duke playing around with women and leaving them especially not to Aurora or her aunt.
