Say My Name

The Morning sunlight seeped in through the windows of the castle casting a warm glowing light upon the whole castle. Aurora awoke from her peaceful slumber.

There was a knock at the door. When Aurora sat up on the couch looking around only to see he was not there. "Thank god the one time he is not finally here to pester me".

"Come in"

"Good morning princess, would you like any help this morning." An elderly woman came in on Jason's command despite him knowing Aurora would say otherwise.

"What is your name?" The lady got up from her bow and spoke with her face looking down at the ground. "My name is Beth, princess".

"Have you been working here for long Beth, you needn't look down when speaking with me." Aurora spoke with her strong voice yet the lady could detect a certain kindness.

"Since the very beginning of the castles history." when she looked up at Aurora she calmly carried on "one is an old vampire princess Aurora. I have been here for over 500 years one could even say when the castle was being built. Some vampires were lucky enough to be blessed with long lives. I served everyone who came and left. One witnessed things change with time for Several masters came several masters left. Then one day young duke Jason arrived."

Aurora noticed how the woman spoke with manners. She could see how the woman had crisp white hair. Tied in a low bun, her light green eyes stared back at Aurora whilst she spoke. She seemed humble and looking a little bit closer one could see the eldery lady's hard work engraved all over her skin. Showing just how many years she had served the generations.

"If one was to ever ask you for help or guiandance would you be able to help me."

"Off course princess, that is my job to serve you and the duke. One would be more than happy." Aurora stood up " could you get me a warm bath ready please?"

"Indeed princess would you like anything else?"

"No, that is all thank you" Beth faintly smiled at the new princess and left to do her job.

Once Aurora came out she dried her hair with a towel. When she sat infront of the dressing table she looked down upon her right wrist. She touched her bangle recalling the words he had spoken yesterday. Her Lips set in a thin line. "Why do I feel that whatever he speaks is the truth and not some random coated words as men causally do. Why do I even feel this? I need to get out of here as soon as possible. He can find someone else maybe there has been a misunderstanding."

Whilst Aurora was busy reminding herself. Two people stood alone in a study talking. Jason stood infront of his long windows. "Yes prince Jason, princess Aurora is getting ready now."

"That's good did Aurora say anything else?" Beth looked up at her master. "No she did not, she just inquired a little bit about me that's all."

"Thank you for your help Beth please make sure you do what you need to."

"Do not worry for one has prepared for what was spoken of before."

Beth left the study. But something was on Jason's mind. 'She has not said one thing yet. I want to hear it from her lips. Since I have met her up until know I want to hear my name from her'. With that Jason made his way to were Aurora was sitting.

Aurora was just finished putting on her grey shoulder cardigan when she heard another knock. "Come in."

Jason entered. Seeing Aurora look for something. On the other hand Aurora did not realise who it was that entered the room.

"Where is the...… Auroras voice trialed off when she turned to see Jason stand there looking at her as if he was going to attack her any minute. It was as if she was the prey and he the predator. His eyes glued upon her every movement.

Jason's sense was being disturbed by his heaven blessed scent. His vampgon was threating him. Urging him but Jason had to control.

" you know There is something you have not said yet."

"What do you mean?" Auroras stern voice resonated in the room.

"Say it" Jason stood infront of the door, whilst he stared at her with an unwavering gaze. The door shut and locked behind him.

"Say what, what do you want me to say?"

The atmosphere changed instantly within the room like a ticking time bomb about to explode within a certain time limit.

"You know very well Rora, don't make me come there otherwise you will not like what happens next."

Oh she knew what he was talking about, she knew very well.

"I don't know what you are taking about stop talking to me."

He took some steps closer deliberately emphasising on his footsteps so it could deliberately echo harder. Aurora went round the big room and went towards the door. When she put her hand on the door handle it was locked. She tried again and again but try as she might the door was jammed.

'Looks like you have a tendency to trap things within a room' Aurora thought to herself.

"Looks like I have a little wild animal loose in the castle Who loves to run and play hide and seek."

She turned towards him "Actually your right because when the predator is that hideous is it not obvious that the innocent animal would want to hide" she smirked an evil one at him.

There was a knock at the door. "Princess Aurora breakfast has been served." Baileys voice was heard from the other side of the door. Aurora stared into Jason's sapphires shooting her evil smile at him. "Could you open the door Bailey?"

Once the door was opened Aurora turned and left the room upon Bailey noticing Jason Standing in the room he was just about to address him when he saw a deathly glare come towards him. Whatever he was about to say got stuck In his throat.

"Uu…..ddd.. J" Bailey hurriedly left.

"I will get it out of that untamed juicy mouth no matter what". His eyes flashed with mischief leaving his sclera turning black and veiny.
