Early in the morning , Alonzo suddenly shed his skin in a blink of an eye and it seems that the exchange of their energy last night was the cause of it . Although he had already finished shedding his old skin , his color still remained light and new. His eyecaps in his snake form finally were finally removed and his cloudy eyes regained the color of gold in it .
Alonzo immediately sat up and cooked breakfast for his pregnant female . He may feel a bit sensitive right now but he couldn't let his female cook for himself. He would become useless if he let that happen . How can he become a qualified husband and father if he neglected his wife just like that?
Xinn looked at the food in the tray and chuckled helpessly. " I'm eating congee again? "
Alonzo sat on the edge of the bed and answered. " We just finished having intense copulation. It's not good for you if you eat heavy food. "
" I know " Xinn answered and brought a spoon to his mouth. He then nodded when he tasted it and complimented that it tastes good. " Not bad. "
Alonzo smiled then extended his hands to rub Xinn's belly.

During the fall season , the couple didn't do anything much to prepare for the winter because both of them could survive the winter without any difficulty.
The difference between the couple's situation and the tribes in the primitive world was like heaven and a muddy earth.
During primitive times , most of the primitive people died of diseases and hunger. There's a limited knowledge about food preservation ,and hunting in a cold temperature is not easy. Hunting in winter is supposed to be easy as animals leave tracks on the snow , unfortunately not all could capture an animal that could hide in the snow. Fortunately , unlike the primitive era in Xinn's modern world where the medical field is not too advanced causing the mortality rate of primitive people dying to risen , this primitive world's people has a much stronger immune system and cold resistance because of their genes , the only problem for them are the vulnerable females .
The creek in the east was clear and the flow of water was not as fast as before . Several females waited at the downstream and laid several leather below to catch fish . The old females on the other hand picked up some wild plants and stored them in the cell . Everyone in the tribe started wearing hides around their body as the temperature has now started dropping .
The females in the Red Fox Tribe met the females in the Margay Tribe and became friends with each other .
Everyone bis talking about stocking foods in their homes and everyone is worried for their health during winter . Any females could get extremely sick in the middle of the winter and the medicinal practice of a primitive witch isn't as impressive as the modern doctors . Everyone said good luck surviving the winter and bid each other a temporary farewell .
Alonzo exited the cave and hunted in the forest to stuff his stomach enough for him to last winter . However , Alonzo noticed that the preys in the forest have lowered in number . Alonzo was already used to this and decided to stop the predation , thinking of letting the animals to mate first and reproduce before hunting them .
When he returned to the cave with a slightly full stomach , he saw his female staring at their cave. Alonzo came behind him and pecked his lips before asking . " What's wrong? "
" I think we should build a stove in the living room to warm up the cave during winter. If we use the gas fueled generator in the space , it would be too loud all night . So it would be better if the we substitute the heater with a stove .
Snakes are ectothermic species. Alonzo may be afraid of fire but he needs heat to regulate his body and get energy. That's why most people in modern world would find a snake in the middle of the road basking under the sun . They are like solar panel that charges their body with heat or sun light , heat also helps them to regulate their blood and increase their metabolic rate . Snakes could last long in winter because there is mostly no sun or heat that could help them digest their food . That way , they would hibernate and save up energy and food , and will only wake up at a certain time. if they have a stove to warm up the cave , his Alonzo might not hibernate.
Alonzo nodded hearing his idea. " Ok , let's build a stove in the living room . "
Xinn smiled at him ." No , it's you who will be building it . I'm pregnant , I can't do heavy work. "
Alonzo chuckled. " Of course , do you really think I would let you do that kind of work . Just leave it to me . "
" The tools are located in the storage room behind the poultry farm ."
Alonzo nodded then exited the cave. Once Alonzo disappeared , Xinn sat down on the sofa with a tired expression. A female gestation of a snake egg is around three to five months , and his babies is already more than a month old . His stomach now has a small bump . He is now experiencing a much more intense morning sickness , back and hip pain , weakness and nausea.
Although he no longer vomit such as before , he on the other hand has now began on craving to eat weird foods. Such as the sausage he made dipped in chocolate spread ( Nutella ) , sour junk foods dipped in ice cream ( he got it from the space ) , spaghetti between two toasted bread and etc .
Alonzo at that time also took a taste but then said it tasted weird and are not good combinations. Xinn was irritable at that time and kicked Alonzo out of the bedroom to sleep on the living room. Fortunately , the snake did not get angry and obediently slept in the living room .
Xinn rested his back on the sofa back rest and rubbed his bumpy tummy . It kinda feel weird and he hated it whenever he vomited , because the feeling he gets when vomiting is like when he was having anxiety.
Anxiety isn't a good experience actually , you would feel like your stomach is churning and your life should end because you did something wrong . He often experienced this when he was unable to pass his project in school and then he is doomed to get failing grades.
Xinn closed his eyes and vaguely heard knocking sounds in the cave but still end up falling asleep , by the time he opened his eyes , he is now in the bedroom , being hugged by a perverted snake.
Xinn closed his eyes again and began nourishing his babies with spiritual energy . Whenever he felt his stomach aching , he would stop whatever is he doing and take the time to send spiritual energies to his babies . Whenever he did this , he felt like the bond he has with his babies is becoming closer and closer . Xinn is sure that they would grow to be good kids .
Alonzo put his hands over Xinn's stomach and also sent his own spiritual energy inside. Xinn smiled at the handsome man and kissed his lips. " A pleasant morning for you , dear. "
Alonzo hummed and rubbed the tip.pd their noses together. " You're still as beautiful as before , darling. "
" What beautiful? Can't you see that I'm becoming chubbier these days? "
Alonzo arc up his brows and chuckled. " So what? Chubbies are cute . "
Xinn enlarged the hole in his nose and stared at Alonzo . His eyes telling. ' you're done , you're done ' .
Alonzo laughed. " It's true!!! Have you seen the thinny females in the Margay Tribe? They are not as beautiful as the plumpy you. "
" Shut up for me!!! Alonzo! " Xinn
" I'm telling the truth , darling! " Alonzo
" I don't need the truth! " Xinn frowned and slapped the perverted snake's hands away .
" Baby , I'm just being honest. " Alonzo tried hugging Xinn .
" Then your honesty is making me irritable. " Xinn frowned then pushed the handsome man's face away .
" Ok ok , darling, you calm down for me , ok? Breathe. "
Xinn subconsciously breath, then immediately slapped the mischievous snake.
" Hahahaha "
Xinn was infected by the handsome man's smile . His mouth twitched then couldn't stop himself from smiling . " Fool "

Xinn immediately stood up and took out a sweeper and exited the cave . Alonzo on the other hand went to the poultry and fed the turkey and chickens inside. Right now , the chickens were surprisingly silent but if one looks closer they would notice that they are actually afraid of the one who's feeding them .
Alonzo glanced at them coldly then exited the poultry before pulling out weeds in the cropland . When he looked up , he could see his female from a far , sweeping the dry leaves that had fallen from the towering trees.
When they finished what they were doing . Xinn suddenly held his hands . Alonzo stopped his movements and tilted his head in confusion.
" Let's go to the cliff . " Xinn smiled
Alonzo stared at his female's smile and couldn't help falling deeper again . Although Xinn has now turned rounder , he still remained attractive and beautiful in his eyes. Xinn was originally described as handsome in his hometown , but here in the primitive world , Xinn has forgotten to cut his hair and now looked more like a female in the primitive world , although he still retained his handsomeness , his looks now tilted to the androgynous type of beauty .
Before Xinn could speak again , Alonzo suddenly pulled Xinn's waist and caressed his cheeks .

Alonzo came down and captured Xinn's lips . The cold wind of the autumn passed by . The yellow and orange leaves on the ground slightly swayed , creating a picturistic picture of the two shadows leaning each other to a kiss .
The atmosphere feels gentle and there's an aura of an old love around the couple . As if they loved each other for decades already .
Alonzo said his daily confession again . " Darling , I love you . " He said in his low , magnetic voice near to Xinn's ears .
Xinn felt slightly ticklish in his ears and blushed. " I love you too , Alonzo . "
Xinn looked up and stared at the handsome man's golden slit eyes with gentle as and relaxed expression with a trace of love within it. The two men's head were close to each other , their nose touching each other's tips .
They look like they were shooting for a romance drama but they were in reality actually just doing their daily dose of intimacy .
