Real or illusion? Chapter 51

"Henry, what is it? Where are we now?" asked Dean and Sam, stunned by the sudden change of scenery. Leaving them surprised by the sight, now totally different.

The old house had now been transformed into a large, destroyed building, totally abandoned by time. Leaving the Winchesters and Max exposed to the open air, thanks to the totally destroyed wall.

Looking through the huge hole in the living room of the building, Sam noticed that the old animated city now didn't exist. Only huge flames tens of meters long were pouring out of the city, and screams of despair echoed through what had once been a place full of people, sending chills down Dean, Sam and Max's spines as the sounds of pain and torture echoed through the city.

"Look over there, this is just a small part of the future... the real future is going to be a hundred... a thousand times worse."

Following his finger to where Henry was pointing, Max, still in a trance from the change, followed the direction along with the Winchesters, who turned their heads slowly, only to see a vision that was hallucinatory, to say the least...

The illusion was real to the point of being 99% real, the first large-scale illusion launched by Henry. It cost only half his mana to create the scene in front of them, but it was an illusion that encompassed all the senses of the human body and mind.

The place was a circle with no real estate or cars nearby, everything that had once existed for thousands of miles was back to dust and ashes. Leaving only several divine beings with white wings several meters long, human in appearance but with a heavenly touch. Exuding a pure energy that overflowed from their wings.

"Samy, am I crazy or do those look like angels...? Dean asked, watching in awe as the angels flew at jet-like speeds.

The winged angels seemed to be waging war with other beings in the air and on the ground. Fighting monsters with hideous appearances, their figures seemed to have come out of horror movies. some with goat heads, bat wings and horns curved or pointed towards the sky.

Others had a deformed face or no face at all, leaving people curious as to how they managed to see without eyes. Their limbs and bodies seemed to be burnt and deformed to the extreme, causing chills and fear for anyone who looked.

"ATTACK THESE BEINGS FROM HELL! "

"KILL THOSE DAMN BIRDS!"

"DIE!!!! "

The two factions fought a brutal battle, dozens of spears of white energy being hurled at high speed at the demons below, making the enemies dodge with extreme dexterity.

But the widespread attacks ended up hitting the humans who stood in the way or in their homes, hiding and trembling with fear.

But it seemed pointless when the spears stunned men, women and children to death, resulting in countless deaths as well as the unlucky ones who didn't manage to die instantly, suffering countless tortures after being stabbed from top to bottom.Brutally massacred and tortured....

"Why are they doing this? Henry... they're angels, right?" asked Sam, his voice shaking in disbelief, as the beings his parents prayed to protect were torturing and killing unresponsive humans.

"Sam... Not everything we know is the truth, Angels are beings of evil or coldness similar to demons... they're just less ugly." Listening to Sam's voice tremble, Henry felt that perhaps he had overdone the creation. But he knew it was necessary if they were to save the world. They would have to go through this.

The angelic faction seemed oblivious to the presence of Henry, Max and the Winchesters. Even after killing the humans. Some even mocked those who had been killed.

On the other side, the Demon Faction seemed weaker, but far superior in numbers compared to the angels, their mouths spouting red flames. Expelling several angels with their greater numbers.

While other wounded demons ate the unlucky humans who passed by, recovering their wounds after consuming blood and fresh meat.

Looking at the winged humanoid beings and hideous demons that killed people like cabbage, Dean felt his hand tremble, his vision and mind short-circuit. Leaving only his body on automatic as he leaned towards his gun.

His mind seemed to try to find solace for his trembling body, his mouth unable to respond to people's cries for help, leaving Dean unable to understand that it was an illusion. Even so, Sam and Henry's voices didn't seem to reach his ears, only a buzzing mixed with cries of pain repeated themselves.

"This can't be the future... Dad, Samy, Mom... everything I'm fighting to protect, was it just a joke?" Dean seemed to be talking to himself, sighing and continuing to repeat the phrase that came out of his mouth unconsciously...

Even Max felt his vision change, if this was really just a part of the future. He couldn't understand what the real thing would be like... it was too dark...

"Calm down, everyone! This is just a small part of the future, but now that it's no longer "ours", now that we know what's going to happen. We can change... everything."

"I'm showing you this because we need to unite, the world depends on us! "

Looking at the Winchester brothers and Max Miller close to mental collapse, Henry realized it was time to intervene. He knew it was dangerous to show the future, but he needed this action, something that would help him in his next actions.

Holding his brother by the shaking arm, Sam looked at Henry who maintained a serious expression, totally different from before.

"Angels and demons are powerful... very powerful, but we can defeat them."

"In the future I'll be able to transmit some powers to you, but at the moment I can't accomplish that feat, so we need to be careful with our actions... We've been watched by archangels and demons for a long time... but that's something I'll talk to you about later."

Expressing his sincere opinions, Henry looked at everyone around him, his voice filled with seriousness. He knew that his words would create new doubts in the Winchesters, but they would soon be cleared up... sometimes knowing too much was deadly.

Dean and Sam's expressions were doubtful about the truth of Henry's words, but remembering the battles and displays of power, that doubt was soon erased.

" Are you kidding me? Give me powers? You think you're a God? I might work for you, but I'm not going to live on lies! " With a voice full of mockery, Max didn't take Henry's words seriously. He thought it impossible for a human to be able to grant powers capable of fighting the divine and infernal creatures in front of him.

"Max, I understand your disbelief. But as I said before, our world... universe is much bigger than you think, even seeing mythological gods walking down the street will be normal in a few years... I hope I can change your mind after you agree to work with me."

"Now I'm going to show you what a fight between high-level beings is like, open your eyes wide because you'll soon reach that level if you remain loyal to my help and friendship..."

Turning his body towards the huge hole in the building, Henry left a few words before jumping from the fifteenth floor, leaving Dean and Sam startled and Max incredulous at the action.

" FUCK ME ! HENRYY "

"FUCK HENRY! YOU'RE CRAZY! "

Running with their hearts beating a thousand times a second, Dean and Sam rushed towards the spot where Henry had jumped, anxious and worried to see their friend shattered by the enormous height.

But what was seen stunned the Winchesters and Max: Henry rose into the air with his blue wings, shooting off at a speed comparable to angels. His figure blurred as he advanced towards the angels and demons below.

"System, buy the Valkyrie's version of the death of the mutant Mirage X.
