35 On horseback Cap 33

Doubts permeated my mind, maybe the reaper won't attack me because I'm not from this world, maybe I can't see him for that reason.

"Maybe I don't have a library or a book with my death written on it...or it could be another reason, I'll think about it later."

Not being able to see the grim reaper would put me at a great disadvantage, not to mention the fact that he would only be after Dean, putting me under stress to defend his invisible blows.

I could simply go after the woman, but she's already fled far away, so it would be a contest of finding her first or whether Dean dies first against the reaper, something I didn't want to put into practice at first.

I thought about using observation to override her invisibility, but the system didn't make it easy when it sent a message that the reaper's risk was light yellow.

The reaper paused only for a moment before continuing to attack, its scythe sweeping hard towards us in an attempt to break Dean in half.

But even though Dean could see the creature, he seemed unable to react to the speed of the blow, prompting Henry, who was watching the situation, to act.

Feeling only the wind of the attack, but not knowing the right spot, Henry moved in front of Dean, creating an enormous full-body shield made of energy.

Blocking the blow, Henry felt his body slide across the ground, resulting in his feet leaving huge gullies in the ground as he slid back three meters.

"What enormous strength, I'm not surprised, a being responsible for taking life should be of this level at the very least..."

"DEAN! GET OFF SAM! I GOT HIM!"

After defending the blow, I invested towards the location where I received the blow, forming two huge swords of energy, launching several blows in random directions.

Most of the blows only hit the air, leaving me worried, but when I felt a contact on the edge of the blade, I instantly increased my energy output, launching the reaper flying to the second floor.

"You can be invisible, but the air takes off with any movement..."

I thought, then I felt a slight breeze in my ear, I knew that the reaper was advancing towards Dean who was untying Sam from the pillar.

Concentrating all my attention, I focused my gaze on the movements in the air near the brothers, seeing a slight shift to Dean's left, causing me to lunge forward.

My speed was just a blur as I reached Winchester's side, parrying a powerful blow with my swords.

"AWAY!"

The two swords began to move in my hands, spinning at high speed, forming a small blue tornado, hitting the reaper and sending him flying across the site, breaking several timbers in the process.

Without losing momentum, I leapt towards the second floor of the shed with a huge leap into the air, consuming a thousand mana points, forming a powerful real illusion next to me.

RILINCHINN

As my body began to lose to gravity, a huge creature tore through the air, positioning itself underneath me.

The great creature was equine-like, completely made of dark bones, its wings bat-like, a long broad tail extended from its spine and on its head, small horns facing the sky existed.

The great winged horse was the thestral, a magical animal of Harry Potter's, usually connected to death by its lineage, Henry sensed that he could see the reaper, as he watched the creature that had recovered, rise towards the brothers.

"Come on, my great companion!"

RILINCHINN

Commanding the bone horse that charged vigorously towards the reaper, I returned one of my swords, leaving me with only a two-handed sword.

Increasing the mana conversion by eight hundred points, I lengthened the sword, which glowed brightly in dark blue, like a small Excalibur.

Reinforce!

Without ceasing my actions, I used reinforce, doubling the strength of my attack, causing ripples in the air, my hands began to burn, causing a grimace of pain to appear on my face.

"Looks like my body can't hold much mana, I'll have to find a solution after this battle..."

" DEAN! SAM! GET AWAY NOW!!!!"

Dean and Sam, who were dodging the newly recovered reaper's blows, stopped their dodges after hearing Henry's urgent voice.

"FUCK! EXCALIBUR? RUN SAM! GO GO GO!!! "

Looking away from the scene, they noticed the huge five-meter sword, which glowed brightly, melting everything around it, causing the brothers to shoot with all their speed towards the exit, managing to get through the door before a huge explosion erupted.

BOOMMM

The blast radius completely destroyed the shed, leaving only a huge 15-meter hole.

"Whew, I thought the explosion would be bigger, bloody Henry, DO YOU WANT TO KILL US?"

"Dean... Look in front of the explosion site... That's impossible... That's just not human!"

"What are you talking about...FUCK ME, THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!"

Dean's mouth instantly dropped open, he couldn't believe the sight before him, his brother was silent but his face showed his shock.

A huge 40-meter gash appeared at the epicenter of the explosion, the cut was clean and deep, as if someone had cut the earth with a huge blade.

"So that's what I'm capable of..."

Henry thought, looking at the destruction and the huge gash in the earth, but the blow didn't come without side effects, as his hands showed large burn marks, as well as a large consumption of mana that made him feel slightly tired.

"Go after the shepherd's wife, even though the blow was powerful, the reaper is immortal and will recover in minutes.

Dean, hearing the words, dissipated his shock momentarily, firing in the direction the shepherdess had fled.

After a few minutes, I felt the trestálio send a warning, I knew the reaper was recovering, but I had no plans to contain him until the brothers got the necklace.

Leaping off the horse with a leap, I stepped back, commanding my thestral to attack the healing reaper, which didn't hesitate before firing with great speed, delivering a slashing blow with its wings.

The reaper tried to dodge and get around the animal in an attempt to strike me, but the animal sensed its enemy's actions, leapt up with a flap of its wings and stomped down hard on the reaper, immobilizing the creature on the ground.

An idea ran through my mind, it might work or it might not. Advanced on the reaper at full speed, activating my onslaught and turning into a confused blur.

But the reaper recovered quickly from his injuries, managing to disengage himself from the testalium's heavy hooves. He seemed to sense that by killing the summoner, the powerful creature would disappear, so he advanced towards me, making me feel only a breeze, unable to see the being that was striking me.

His blow came like the wind, I was surprised that for the first time in the battle, he reacted to my actions, but I realized that the last blow must have made the reaper feel danger, even if he was immortal.

Dodging with a slight jump, I touched his shoulder while he was still in the air, and a huge grid of blue energy formed around him, trapping the fiercely fighting reaper.

The reaper tried to escape by hitting the cage, but I reinforced the bars with more mana, ending his escape attempt.

After a few minutes I felt the reaper end its attacks on the bars, it seemed that Dean had managed to break the control amulet.

From the moment I released the reaper, he would kill the woman who had previously controlled him.

"There are some people I'll save, others don't deserve my forgiveness..."

Disintegrating the cage, I felt the reaper's presence disappear from the shed...my mind a little unsettled, wondering if I had made the right choice....
