13 Yumegakure

During the trip to the Hills of Illusions, Takahashi helps Yakumo absorb the Ido little by little and learns how to use senjutsu. With the Ido being absorbed, Yakumo's cursed mark becomes useless. It takes three months to arrive at the moist and misty Forest of Mythic Beasts. Takahashi and Yakumo quickly find the Hill of Illusions and survey the surrounding area. Takahashi nods in satisfaction before summoning his owls to confirm the Hill of Illusions as the sage region of the Owl Clan.

A snow owl doubled the size of a human is materialized on the side of Takahashi. Takahashi gets familiar with the owl, summons his owls, and teaches them and Yakumo senjutsu. Takahashi spends the next two years increasing the owl population of the Hill of Illusions and mastering Sage Mode. The giant snow owl mastered Sage Mode shortly after Takahashi to become the Snow Owl Sage.

Takahashi enters his inner sanctum and sees a giant whitish-blue snow leopard cub composed of snow and lightning in a cage. He walks towards the snow leopard to pet it when its lightning spreads in defense. Takahashi bypasses the lightning and begins petting the snow leopard. The snow leopard purrs and the lightning recedes into its fur.

"Your name will be Raijū; now, let's get you out of this cell," Takahashi says while he frees Raijū from his cell and changes his inner sanctum.

The new appearance of his inner sanctum is that of a mountain range. There are also different animals for Raijū to prey upon when it's feeling lonely. For the next half a year, Takahashi spends four hours with Raijū. One day, Takahashi's bonding time with Raijū is cut short by a notification.

As Takahashi accepts the mission and descends the Hill of Illusions with Yakumo, Team 10 led by Yamato arrived at the base of the Hill of Illusions. Team 10 and Takahashi comes face to face not long after. Greetings are exchanged before the situation is discussed. After the discussion, Takahashi summons the Snow Owl Sage to help Team 10 get a clear view of the area. He then commands the Snow Owl Sage to go to a lava cavern, not far from Yumegakure. He arrives at the cavern to see Lee and Neji fighting a Nine-Tailed Fox. He drops Team 10 and Yakumo and leaves. Takahashi uses the Eye of Heaven to find the Three-Headed Guardian Beast.

When he arrives at the Three-Headed Guardian Beast's location, he witnesses Sasuke stabbing an elderly man with a Chidori Spear before the man is absorbed by the Three-Headed Guardian Beasts. After the elderly man is absorbed, the Three-Headed Guardian Beast's appearance change.

At first, it was a white lion bodied giant monster with dark purple spots. There's beige armor above its main head with its other two heads coming from each side. Each head has yellow-green markings under their eyes and thin sharp teeth. After absorption, it's covered with dark grey armor with pinkish-red markings and a pink armor covers its underbelly. The original armor increase in size and gains spikes. The end of its tail also gains spikes. The heads' necks grow longer. The heads are cover with purple armor with spikes and red markings and their teeth are larger.

The Three-Headed Guardian Beast roars and stuns everyone in the area. Takahashi recovers and enters Sage Mode. He then begins battle with the Three-Headed Guardian Beast.

Crystal Release: Houyi's Arrow," Takahashi says before firing nine jade-green crystal arrows at the Three-Headed Guardian Beast. The arrows shatter upon contact. "Crystal Release: Jade Crystal Prison."

The Three-Headed Guardian Beast is encased in crystal. The crystal shatters but the Three-Headed Guardian Beast doesn't disintegrate as expected. Team 7, excluding Sakura, joins the battle. The Three-Headed Guardian Beast emits chakra from its body and slashes at Takahashi and Team 7, poisoning anyone who is touched by its claws. Ten minutes later, Takahashi's Sage Mode ends, increasing the strength gap between him and the Three-Headed Guardian Beast.

"Magnetic Cube."

The Magnetic Cube is fired at Three-Headed Guardian Beast and the Three-Headed Guardian Beast fires a purple-pink chakra beam from its mouth. The beam easily destroys the Magnetic Cube and continues to Takahashi. As the beam is about to make contact with Takahashi, his eyes become grey with vertical slit pupils, and lightning spreads from his body from to defend him. The beam collides with the lightning as Takahashi transforms.

Takahashi grows creamy white fur with dark blue doughnut-shaped spots on his upper body with the fur on his belly being slightly lighter. He also grows a long tail and long, retractable nails. His ears change to that of a snow leopard.

Takahashi extends his right palm, with lightning spreading from it, towards the beam and blocks it. The beam slowly shapes into a Tailed Beast Bomb. The lightning spreading from Takahashi's hand merges with the Tailed Beast Bomb. The color of the Tailed Beast Bomb changes from purple to silver and black. Takahashi charges at the Three-Headed Guardian Beast.

"Raijū Bomb," Takahashi says as the Raijū Bomb grinds into the Three-Headed Guardian Beast. An atomic explosion occurs as a result of Takahashi's attack. Silver lightning strikes everything within the explosion's proximity. Despite utilizing the Three-Headed Guardian Beast's beam, the Raijū Bomb depletes all of Takahashi's remaining chakra.

After completing the mission, Takahashi grows three new tails before canceling the transformation.
