Chapter 23 Battle of two Lucia!!  

"So, you have arrived…" Alpha jumps down from the pillar.

*tap!* Winds spread as she touched the ground and her clothes and hair flowed in the air. The winds even reached Lucia and she also happened the same as Alpha.

(A/N: I will refer to Original Lucia as 'Alpha' and our MC will use the name 'Lucia'.)

Alpha's aura start to rise and she hold the sheathed sword at the hip in a composed stance. Lucia could see blue metallic energies were gathering toward Alpha.

"!?"

As someone who likes to play the 'Alpha' character in the PGR game, she knows there will be multiple sword waves going to release to her. Alpha's red eye shine brightly red and she unsheathe the sword and slash diagonally.

The sword is shining in blue color and it releases a crescent moon-shaped light-blue color sword wave. She slashed a few more times in mid-air and continued to release multiple sword waves. Some were diagonal, some were vertically or horizontally.

Luckily her speed is super high because of reaching level 40. She dodged those sword waves smoothly.

Alpha uses the 'Lightbreak Strike' skill and increases her movement speed. As Alpha rushes to Lucia, many light-blue color transparency afterimages of Alpha can be seen from her body. She slashes diagonally to Lucia and Lucia responds with opposite diagonally slash to counter the sword. The swords recoiled back because of the powerful impact and the floor broke from the pressure.

*Tang!*

*Bang!*

"Wait! Listen to me first!"

Alpha rushes again leaving transparent afterimages, she slashes vertically to Lucia and Lucia parries the slash horizontally and redirects the sword path as she changes the direction of the sword and stabs Alpha.

However Alpha disappears from the place and suddenly appears from behind Lucia and slashes horizontally. Lucia summoned 'Sakura' from her behind using the Gate of Babylon.

(A/N: Sakura is Alpha's signature weapon from the PGR game. Not a character from 'Naruto') 😁

She unconsciously summoned Sakura's sword from the Gate of Babylon because of her skill 'Battle instinct'. Her body and skills instantly react unknowingly. She was lucky because of her cheat system.

'Shit, I almost die!' Lucia thought and she used 'Heavenly demonic Sword Art' right away. She now understands if she doesn't use her all abilities there will be no way to win against Alpha. It's not like she is underestimating Alpha but she was attacked suddenly.

Lucia swings Murasame diagonally upward at Alpha and grabs Sakura in another hand. Alpha dodge and circle around Lucia as she releases multiple sword waves at a close distance at the same time.

Lucia dispels the sword waves with her swords and rushes back at Alpha as she performs 'heavenly demonic sword art' continuously. Alpha smirked at how Lucia did all and rushed back at her. Her aura rises insanely and light-blue color metallic energies surround her.

Two similar-looking girls are fighting with swords and the environment around them begins to destroy because of the powerful impacts. Many sword traces can be seen wherever they went.

Lucia dodged the slash and counter back at Alpha but she disappeared from there and only an afterimage of her was cut in half as Alpha slashed Lucia from the right side of her. However, there were two more Alpha from the left side and front appeared and attacked her from different directions and angles. It was no doubt 'Flickering Strike' which is one of Alpha's skills.

Lucia could only block two strikes and was hit by a third strike and blew away from there smashed to the wall and bounced back as she fell to the ground. Murasame was lost from her hand as it was spinning in the air and stuck on the floor at some distance.

*Cough!*

She coughs some blood from the impact but she immediately stands up again to defend incoming attacks. Thanks to 'Regeneration' she is recovering at fast speed. She saw Alpha coming toward her in a 'Z' shape movement. The red color rays could be seen where Alpha passed. Alpha appears from the side of Lucia again and slashes her without giving her any time to breathe.

Even though Lucia is using 'Heavenly Demonic Sword Art' she is lacking in fighting experience. She could win to this day only because of her overwhelming stats and cheat skills and items. In other words, she has not met a real strong opponent.

Of course, Alpha couldn't defeat her if she was prepared enough to cheat but Lucia didn't think she would drag her into here and beat her up. Strangely enough, she couldn't use 'Crimson Abyss' skills that just unlocked earlier. Most importantly, she couldn't use system here, luckily she could use all the skills and items she bought from the shop.

'I need to prepare for situations like this after I leave here.' Lucia thought as she fought with Alpha.

On the other hand, Alpha who is originally Lucia was fighting from a young age, surviving in the corrupt world. She have already experienced many life and death situations.

Lucia has reached level 40 now and increased many stats but she couldn't win Alpha with just this much stats. She was able to hold on for quite some time because of her 'Battle instinct' and 'Heavenly Demonic Sword Art' skills.

Lucia dodges the attack using the sword movement of heavenly demon art and counters against Alpha. , they exchanged swords for almost 20 minutes.

Outside of Abyss Realm,

"Lucia?" Saeko called Lucia but she is standing like a statue and looking in the distance.

"Lucia!"

Saeko is calling Lucia again and again but there is no response from Lucia. She became worried but she didn't know what to do. She was about to take her back to their room but suddenly aura around Lucia rose. She could see some dark and crimson color energies starting to appear and cover Lucia. Her red eyes begin to shine slowly.

Saeko thought she should bring Shizuka to heal or dispel this abnormality and run back to the mansion. She killed zombies around the area and ran as fast as she could. People were frightened when Saeko ran into the yard of the mansion at full speed but she had no time to care about that she walked into the mansion and went to Shizuka. She saw Shizuka was with Saya and Yuriko, they were talking with Souichiro about leaving here.

"Shizuka-nee!!"

She shouted and everyone turned to look at her in surprise.

"Yes, Papa. I want to go with her."

"Hmm… are you sure?" Souichiro still asked Saya while staring at her.

"Yes," Saya answered back as she stared back at Souichiro, As if she was applying she wouldn't change her decision.

"You don't need to worry about her, Souichiro."

"Hmm?"

Souichiro raised his eyebrow because of how Yuriko called him. Normally she would call him husband. Even though they were married with a contract she still called him husband. But she just calls him by name and not 'husband'. Even more, they are still in public. There is only one reason she would say that.

"Yuriko? Don't tell me…"

"Yes. We will end our contract here."

"I don't understand. Why? Is it because the world is beginning to end? If so isn't it safe to be with me, Tagaki family?"

"It's not like that Souichiro, I have finally found what I looking for and will be leaving with Lucia."

"Lucia? The girl Saya will leave with?"

"Yes, that's why I told you not to worry Saya because I will be with her."

"?!" Souichiro was shocked. When Yuriko said like that she looked like she had found her true love.

"What the. That doesn't make sense! Why are you two liking the same person? More importantly, you two are mother and daughter! Are you two gone mad!?"

"Love has no limit!" Shizuka shouted at Souichiro in full confidence. Thick mark appeared on Souichrio's head and about to talk to Shizuka but Yuriko stopped him with a glare and he could only sigh in disappointment. After all, he doesn't own her and it's not like Yuriko also loves him.

(A/N: I will leave him just like this because he is not a bad guy.)

He considers Yuriko as his close friend, the past they went through is quite enjoyable. She is the perfect person to spend her life but unfortunately for him she doesn't interest in man. Even so, she did give birth to a baby for him but the baby wasn't a boy but a girl.

"So, all of you…"

"Yes." They said and nodded.

It was unacceptable but he couldn't stop other people's decisions.

*Sigh*

'Really… why did I marry her…' he was thinking like that but then the door opened.

"Shizuka-nee!"

Everyone turns to look at Saeko who is panicking as soon as she enters the mansion.

"What happens, Sae-chan?"

"Lucia! She was standing like a statue and weird energies were releasing from her! I think she is under some spell! Shizuka-nee might be able to cure her. That's why I rush back here."

"Okay, let's go." Shizuka nodded and was about to go with her but Saya and Yuriko said they also wanted to go with them. Saeko agreed to run back to Lucia. Saeko was afraid of being late so she picked up Saya and Yuriko and ran back. Because of Leveled Up, Shizuka could follow Saeko. However, that is also because of Saeko reduced her speed for Shizuka to keep up with her.

In the Abyss realm, two people were fighting non-stop. The once smooth floor was creaked with many sword marks. The sky was the same but the buildings were in a mess, even though the buildings were ruined from the start. However, strangely enough, the floors were repairing themselves slowly.

Lucia dodged the sword which stabbed her head from behind and it brushed past her hair and hit the empty air. She used her left leg as the axis to turn around and kicked to the chest of Alpha. Alpha blocked the kick with her arm and grabbed it as she tried to pull Lucia and smash to the ground.

Lucia spin forcefully in midair and tried to break free from Alpha's grab as she slashed Alpha with her sword which is now glowing in red color. Alpha released her leg kicked the ground with one leg and took the step back as she released multiple crescent moon-shaped sword waves.

Lucia repels the sword waves with Sakura and moves in swiftly using many sword movements as she gets closer to Alpha. Unlike she reached here, Lucia is now improving in visible speed as she fighting with Alpha.

*Tang!*

All sword waves were destroyed and the two swords met again.

*Creak!*

This time Alpha's sword is beginning to creak and she is surprised. Alpha jumps back and makes some distance from Lucia. Lucia also doesn't give her any time to breathe as well and dashes toward Alpha.

Lucia slashed at Alpha and when the sword was about to reach Alpha's face, strangely the sword stopped. However, not only the sword was stopped but also Lucia's whole body. It was as if the time was stopped and frozen.

Lucia's senses are warning them insanely and telling her to move away from there. But she couldn't as she was stuck there. Alpha bent her knee slightly holding the sheath with her one hand and sheathed the sword with the other hand slowly.

*Clack*

The katana was sheathed and was ready to draw out again. Alpha raised her head and looked at Lucia with her red eye and Lucia saw a light flash pass within Alpha's red eye suddenly. Alpha drew the katana instantly and sent many invisible sword slashes in front of her. This is her signature skill of 'Crimson Abyss', Abyssal Slash.

It was at this moment Lucia knew, she fuck up. (A/N: Sorry, I just wanted to write this one so badly. Joke aside, let's continue the story.) 😂

'Shit!' Lucia is thinking multiple things at this moment. However, she is feeling safe suddenly and her body begins to shine slowly.

"?! This is…"

*Swing!*

Alpha already drew the sword and cut multiple time everything in front of her, including Lucia but there were no wounds on Lucia and no trace of a sword being released. It was as if Alpha missed the target in front of her. Alpha spin the sword and put the sword into the sheath.

*Clach!*

*Bangggg!!*

*Crack!*

*BOOOMM!!*

As soon as Alpha sheathed the katana, everything in front of her began to crack as if the mirror world was being shattered by the sword. The cut places can be seen with eyes. Not long after the cracks appeared, Lucia blew away from there and hit the building as she went straight into it.

Her body was now in a mess as many sword cuts could be seen and the blood was flowing out insanely. But she is recovering fast because of her 'Regeneration' skill. This time she was lucky because of a sudden increase in her stats. Right before Alpha released the skill, she got a sudden buff and reduced the impact of the sword slash.

*Cought**Cought*

"Haaa….haa… This… must be from Shizuka…"

"I don't know how she did it… but thanks to that I escaped from heavy damage…" Even though she escaped from heavy damage, she still got serious injuries. Thanks to buff her stats were enhanced and suppressed the stat limit of Alpha, she now could deal with Alpha.

"I need to hurry or she might use it again."

Lucia's wounds healed in just a few seconds and she rushed to Alpha at full speed. After Alpha used her skill, she turned and walked out of the place but suddenly Lucia appeared again behind her.

She was surprised that Lucia was still alive and turned back to counter her but Lucia disappeared again and appeared behind her as the surrounding could be seen the light-blue color sword traces appeared even in midair. She was shocked at how Lucia's speed increased.

She was about to attack but then she looked at her hand and saw many light-blue color lines appear on it. Not only on her hand but also on her body is the same. Alpha smiles slightly and turns to look at Lucia as Lucia also looks back at her.

"Well, you win…" Alpha said as if the weight on her shoulder had been lifting.

"No, I was just lucky."

"I see…"

Alpha's body became transparent slowly and small dark-red color particles were leaving the sky.

"Why did you attack me?" Lucia asked because Alpha did not answer her and kept attacking her.

"I just want to beat you up…"

Lucia opened her mouth as she was shocked.

"What?"

"Sorry, my head was filling with thoughts that I wanted to beat you and it was like I was being controlled. I talk to you normally just now because those thoughts were disappear."

'Hmm… Alpha is being controlled? Why?' Lucia is placing her index finger and thumb under her chin and thinking intensely.

"Ahahaha… what is with that look? This was like a long dream for me. I guess it's time for me to go to Luna's side."

"? Haven't you already met with Luna?"

'She should have already met with Luna. Why is she talking as if she has not met?' Lucia thought.

"Have I? I don't know… I don't remember… I only remember about my younger self. Other than that there were no memories aside from fighting. It was as if I was just a fragment of memories."

"You will meet with Luna again."

"I see… that would be great. You don't seem to be angry with me. Why?"

"I also like to fight too. I got some insight from the fight with you. So, I don't mind." Lucia wasn't angry with Alpha, after all, she was her favorite character and she could see her in real life and fight with her. It was quite enjoyable for her.

"Is that so? Well, I guess this is it." Alpha looks at her body which is almost disappeared.

"Good luck on your journey. Lucia…" Alpha disappears completely after she says that and Lucia looks at the sky which is still a grey color. Dark-red color particles from Alpha which had gone to the sky started to descend onto Lucia and entered inside her. A moment later, she feels like she has been reborn and become stronger than before. The world becomes silent as if there were no one in this entire world.

[Crimson Abyss Skill unlocked fully!]

"…"

The system message appears now meaning, it was also programmed to gain the 'Crimson Abyss' Skill like this. The system didn't tell her about this. She won Alpha but if not for Shizuka's buff suddenly apply on her, she might die here. No, she won't die but still, there is a slight possibility.

"Fucking system." Lucia curses the system as she also begins to disappear there as well.
