1 traveler
In a world where everyone has a class like a farmer, scout, mage, knight, someone gets a mysterious class who no one heard before, a class called traveler.
The person who gets this class was before a skilled mercenary, but for his bad luck in one of his jobs, his group found a strange dungeon and guide by theirs greedy they tried to explore.
The dungeon was small, soon they found the end of the dungeon without seeing any traps or monsters, but when they get there finally a trap appears, the door in the entrance close and holes in the walls started to appear and groups and more groups of ghouls started to appear.
Creatures who no more looked like humans with a rotten grey skin and red eyes, with no more intellect and just an insatiable hunger for flesh, they use a strange armor and are carrying some swords, shields, and spears, repeating the same movements they used to make when alive but with almost no precision and dexterity.
They run towards the mercenary group like crazy wolves starving, the mage cast spells, the warriors raise their shields and cut with their swords, the thieves trowed knives and the archers shoot arrows, but there was no end to the ghouls.
After 5 minutes in the battle, the arrows end the archers started to pull swords and daggers to fight, while the thieves are using daggers now too, the ghouls still going out of the holes like there is no tomorrow, there are almost 200 corpses of dead ghouls on the floor, the door still closed no matter what, the mercenaries even tried explosions but not even a single scratch was found in the door.
Just 2 minutes after the arrows end, the first mercenary died, they all feel an immense despair, the thieves started to hide behind the warriors instead of fighting the ghouls, soon the archers did the same, the warriors could not resist for this much time and soon they started to die too.
In more 3 minutes there are just 5 people alive, Richard a warrior with black hair and bright brown eyes, his appearance is average, he fights with a halberd, he is also the vice leader of the mercenary group.
The other warrior who survives was Ighor a bald guy with almost 2meters, he carries a big shield and a mace, he is just a talented warrior of the group.
Another survivor was the captain of the archers Kein, he is 1,90 meters tall and has a long blonde hair, he a little like an elf, he fights with his bow and dual swords.
The others survivors were both mages, first Rodric the captain of the mage group, he looks like an avarege man with brown hair, but a lot of people fear him because of his powerful fire magic, next is Marvin he was a noble but his family lost everything and he ended up working as a mercenary, he has a short blond hair and blue eyes, he is a talented ice mage.
The room is full of blood and corpses, looking like the hell itself, but at least there are no more ghouls coming from the holes, in the middle of the floor a passage appears, leading to other room below.
All the group is standing in silence until Marvin starts to vomiting, he is the newest in the group, just working in others 2 wars before as a mercenary, so even if he already see something similar in the previous wars he stills can't control himself well.
" Look like there is no more coming, let's check the door " -Richard
" The door stills locked?" -Ighor
" We need to open this again, but don't let your guard down if more of these ghouls start to run towards us and the door stills locked then we will need to run to this room down there" -Rodric
" Right every one start to walk to this door, if another wave of enemies come, just stay together " -Richard
" Wait for Marvin, everyone needs to go together" -Rodric
" Marvin close your mouth and swallow this, we can't lose time here" -Richard
The group starts to walk towards the door while looking at the holes hoping nothing comes from this, they reached the door but no matter how much force they put the door doesn't move a single inch.
" Someone stills have the explosives ?" -Richard
" I see the thieves using them to kill some ghouls so we have nothing left " -Ighor
" I still have mana to make an explosion but then I will have no mana left to make anything" -Rodric
" I can make an explosion too but that will be smaller than the one fo Rodric after all I am an ice mage while he is a fire mage " -Melvin
" Then you can cast your spell Rodric, just some fireballs will not save us if another wave comes, and Melvin keep your mana, maybe we will need a spell to slow down the ghouls"-Richard
"Okay then just keep a distance from the door I will cast the spell "-Rodric
*Boom*
" The fucking door stills intact " -Ighor
" Well we have 2 options, or we go downstairs in the new passage or we explore the holes" -Richard
" From what I see this room downstairs looks like the treasure room from a dungeon and I see no meaning in exploring the holes, even if is some treasure there the exit will be in another place, if not the ghouls should leave this dungeon years ago, I don't think the risk is worth " -Kein
" Anyone disagrees with him? no? okay then let's go to the floor below " -Richard
"Don't you think resting a bit here is better? " - Rodric
" We don't know if there is something more who will come from this holes and if the last room is not a treasure room then what comes next will be stronger than these ghouls and we can't defeat it anyway, I am just trying to convince you because it is safe for us if everyone stays together but you don't need to go if you don't wanna" - Richard
The entire group went down the stairs, and the first thing they see was a bunch of runes flying around the room, the runes were sculpted in rocks, but they are glowing with different colors.
" Anyone knows what is that ?"-Richard
"Yes, they are runes of class, if you get near them, they will upgrade your class to other more powerful, they should teleport us out here too, I heard of them when I was in the adventurers guild"-Kein
The entire group seems a little anxious after hearing what Kein says, everyone looks at the runes with greedy.
"Good how we use it ?"-Richard
"Just comes close to them and one rune will approach you and will change your class also this will send you out here" -Kain
"Okay then who wants can go first I will be the last just in case of this thing going wrong" -Richard
One by one they approach the runes and when someone gets close enough the one rune starts shining and the person disappears.
" Hey boss, are you sure this thing will works ?"-Ighor
" Just go ahead we don't have any other option and the others already go, or you can wait for someone to rescue you here, but let's be realistic we are mercenaries Ighor they always expect us to die, you should know that better than me" -Richard
"Hey Ighor I will do something risk after you go, so if I don't appear in 30 minutes you can count me dead" -Richard
" You will risk and go to the hole right ?" Richard
" Yes " -Ighor
" I was what you will do when everyone goes, so is that even if before you were a slave you should consider your life more Richard. Then I will go first if you survive let's drink one for the group" -Ighor

I walk with attention looking at everywhere while holding my halberd if one more ghoul comes I will cut him in half
I am finally in front of the hole and I see any movement here, well where is the red light that I see during the fight? This was supposed to be here, maybe is deeper inside? Well, I am already here so I will go all the way.
I go further, now I am looking this looks more like a cave but there is some structure here like walls made of stone bricks, the more I go more walls like that appear until the cave turns in a corridor with flor and walls in, I am really getting near of it,
I start to see some open coffins in the walls of the corridor, there is a lot of coffins, so this is from where these fucking ghouls come, looks like they have more than 1000 coffins here, yeah this was the right number of ghouls who attack us.
I start to see a red light in the final of the corridor, I heard something like electricity when I come near it, then I finally see from where the light was, in the final of the corridor was a room with a strange altar.
The altar is surrounded by weapons, I can see halberds, hammers, swords, axes, and even lances, looks like there is stranges weapons here that I can't recognize, but what drags my attention was a bowl on the middle of the altar.
The bowl is filled with blood but this blood smells strange, like a sweet smell almost like honey, and in the blood, I see a strange red lightning, this thing is emitting all of this red light.
There is something strange, I wanna touch the blood, I wanna drink this blood, I want it so badly, ah fuck it, I touch the blood with my hand, and the lightning start to climb me, but I don't feel pain, just an ecstasy like if something big is going to happen.
The lightning is now everywhere in my body, I feel like it is inside me now, my body is starting to get hot, and this blood in the bowl, something says that I need to drink that, I start to get thirsty, ah I drink the damn blood and it tastes like the best drink in my entire life.
The lightning seems wild now, it is moving like if it is crazy, all the room is filled with electricity and my body is almost exploding, blood starts to go out of my nails and eyes, I am spelling blood from my mouth and ears too.
The pain is killing me just when I was about to lose my sanity, I notice that my blood is flying to the halberd near me, the halberd starts to shake, then suddenly fly to me, then stop in front of me floating like if is saying grab me.
The lightning started to go to the halberd too, this relieved some of the pain that I feel, then I grab the weapon, it feels like something of me is flowing to the weapon, like if the halberd has veins and now are connected to my blood.
The heat in my blood decreases a little too like if it is going to the weapon too, the things finally start to become supportable.
Then the lightning goes crazy again, this time I feel like something in my body is trying to control the lightning.

The lightning finally stop, looks like it was consumed by my body, but I don't care, what is my level now? I am scared to see my status now, pls be more than 10 or I am fucked, I say show status in my head.

Then I heard the sound of rocks falling, I look back and the room is collapsing, I grab the 2 halberds and run towards the exit, even the room out of the holes is collapsing, I run more to the runes in the last room of this dungeon, when I come I don't even see it I just jump and then everything went black.

What it was supposed to upgrade not change, I was supposed to be a great warrior, a knight or even a hero.
