Chapter 74: Recovery

After the fight with vampires in Sanguinem, it took me Aiba asked me to recover for the next three months to recover from the abuse of using <One for All: 100% Full Power> a technique using the OFA quirk by giving the body quirk factor the command of going beyond the body's functions.

As the saying goes Plus Ultra is quite literally for me but not without some side effects when I use it.

The side effects of using such a technique were going all-out crazy power-up since I can't have those given by plot I had to develop it my way. I don't have the crazy power of plot armor to offer so I made one that will give me the boost I needed but that's not without some cost.

The cost is I force the power to come from my body while the body tries to handle the strain of the increase of power similar to All Might buff form but I drastically increase everything but not without strain later on.

I guess still using it put my body too much strain despite being superhuman but at the same time though those Progenitors weren't any jokes at all either.

Krul alone was enough to match me when I used my Nen and physical strength alone until I used the boosting effect ones is when I got the power needed to defeat her. Then there were the second progenitors Saito although modified was scary fast to keep up when I went all out.

Although I should be grateful for him though as it finally awakened one of my quirks and that was <Decay> as I let myself be emotionally stressed out when I used the <One for All: 100% Full Power> as it made me more susceptible to greater emotions.

Now I can properly be main as Shigiraki movesets with that power awakened as the vampires lost their will to fight seeing how I could end them like that or when I used <Overhaul> on them during the battle three months ago.

But I wasn't allowed to do much since Aiba pretty much look after my health for a while till, I was properly healed over time, but I wasn't lazing around other than training the new abilities I got from Saito.

<Hell Chains> the ability of Saito's chains can reach targets of his choice including the First who is in his demon realm in a separate dimension of the mind as well as allows him to absorb the life force of others if they come in contact to increase his power.

<Dust> was another ability of his to turn into smoke or dust as I came to learn more about it and control it even if only, I train more I could turn this into a Dust Style Jutsu from Naruto eventually but maybe some more training once I'm fully healed would do.

Still though trying to recreate new systems of governments again in all the world and as well as taking care of the dangerous sea Horseman of John in this world was a pain good thing Aiba already took care of that it took a lot of stuff off my plate.

Although she used my <Ultimate Armor> for a test drive I have been busy with desk work helping the survivors of different regions around the world as well as helping them rebuild again would take a while.

Also, the virus bomb for the vampires was used on the states on a national global scale with the droids and Iron Man suits ensuring that they were taken care of.

But I think I can safely say that my PTSD is finally coming full circle again as I feel mentally prepared after that cluster fuck of one-man army that shit.

Still, though I have to say it's time to get the angel gene from Yu of his Salt King since I have time to look around, I might as well see how the people are handling the situation.

Currently, I'm dealing with the issues of the survivors from the Sanguinem as they are all being protected by Aiba since I need time to recover my strength again since that fight took a lot of me.

Also, Aiba was forbidding me from doing anything that would harm me too much of my physical health so basically, I was bedridden for the time being till I was 100% recovered. I can still feel that my bones are creaking just moving around.

Even with my healing factors apparently from going all out my body couldn't handle it as it meets its limits during that time since I was unaware that I was already healing when I used it along with a quirk awakening it only increased my stamina drain.

But I was allowed to at least get used to my new abilities as Aiba allowed it since the unknown abilities are best to be known for safety purposes.

While I was on house arrest I was moving around with some crunches but at least I'm not doing any fighting at the moment but at least I can do something as command some droids supply materials for everyone survival.

Although at the time I did move out of the way from the medical bay in the Helicarrier as I had some wounds bandage and a cast on my arm I was able to walk around at least with my crutches for support.

While walking out I see that some of the droids were following me must be Aiba commanding for safety knowing I'll get bored staying in my bed all day but there is the issue of getting the Salt King as well.

Walking around I see that the people are busy rebuilding their homes now that the threats of Vampires have been taken care of but now comes the issues of rebuilding their homes with the fears of Horseman walking around.

Guess I need to take care of that angel soon and bam effective way to take out monsters on a global scale then deal with that first progenitor Doji but that implies I take out the Japanese Imperial Demon Army first.

Hmm…

I might as well take them out honestly considering they still have a person capable of doing the Taboo again and have the knowledge to do it. Best to be safe than leave it up to chance.

"Hey, mister!!"

Hearing someone yelling at me I looked over to see it was Yu dressed in a different normal uniform by your truly using my talents and some of his friends coming over.

As they approach me, I smiled but hope this boy won't be as salty as a certain titan user because of their same backstories of their families being destroyed by monsters at least I like to think that.

When they approached me, I saw that Yu along with Mikaela, and Akane as they reached me Yu yelled out loud like a child would as he asked me, "Hey mister are you the one in control of your robot army!"

The two of his friend paled at that as I laughed innocently enough as I place my hand on his head as I used <All for One> to take his Searph Gene of the Salt King while responding, "Yup say hello to the leader and founder of the Iron Liberation Army. Jason Bourne temporary leave of duty due to serious injuries fighting the monstrous Vampires at your servers."

Yu's eyes seem to shine at that while Mikaela spoke trying to apologize to me as he tried to bow to me, "I'm sorry sir for…"

Stopped him from bowing to me as I spoke calmly to the kids as I responded to them, "Don't no need for bowing kid. Just be safe and live is enough for me no bowing to your leader crap I don't like it."

Mikaela looked shocked as Akane sighs at this while Yu grins seeing this side of me since I'm usually more biased to helping kids than adults who need it.

Sigh… I hope I don't become or be labeled as a pedophile for this.

That was when Yu asked me a question wanting to fulfill his hate for the vampires as he spoke to me, "Hey mister please let me fight those bloodsuckers! I want to have the right to fight them for what they did and shit!"

The two of his friends shakes their head at that while I playfully ruffle his hair as I spoke to him seriously catching them off guard, "Sorry kid but I'm afraid there won't be many vampires around when I'm done."

Yu looked at me confused as did Mikaela while Akane asked being curious as well to my words as she talked to me next, "Uh… Mister Jason, what do you mean by that? Isn't there any vampires around the world still?"

*Beep*

Before I could answer the droid beside me started to show Aiba hologram as she looked at me with a smile while saluting to me, "Good morning today sir. I see that you are out and about getting the fresh air also here's today's report on Europe as all the vampires in the area have been thoroughly killed off as well as any research of human experimentations from the face of the earth master!"

Everyone listening in managed to hear that as they all looked wide-eyed at Aiba then to me as she mentions that my work against them isn't only on Japan but on a global scale meaning that there was hope that the world will one day return to normal.

Seeing that I was at the center of attention now I played my part carefree at Aiba as I mentioned to her the next step, "Very good Aiba. In that case, try getting to the rest of the world taking care of what's needed to be done. Be sure to create some facilities for the people in need of plumbing, farms, and powerplants seeing that Humanity will be reborn again in the future."

Aiba was laughing at that as I got everyone in the Osaka Bay attention from my speech of how selfless I was to them considering to them I was their savior but in reality, I was greedy right now.

I learned my mistake at Sannomiya trusting others easily without much force the last time since they thought it was best for them while getting something in return. To be honest I don't blame them that much if it was survival then I can completely understand since living in this world is hell enough for them.

Now then I should return to the Helicarrier for now and get rested again so with that I said my piece to everyone listening as I went back to rest.

Although helping was great I now have the angel gene of the Salt King pretty useful ability to command salt and handle the Angel of Destruction in a few hits.

I want these abilities unlocked when I soon got them, but I denied such actions because of that First Progenitor vampire/Demon Doji because of his usual control angels and demon's bullshit power.

I have no idea how to counter his command against demons and angels through normal means so my best option left is to fight him as a human since if I use the power of the Searph I would be directly controlled by that guy.

The only way how I can fight the guy was if I was human in the beginning seeing that he was able not to control humans but used another one of his abilities to do it Sleep Inducement and Barrier Sealing.

Barrier sealing is when he's able to form a barrier, he can seal to who he has a contact within it. They can be kept with him and prevent them from escaping, displayed when he was forming one to prevent Asuramaru from escaping to take Yu's greed in another realm.

Sleep inducement with just a verbal command to sleep can result in a target violently hurling to the ground. When successful, the target does not appear to know that they are asleep.

I'm going in against that but luckily, I have a counter for them honestly as the barrier sealing is the one, I have to concern myself with but at least it's something I can handle with my quirks.

Time to start planning some countermeasures just to be safe.
