57 Chapter 57: Seraph of the End

Taking his time Jason was inside a restaurant as he was enjoying his free course buffet all paid thanks to his Hunter License he got from the exam.

Enjoying his meal, he began to scarf everything down as he kept his training his Nen and quirks again before the time came for the new world option to be shown.

While he was eating, he saw what new world he has obtained through his stay here in the HxH world with mild amusement as he thought to himself, 'Oh? I get this world next after Hunter x Hunter an interesting choice that's for sure. Although the question is am I ready for that level of fighting?'

Glancing at the world of the next one is RWBY as he thinks of what the option it was in a curious tone, 'RWBY huh? There are a lot of benefits to getting from that place as well as the relics are too good to pass up as well as the different rules of aura as well. The maidens are a must to have magic but…'

Shaking his head at the screen as it goes away and leaves the restaurant as he goes around walking while his quirk OFA began to burn down the fat to be stored for later uses with his <Creation> quirk.

While walking around the city he began to think to himself as he asked Alter Ego in his head through the cerebral chip inside his brain as he spoke, 'Alter Ego have you gone over the information about the seraphs and vampires info of what we're going into here?'

Responding in his head Alter Ego responds inside his mind as she spoke out positively to him in a kind tone, 'Affirmative sir, I reread all the information of what was needed from the information on your world. But you have a lot of work cut out for you but with your skills and quirks you can give them a chance although do you have an idea of what time you should travel to?'

Jason thinks closely at deciding on what to take until he finally sat down at a park in the city viewing the sun as he responds only to himself, "After thinking awhile… I think I should do it 2 years before the plot begins."

Alter Ego glances at Jason's expression through the bracelet as she frowns seeing his sad expression as she responds to him, "Sir… are you positive that you want to begin at that time and not at a time where the kids…"

Alter Ego stops her sentences as she noticed Jason frowns further as he responds to her in a conflicted tone, "What can I do at that time? I'll be deep inside vampire territory without much help and if I go before that is when the other bloodsuckers begin searching for others its best to do it when they're not around searching for any more humans when they're not around."

Alter Ego looks concerned for Jason as he begins to brighten up as he spoke to Alter Ego calming her as he spoke, "Don't worry I'm fine Alter Ego. I just need to do the logic here and keep things what I do to help. My presence won't change much concerning they would do their whole prophecy…"

That was when Alter Ego interrupted him as she reassures Jason of what the correct choice is as he looked surprised as she spoke, "Sir… do you truly believe that you can truly stand by and let their fates die like that without any reason for you to fight for them. I know that you are scared I can feel what you feel inside your head but tell me do you truly believe letting die like that is the right choice?"

Silence then begins to set as Jason calms his nerves as he didn't realize that he was sweating as he began to talk to Alter Ego admittivity of his decision, "Yeah… I suppose that you have a point about their Alter Ego. I'm still scared to fight those stronger than me since unlike with Jed there was no one around for me to launch atomic bombs easily but in that world…"

No words were needed to be said that unlike in the Hunter x Hunter world Seraph of the End is already limited with the life of humans being hunted down as they are used as livestock but more so the other bigger powers at play to be concerned.

As well as being concerned as to not accidentally kill any humans in his fights because unlike them Jason could walk off any damage but the humans there are only teens or kids with no way to defend themselves unless they are equipped with the right gear but even then, they die more easily.

Tightening his fist as he released a sigh escaping his face, he felt more cowardly than he would like to admit but at the same time felt like trash for not going in to help.

Those thoughts alone angered him at how he was reacting while waiting for the events to happen to leave for a bigger opportunity while others suffer earlier.

Was he someone willing to let kids die when he knows he has the chance to save them after obtaining power to fight back?

Was he someone who will cowardly wait for his opponents to be stronger than him just run away while leaving someone to die?

Will he forsake them while he has the chance to survive to get stronger?

Thinking of those thoughts his mind became more clearer on what he wanted to do as he truly smiled thankfully at Alter Ego for some words of advice of what he wanted to do, "Sigh… thanks Alter Ego I needed that push. I'm willing to gain power by some means but not by sacrificing some kids to do it. I originally intended to enjoy my travels not become power-hungry in the process."

Staring up to the sun for a few moments he smiles gladly as he talks to Alter Ego with gratitude as he spoke, "If I was willing to do sacrifice some kids for me to get powerful then it's not worth the cost. After all, I'm only human but I won't let my fears consume me of doing what I know it's right even if it's illogical."

Alter Ego glances at Jason as she smiles inside the bracelet knowing that Jason has his mind in order again as she spoke, "Of course sir, after all, I was designed to help you out physically and mentally. I'm just doing my job keeping you in check and doing what you like to do not what you don't. Besides your growth, you forget at times that you are still a kid so it's natural to afraid there is no shame in it."

Laughing at that Jason got his head in order as he gets ready what to do next as he looks at the system as he prepares for the next journey in his travels and hopes for the best of what's to come.

With that Jason left the Hunter x Hunter world going into the world of Seraph of the End…

~Jason POV~

Glancing around myself I see myself to be in a destroyed building that looks like it's close to collapsing but also how old it is from seeing everything even the walls seem to be fading…

Hugh!

Clenching my chest tightly I felt like something invaded my body as I felt extreme cases of sickness as I know what this was, I quickly used my quirks of <Super Regeneration>, <Cell Activation>, <Overhaul>, <Adapt>, and <One for All: Return Life> all to quickly develop anti-bodies in my body to counteract the virus in this world.

To be on the safe side of guaranteeing myself I used my aura to Enhance my quirks in my body as it was inside my body that the healing effect of my body began to work like a charm so much so that I felt the pain no longer there anymore.

Blue lighting was surrounding my body as a trickle of blood escaped my mouth as I began to clean it off as I responded to myself in a surprised voice, "Fuck… I knew I was right before coming here I needed something to counteract the virus in this world. Glad I chose MHA one before this one or else I would've been fucking screwed over."

*Beep*

Hearing a beeping sound from my bracelet I lift it as I already used Zetsu to hide my presence and using the quirks <Scanning> and <Search> to help me locate where I'm at.

Lifting my bracelet, I managed to see the screen of Alter Ego as I used Gyo to keep her hidden as well, "Sir, I did the bio scan of your body the virus in the air that you inhaled has been nullified thanks to the combine efforts of your quirks and Enhancement to them. It seems that there is a connection I can use sir?"

That is an interesting trivia bit but if I know where this connection is then I shook my head to Alter Ego in concern as it's too early, "Alter Ego doesn't use that connection. The best likely bet is that the vampire's source of connection considering that they are more advanced than humans to a degree."

Yeah, the vampires have certainly upped their game when it comes to technology but not by a lot more like my own world level.

The vampires have advanced technology compared to the humans and comment when human technology becomes advanced. Ferid takes notice of it when he first comes across a Horseman of John in the 13th century. During the Progenitor Council meetings in Vampire Reign, the vampires talk to each other across the world through a video call.

Getting myself back together again as I feel myself return to normal again, I examine the area a lot more closely as I observe the area thanks to my quirks and superhuman senses as well.

While I was returning myself to normal, I began to notice that my <Search> quirk managed to tell me where I was concerning myself where I am as I spoke, "Wait I'm in Shibuya? Well, it's not the worse place to be in all honestly considering it's a haven for humans. However, the noble families are going to be a pain in the ass."

Shibuya in Seraph of the End is the first capital of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. It contains the JIDA's headquarters and is home to many noble families, such as the Hiragi, Ichinose, and Sangu.

The city has been well-kept and appears to be a human city before the Apocalypse. It is a city with many buildings, including schools. The Moon Demon Company barracks lie underneath one of the high schools. The city is surrounded by defensive walls that are a few stories high.

The main headquarters of the JIDA are here as well.

The society operates similarly to human society before the Apocalypse and even has ice cream and schools. This society is completely controlled by the Hiragi family and their subordinate families. Many humans live here in peace.

However, vampire experimentation is performed here, and vampires can escape from their research facilities on rare occasions. Human experimentation is performed extensively, and Second Shibuya High is an experimental ground that exposes the humans in the school to demonic auras.

Humans who are possessed are typically killed by the demons or executed by the army, while those who have resistance to the demons are used as soldiers. The Moon Demon Company has barracks beneath the high school and trains its soldiers there.

This city has strict population regulations on immigrants but encourages its soldiers and citizens to proliferate. Even after its soldiers kill off the vampires protecting human livestock, the city will not allow any of the people entry depending on how full it is and will leave them to the vampires and Horsemen outside the walls.

Hmm…

Those are some serious issues that need to be dealt with if I want to help everyone in Japan the obvious course of action would be to expand the territory of the place. However, the Horseman of Apocalypse will need to be dealt with as well as the Vampires outside the area that needs to be killed off.

As I was thinking of what to do Alter Ego began to respond to me as she spoke to me about the vampire issue, "Sir what are you going to do about the vampires here in this world?"

Now that was a question that I need to answer as I already knew what it was but this was no choice on the matter as I spoke out determined, "The answer is quite simple. Immediate extinction no matter what."

Now I see that Alter Ego looked surprised at my response but, to be honest it was going to have to be this way. In the manga, they did discuss the possibility of peace if they were to come to an understanding between the two races but ultimately that will lead to failure for the simple case that was food to them.

Sure, it is specism as I would put it, but can you deny that vampires survive literally by sucking humans dry and preying on them? It is part of their biology to kill humans constantly to feed themselves, trusting them or even the idea of having peace with them right from the get-go is ridiculous.

Maybe in time you might talk and find some common ground, but you still won't blindly trust them right away. Especially since the vampires here already pretty much control the majority of the world and consider acts of atrocity to humans treating as livestock or killing them as they please by drinking them dry.

If the vampires were to give equal rights and treat humans fairly like the vampire controlling Russia, I wouldn't have an issue but here is different as they already have done their actions. It also doesn't help that these immortal bastards have an eternal blood lust and emotionless personality that they don't caretake a human life.

When I got myself together again, I glanced at Alter Ego as I responded to her in a serious tone while I began to use the Prime Model Armor stealth mode, "Alter Ego these Vampires thrive for human blood and were food to them. Peace with them is not an option because they see us as food so the only choice is to exterminate them."

Alter Ego looks at me but nods as she agrees with me as she spoke, "I see sir… there are times when the use of violence like this is necessary. In that case, I'll help to the best of my abilities sir."

Thanks, Alter Ego with that I nodded to her as I began to search Shibuya to find out where exactly those Black Series weapons are at?
