Chapter 12: Hope meets Housekeeper and Pharmacist

~Jason POV~

As I was calming drinking my water, I had to curse my luck in meeting two ultimate's in the same plane ride back to Japan.

Chisa Yukizome the <Ultimate Housekeeper> and Seiko Kimura the <Ultimate Pharmacist> are both here getting a plane ride back to Japan but why?

Getting my curiosity the better of me I tried to get some info by starting the conversation with Seiko first, "Say you are Seiko Kimura right?"

Seiko then looks at my direction as she raises her eyes at me but asked nonetheless, "Yes that is my name why ask?"

Wanting more information it might be best to ask with the current subject of the question than what I want, "So it is you the <Ultimate Pharmacist> is it all true that you were falsely expelled from Hope's Peak from another student?"

Seiko seems like she was prepared for it as Chisa flinched at that weird but accurate enough considering who the person in question is.

Seiko then replies with a happy but sour tone as she responds but with more confidence with each word spoken, "Yeah I read about it on google a few months back when it happened. I for one was personally happy to see justice that was deserved but unfortunately the person in question just so happens to be missing. That person that screwed over my life had his plane destroyed and lost somewhere in some desert but knowing his talent I can't wait to see him behind bars."

Whoa… didn't think that Seiko would be this forward or bold in her words for her hate on Nagito but then again anything can happen so her seeking justice was normal I suppose?

That was when Seiko continued onwards as she spoke in a happy tone, "For now though I'm just glad that punishment and justice is happening now. Oh, sorry if I was rambling on there, I just get very heated on that topic."

Nodding my head I replied to her in an awkward but understanding tone to her, "Yeah, I think I understand sorry I asked. So, what is someone like you doing in Towa City going back to Japan for anyway if you don't mind me asking?"

That was when Chisa replied in Seiko place getting into a good mood probably to return to a cheerful atmosphere, "We were just scouting students again in the Neo Hope's Peak Academy since the mass demanded a change to the system."

Neo Hope's Peak Academy?

The fuck?

Tilting my head at this that was when Chisa replies at this with a smile on her face, "I guess the news haven't spread in Towa City yet so I guess considering it's an isolated island you wouldn't have heard that the school is being reconstructed under new management and new students."

When have that happened?

Have I been too busy with my projects that I haven't notice that Hope's Peak recovering from the cyberattack I have done against the school?

I guess I have been too absorbed with my Prime-Model Armor that I haven't realized that they have been busy reconstructing again.

Once again I asked out of curiosity towards Chisa getting interested with the academy changes in a curious tone, "Really now? I would've thought that they destroyed the academy with most of the students transferring out from that place and the whole human experimentation thing on that school?"

Chisa sighs at that but returns with a smile on her face as she began to answer my question, "I suppose that what the majority of people would think. But what you say is true but the person in charge of the Steering Committee is Kyosuke Munakata since the previous ones died by the Reverse Course Students who were torturing them till death."

Hearing this I nodded like I understood but I already knew of this course of action from the Reverse Course students considering that what they originally did for the other two in a novel of Danaganronpa.

But I didn't expect Munakata to be the Steering Committee now but then again it would rather be him than anyone else considering who else fills that role of a guy wanting Hope's Peak Academy.

But if that is the case then who's the principal then?

Getting curious about that I asked Chisa next to me with a curious expression on my face, "Oh? If that's the case is the principal Jin Kirigiri still in the academy controlling the place?"

That was when Seiko laughs a little getting my attention as she began to explain to me who the principal was, "Hahaha… now isn't that rude young boy you are talking to the principal Chisa Yukizome and the academy's nurse. I bet you look very surprised now young boy?"

What!

Looking at Chisa with a surprised expression she sticks her tongue out in a playful manner as she began to explain to me, "Yes you are correct Borne. I'm the new principal at Neo Hope's Peak Academy since Jin has been with the original Steering Committee as an accomplice to the Izuru Kamakura Project it was clear they needed a new one in the academy place and Munakata the current new head of the Steering Committee decided I would be the ideal person for the job. I hope to do better than my previous co-workers."

Whoa I guess a lot of things have changed since I destroyed the plot of the original story of Danganronpa I mean I personally knew that but to this extent I guess I underestimated it by how much would change.

That means I have to be extra careful about how I change the course of plot of the story or in a game world I'm in considering this is just my first world I entered into by traveling here with my system.

If by destroying the plot of the story of Danganronpa was this simple but with big changes with Chisa now the principal and Munakata the acting head of the Steering Committee I have to be extremely be careful of what to do with my actions.

Sure this is just a side effect from me messing with the progress how the world of Danganronpa worked but that means even I can't figure out what those consequences would be this is something to take note of for the future.

Messing with the original canon events will lead to different ones forming that maybe outside my knowledge or perspective that somehow involves changes to these kinds of things resulting into different forms of action taken place than the original.

Hmm…

I have to be extra careful then from this point forward onward if I mess with the smallest thing of the plot then something else might take its place or be completely irrelevant later on into the future.

That is something I don't want to happen because my knowledge how the world works is my greatest strength of knowing the plot or even before the plot as long as I know what anime or game is, I can use the original timeline of events to my advantage.

That was when I was done asking them questions as I spoke in a calm tone acting friendly towards the two, "Wow! I didn't expect to be in the presence of two people changing that school. Sorry if I didn't hear of you before."

That was when Seiko accepted my apology as she began to what I think was smiling considering that she has her mask on, "Sure no problem I just wish more kids with talents would come over. Although I for one would personally thank the guy who posted the info out to the public."

That was when I heard Chisa shakes her head at this with a defeated look on her face as she spoke, "Seiko I know that you want to meet the <Ultimate Hope> or the hacker but its near impossible to find that person. Sigh… I kind of wish that this person would be here so that I can talk to them but finding him is impossible. And here I wish to have an offer for him to join the Neo Hope's Peak Academy sigh…"

Seiko then replies to Chisa in a disappointed tone at her friend response, "Yeah… I know already I just wish to have met the guy in person… I really apreticate him taking down those bastards you know?"

Chisa then expresses her sentiment to Seiko with a knowing expression on her face while I feel uncomfortable being in the middle between them, but I learned a lot from this brief encounter we had though.

I see…

I guess I gathered their attentions of finding the <Ultimate Hope> its actually quite funny that their looking for the <Ultimate Hope> when its actually closer than they think.

With that seeing that I have no curiosity of why they were here I stayed silent and only replied if asked for the rest of the flight back to Japan.

Although the idea of joining their group sounds interesting, I have no intention of doing so for their case.

Why is simple because why would I stay in this world that long for them, but I will visit those kids after all I had the most fun time with them.

Sure, the people next to me were the good guys but their only human thinking that the fate of the world is on their shoulders to which I say its selfish really.

They have their talents speak for them and don't let their own choices dictate their own choice only follow the profession that is really limiting actually.

Chiaki was right on her words when she says to Hajime…

Thinking on her words of her quote I recite them from my head as I express a thoughtful expression, 'It doesn't make a difference whether you have a talent or not. I mean, that isn't the end goal. You have greater freedom than we do. All I have are games. But you can go anywhere and become anything…'

In a sense she was right in the end as humans we are as free as we want to be.

I am no puppet in this world that is played by strings of talent or fate; and no plot or gods can ensnare me; I am free human being with an independent will.

Not a thing or a puppet to be portrayed but free to do what I please but freedom lies in being bold.

Smiling at the scene before me I took a glance at the window to see the sky of clouds were passing by…

Later after a couple of hours we finally arrived at the port of Japan as we landed on shore it seems to be sunset from here.

I guess the beautiful lights of Japan seems to be bright as always.

With that I began to walk around the area as I try to locate the other hotel in the area till my eyes caught their attention to the same arcade game I played when I first arrived in this world as I grin at the memory.

The games in Japan in the Danaganronpa world is surely different from what was in my original world that was for sure as well as the parody's that followed.

Taking a quick look inside on a whim I tried to see the knock off Pac Man game as I caught my eyes on the score board raising my eyebrow, "First place on the score board is Chiaki? And after my hard work reaching the score boards of every game arcade here!"

My hard work of finishing my arcade game scores of Blank will not go unfinished with that I began to play on the arcade game of Pac Man rip off as I played each level at a fast pace that took me a while to rescore to the first place of the score board once more.

After a little bit of few minutes, I finally obtained my retaining record once more.

"WINNER! STATE YOUR NAME!"

Ha!

Now with that done with I placed the name Blank once more on the score board till I felt a tap on my shoulder as I heard a girl's voice from behind, "Hey there you just beat my high score. And that name [___] Blank right? Then you must be the one to beat my high score, right?"

The person I saw was none other than the <Ultimate Gamer> Chiaki Nanami.

Chiaki has short, pale mauve hair that slightly curls outwards, though the locks on either side of her face curl inwards. She has short straight bangs split towards the right, a white hairclip resembling the spaceship from Galaga pinned to a lock of her hair. She has sleepy-looking blossom pink eyes, much like her AI counterpart.

Chiaki wears the standard Hope's Peak Academy uniform of a white button-up dress shirt with a red ribbon tied in a bow at the collar, with a warm brown blazer and pleated skirt. However, she wears a cream-colored hooded cardigan underneath her blazer. Her legwear consists of a pair of black thigh high socks and white loafers.

Well then this wasn't in my calculations but who am I going to say no to best waifu in the Danaganronpa series.

At least she is alive in this version of events that much I can be proud of.

As I looked over to the cute gamer girl, I responded to her in a friendly manner, "Really then you must be the Chiaki that I beat in all the arcade games records of their score boards right? The name is Jason Borne the pleasure to meet you miss…?"

That was when she readjusted herself up right as she began to announce herself to me as proper introduction, "Huh? Oh, sorry I'm Chiaki Nanami I was just wondering who the person Blank was to take my spot, but I didn't think it would be a kid?"

Smirking at that I replied in a challenging manner to Chiaki as I challenged her, "Really? So how about we go on a two player versus game in the arcade I want to see how good you are Chiaki."

Chiaki puffs her face so cute at me as she agreed to my challenge, "Alright then just don't blame me when you lose, I happen to be a very good gamer."

Raising a smile on my face I challenged her expression with my own as I spoke confidently, "Ok but you ain't the only good gamer around you know."

With that the game was on.
