Grim Invasion And Solo Member!

Alex was a little nervous hell no! He was scared as hell seeing a herd of about a one million Grim all heading for him. But he had to fight for his survival so he put his fear down and made his arms transform into sharp claws he couldn't keep Blacklight a secret not in the situation he is in.

He ran through weak grim by slicing, decapitation, and impaling but the Grim seemed to be endless as a wave of flying Nevermores dived down Alex turned his weapon into a machine gun and started to fire killing most of them.

One of the Nevermore's had bone-like armor over its head, belly, and back because of this it survived the barrage of bullets.

*SCREECH*

It roared and dived down faster when it was close enough to Alex one of his arms became larger and was also covered by metal-like plates. This was of course Hammerfists.

Alex pulled his fist back and punched the Nevermore shattering through its hard armor and denting its head inward.

Alex had felt an urge to annihilate all of the grim in front of him. He could feel tendrils absorbing the Nevermore giving him that pleasant warm feeling again.

Alex didn't resist the urge as biomass covered him and ended up making him look like Carnage. Both of his arms transformed into jagged blades Alex smiled as his Hud was glitching.

He grinned and ran at one of the poor Beowolfs who would be his first victim in this new form . His left arm transformed into claws and he tore out the wolf's eyes making it howl in pain.

He grabbed its neck and tore through its belly using his blade arm he pulled out the beowolfs black guts and devoured them.

He looked up and saw another Nevermore he laughed and jumped up and through the Nevermore making a hole through its stomach the End finally took effect and made his Carnage look transform.

He now looked more like Alex Mercer when in his armor but he looked more thinner. Alex dived down and using his claw pierced the ground spikes came from the ground and impaled many grim.

Alex absorbed them and felt himself growing stronger he felt an attack from behind himself he backflipped and saw that what attacked him was a large Ursa.

He dug his blade into the Ursa's head and then devoured its corpse he could still see a hoard of grim. Alex using one of the corpses of the grim made a bio bomb he threw it into the center of where the grim was.

Many grim died but it didn't matter to the other grim and they continued to charge at Alex. Alex turned his blade arm to a whip he started to mow down the grim.

When Alex got bored of this he turned his arms into hammerfists he hit a deathstalker in his head killing it instantly he consumed all of the corpsed again.

*ROOOOAAAARRRRRR*

A roar that screamed of rage echoes throughout the forest and all the grim stopped attacking. When the roar came Alex started to pump more mana through his body. Enhancing his body even further he could hear rustling in the bushes.

A humanoid grim with bone armor on its arms, waist, and legs as well as horns on its head came from the bushes it looked around and then noticed Alex. In its right arm, it wielded a blood-red cleaver ready to chop down Alex.

Alex turned his arms into claws and looked at the unique grim while thinking ' Salem never made this type of grim before I guess we aren't following the story anymore'.

The grim swung its cleaver down and sliced off Alex's arm with Alex's other arm he picked up his sliced-off arm and made it into a bio bomb he threw his arm at the grim.

(I don't like calling this new grim just grim so I'll call it Executioner instead)

The Executioner sliced Alex's flying arm but it still exploded into a mass of tendrils. The tentacles pulled in rocks and trees crushing the grim.

*ROOOOAAARRRRRR*

The grim broke the trees and rocks and looked at Alex with rage in its one eye. Alex underneath his mask grinned and turned his arms into hammerfists.

He reeled his fist back and punched forward sending him flying towards the grim at high speeds. The grim dodged the punch and bring his cleaver down Alex spun his body around and made one of his arms into a shield blocking the attack.

The Executioner kicked Alex in his chest pushing Alex to a tree Alex shook his head and turned his arms into blades.

He walked around the grim who was staring at him using blood he shot it out of his back pushing him forward the grim swung its cleaver down. Alex crouched and slid underneath the grim while cutting its leg off.

The grim roared in pain and some of the grim watching looked ready to run into battle Alex. Alex stabbed the grim in its head and absorbed its body.

The grim rushed in to kill him but Alex felt another feeling after he absorbed the grim. He used it and when he looked at the grim they started to run away from him.

'What was that and that form?' Alex thought as the glitching of his hud stopped.

Phantom: "Allow me to answer that for you!"

Phantom said in Alex's mind then two red boxes with text in them appeared. Alex began to read them in his head.

Description: A form similar to Alex Mercers but due to the magic pumping through its host changes have occurred. The material is much harder and lighter than Alexs it also increases the strength, speed, and instincts of the user.]

Alex read the text and thought 'Damn both are very useful they deserve names for the fear one I'll call it Primal Fear and the form.... it will be called Apex Predator'. After Alex named all of his new abilities he deactivated his armor and turned his arms back to normal.

Alex saw Glydna walking towards him while looking confused.

Glydna: "Young man what happened to the waves of grim?"

Alex: "I don't know they started to run in a different direction suddenly they went there."

Alex lied and pointed in a random direction Glydna nodded and said.

Glydna: "Thank you but if you see another swarm if grim don't stand there and put yourself in danger."

Glydna said as she walked in the direction where he pointed. Alex walked over to where the relics were.

And saw Yang and Blake having a conversation with each other Yang noticed Alex.

Yang: "Hello!"

Alex: "Hello how long have you been standing here for?"

Yang: "Well we've bee-"

Ruby: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Blake, Yang, and Alex look up and see Ruby falling and Weiss holding onto a Nevermore.

Yang: "Blake, Alex did you hear that? What should we do?"

Alex: "Let me handle this."

Alex crouched and jumped up causing a shockwave Alex was next to Ruby and he grabbed her.

Ruby: "Thanks but how are we going to land?"

Alex: "I got that handled."

Alex like a cat just landed on his feet Ruby was surprised as well as Blake and Yang, Alex put down Ruby and looked up to see Weiss sitting on Jaune.

Nora appears riding on a grims back the grim dies and Nora is saddened Ren also appears panting. Alex looks at the relics and chooses the black king piece.

Yang: "I can't take it anymore! Can everyone just chill out for two seconds before something crazy happens again?!"

Alex: "Hey calm down."

Yang growled in frustration and Ruby and Weiss start to argue and Alex starts to get annoyed he walks in between them both and looks at Weiss.

Weiss: "Do you know who I am! I am Weiss Schnee heiress of the Schnee Du-"

Alex looked at Weiss and used magic to make it so Ruby couldn't hear what he would say.

Alex: "Shut the fuck up I do not give a shit if you are a Schnee. Now stop acting like your above everyone you're a fucking huntsman now. With the attitude you have right now Grim will kill you on day one."

Yang put her hands over Ruby's ears Blake smiled a little bit at the way Alex talked to Weiss. Ren and Nora had their mouths wide open in surprise. But Weiss was shocked at the way Alex talked to her like she was nothing.

Weiss wanted to say something back but no words could leave her mouth. Alex undid the magic and everyone turned their attention to Pyrrha who landed in front of all of them.

A massive Deathstalker roared and Ruby ran to it with her Cresent Rose.

Yang: "Ruby!"

Ruby: "Don't worry let me handle it!"

Ruby shot the Deathstalker and was surprised to see no damage done she starts to run away from the Deathstalker it begins to chase Ruby crushing animals underneath it.

A Nevermore appears and sends a sharp feather that pierces Rubys red cape and nails it to the ground. Alex starts to run at Ruby as the Deathstalkers golden stinger is about to kill her.

Weiss appears in front of Ruby and starts to talk to her Alex looks at the Nevermore in the sky and the bird starts to shake in fear.

Alex jumps up at the Nevermore everyone looks at him in shock and starts to question how many surprises he has in store.

He lands on the Nevermore who tries to shake him off but he made his feet hook into its flesh he starts to walk up to its head. Alex grabs its head and snaps its neck the grim starts to fall and evaporate.

Yang: "Jump off! I'll catch you!"

Alex jumps off and Yang doesn't manage to catch him leaving a crater on the ground. Yang looks into the crater to see Alex laying there calmly.

Yang: "What even is your semblance?"

'Wait what even is my semblance? Eh, I'll unlock it later' Alex thought as he walked out of the hole he saw that the Deathstalker was putting up a fight.

Ruby shot at the Deathstalker it did no damage to it but it was a distraction Pyrrha threw her spear at the Deathstalker piercing its hard bone armor. The Deathstalker smacked Ruby away with one of its claws.

Sending her flying towards Yang who catched her Alex got up and used Primal Fear to scare the Deathstalker away.

Yang: "How can a grim get scared?"

Alex: "I don't know."

Yang: "You know I have the feeling that you are lying."

Alex: "How can I be lying?"

Yang didn't respond and Alex walked to the location of where Ozpin was everyone followed him.

//Timeskip//

Teams were being assembled team JNPR was just made. 'I wonder what team I'll be on I didn't see anyone on my journey to the relics' Alex thought.

Ozpin: " Blake Belladonna. Ruby Rose. Weiss Schnee. Yang Xiao Long. The four of you retrieved the white knight pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team RWBY. Led by... Ruby Rose!"

Yang: "I'm so proud of you!"

Ozpin: "And finally Alexander Ashborn! You may wonder why I didn't assign him any teammates. Usually, even if a huntsman doesn't see anyone I'll assign teammates myself. But Alex is different he has shown extraordinary skills in combat, stealth, and bravery! So for the first time in history I establish Team Vanta!"

Cheers erupted from the audience and from Ruby and Yang Alex smiled and waved to the audience.

//Timeskip and Ozpin Pov//

Ozpin walked around his desk while looking at his scroll replaying Alex using his abilities then when he was in the Carnage form smiled. 'I've never seen a semblance like that one. Knowing Salem she will be after you. I pray that you do not go into the darkness Alex'

//Salem Pov//

Salem sat on her thrown watching her grim get destroyed by a man with a semblance usually she would work on something else if her plan was ruined. But this man had a semblance unique even compared to other semblances.

She watched as the man's arms became claws and ripped out the beowolfs eyes and then devoured its intestants. 'Interesting he would make a great pawn in defeating Vale and the other kingdoms'.

Salem: "Cinder!"

Cinder walked into the room calmly when she was in front of Salem she bowed.

Cinder: "Yes Mistress."

Salem: "Look."

Salem made Cinder look at the man and Cinder's eyes widened confusing Salem.

Cinder: "This man...I have seen him before when I met that huntress but his semblance I thought it was Superstrength."

Salem: "Cinder observe him and when he is weak offer him to join us if he doesn't kill him but bring his corpse to me."

Cinder: "Yes Mistress."
