While I and my comrades try to push back the zombies, because of the loud noise the guns makes, just makes it even worse and invites more zombie into the horde.
" Captain, we can't hold much longer, the ammo is almost out. " one of my soldiers said with a hopeless look, frowning I then bite my lips and gestured to fall back.
" get inside the building! " I said and all of the students then step in, and when we are about to run inside.
" I'M HERE BITCHES. " a sudden shout then attract me my soldiers, the student, and also the zombies where it runs and leave us.
With that, gunfire that is quite hard to hear then continuously sounded in the air, we take advantage of the distraction and barricade the doors and windows.
After an hour of waiting for the zombie growls to lessen me and my comrades then go upstairs and peek through the window, there I see a bloody person holding a machete and a pistol with a silencer on it and a dog sitting obediently while licking its paw in the person side.
" how is that even possible. " one of my comrades said with widened eyes, just like him I nod my head and others agree with what he said.
Just then a small hand suddenly got my eyes and with a little bit of focus, there I see a cub in a baby carrier that the person carrying.
Opening my mouth in disbelief I then look at the undead scattered around the person.
" open the door. " I said making all of my comrades look at me.
" that person is carrying a baby. " I said and they hesitate but they go and open the door.
• Evelyn's pov •
When all of the zombies is running towards my direction, Gary then run and chomp hard at his target's head where leaving a huge hit mark that digs deeply inside, I then took my machete that is hanging from my waist and also point my gun at the running undead.
With that blood then scattered around but with the help of the barrier talisman, all the splattered red liquid just avoid the cub, which leave the cub and the baby carrier clean.
I then slash all of the zombies that come closer and want to surround me and also assist Gary who is attacking at a great speed.
" looks like bonding one of the commander shadows and Gary is a good choice. " I thought and continue to attack.
And about an hour or so since I lost track of the time, with one slash the last zombie then drop dead on the ground.
With that Gray then sit obediently beside me and lick his bloody paw, just then a creaking sound took my attention.
Glancing towards the school entrance door there I see a man in an army uniform waving and gesturing me to get inside.
Just then a rambling suddenly sounded with a slight shake of the earth, turning my head there I see a horde of zombies, there were so many that they force themself in to enter the gate.
Wasting no time I and Gary then ran to the entrance door, and when the soldier see the zombies that can make his legs tremble in fear he then enter and wait inside with sweat on his forehead but did not close the door so that I can get in.
While supporting the cub's head I then sprinted fast so that the zombies can't keep up and Gary also do the same.
When we finally entered the building I then go and barricade the entrance with my arms and my legs to support me to not fall back using my body weight.
With that everyone then goes and took heavy things that they found and barricades the door shut.
Taking a deep breath I then sat down on the floor and look at any possible injury that the cub who is smiling at me might have.
" thank you for helping us earlier. " a female voice then said, looking at the Female in front of me who is bowing I then stand up.
" no need for a respectful gesture. " I said also giving a slight bow.
" Apu~ " Cub then let out and put her hands in the air, knowing what she wants, and when I was about to carry her I then glace at my bloody hand gloves.
Taking it off I then took the cub to the baby carrier and lay her in the ground with a blanket that support her head.
Taking off my bloody clothes and backpack and only the white t-shirt remaining I then wrap the cub in a blanket and put all the things away.
While Evelyn is busy putting the baby carrier in the military bag but secretly putting it into her inventory, other eyes then observed the cute Cub who is looking at them with confused eyes.
Others and even the soldiers want to pinch the chubby cheeks of the cub.
