Chapter 12

He paused and checked to see if there was any crack but there wasn't. He pushed it with all his might back into its position just in case it wouldn't fall off as he thought. On pushing it back to its position, doctor Wong who was at the pillar close to the cupboard noticed a small hole.

"Wait Edon. It seems like there is a hole behind the cupboard." Doctor Wong said as she stopped Edon to get his attention. On hearing that, Lara got out of the bathroom immediately and went over.

"It's nothing…just some creepy old hole you know…just these crickets that disturb during the night. It's nothing…hmm…" Lara said as she blocked the hole.

"Oh come on Edon, put this back and close the hole so there won't be any crickets filling the room." She instructed Edon.

"But wait…the hole looks large enough for just a cricket to pass through." Doctor Wong exclaimed.

"Well then there might be some rodents. Please put it back." Lara said as she tried her best to cover it up.
